Re: Jack of Spades: Banshee, Sunfire, Wolverine, Storm

I definitely agree with you regard Cyclops tactical ability, he is definitely right up there as one of the top tacticians in the marvel universe. I should also say, nice builds. Seen plenty of versions of these characters made before (made plenty myself) but I always enjoy reading someone else take ...

Re: Jack of Spades: Vanisher, Banshee, Sunfire, Wolverine

I was thinking more of Cap in his role as leader of the Avengers in comparison to Cyclop's role as leader of the X-men. Cap was always one of my favourite Avengers, Cyclops was never one of my favourite X-men. If the writers wanted to make Cyclops more interesting then they succeeded by making reade...

Re: Jack of Spades: Vanisher, Banshee, Sunfire, Wolverine

I concur about Sunfire, but to me he's redeemed over Wolverine because the writers don't seem to expect us to like him. He's not a psycho disguised as a noble savage, tortured by animal urges no one could control; he's just a jerk, and everyone treats him like one. Sunfire is called on his BS and s...

Re: It Came From the Bookshelf (Cat Planet Cuties, Neverwas)

Haha! Cool, I like the Electroshock build. That was a great short film, poor guy got what he wanted. And after reading a little about Neverwas you've given me something to watch on Netflix :) Edit: Turns out that I have seen Neverwas before, can't fully remember it though. I must have seen it when i...

Re: Aerlwyn Characters 2e/3e

Whenever I think of a technomage I always think of the techno-wizard from rifts, done up like some kind of fighter ace.

Re: CBWJM's Builds: Gilgamesh the Forgotten One

Had a look on your thread, that was the one. Mine was similar in a way but became far too bloated in abilities. I was aiming at a highly skilled 2 fisted adventurer with time manipulation powers tacked on, it got a little out of hand.

Re: CBWJM's Builds: Gilgamesh the Forgotten One

Nice take on the progress of Pax over the years. I find it notable that he only developed his powers and not much else. Which is pretty symbolic considering all Novas do the same in Aberrant. It certainly puts into light how massively screwed the Psions are. Especially if the Nova's just keep on ge...

Re: CBWJM's Builds: Gilgamesh the Forgotten One

I've thought about how Divis Mal might evolve, although not as much as Pax's evolution. One thing I've thought is that he evolves above the concerns of novas, reaching a plateau of power where he sheds his mortal form and becomes a cosmic force. With Pax, I see the form I posted as a transitional ph...

Re: CBWJM's Builds: Gilgamesh the Forgotten One

In the world of Aberrant, Novas are incredibly powerful beings who run the risk of their power driving them mad. Something I've thought about with Pax is what would happen to him as he grows in power. He reads as a flawed hero who cares more for his own image than anything else and showing everyone ...

And now for nightmare fuel of a different type: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lybovg2whZ1r9mp5uo1_500.jpg To those of you who will never be able to look at Jasmine the same way after this, I say: HA! NOOOOOO! Re: CBWJM's Builds: Gilgamesh the Forgotten One

Not sure who I will be working on next, I tend to post intermittently. I was thinking of maybe doing Thena and Zuras although Thena is pretty similar to Ikaris although not as strong, makes up for it with a more powerful energy blast and greater intellect. Zuras would be like taking Ikaris and bumpi...

Re: CBWJM's Builds: Gilgamesh the Forgotten One

Very nice Gilgamesh profile, cbwjm! Gilgamesh is an oft-forgotten character in write-ups, especially when super-strong characters are featured, so very glad to see him here. Can't wait for other Eternals as well. If you haven't checked them out yet, I have write ups of Makkari, Ikaris, and Sersi as...

Re: CBWJM's Builds: Gilgamesh the Forgotten One

That could work, I think it would have to be triggered and I'm not sure if the cost would be worth it, although as he has been statted as an NPC the cost doesn't really matter. Something else I've been thinking about is that maybe it would be a complication more than a power, it sounds like somethin...
