When you look at the MnM system -2-15 seems like the range from feeble to unearthly. A think a circumstance bonus to the research phase of Artificer, Inventor, & Ritualist would be appropriate. Could be a major bonus if you have a Library and another appropriate feature.

Reducing the research time by a rank or two may be appropriate.

Have I used the word appropriate too much?
