Re: damiller art thread

I really like your Red Wall/Mouse Guard/Whatever other 9000 intelligent animal books I could list - stuff you did. Nice ink work on them. I like the sneer the mouse has - interesting.

Your style really shines through with those pieces. Good page one portfolio pieces. :)

Re: #187 OV, #182 T

A J-Mart Favorite item in our PC line hits the Aisle 1 shelves. http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/ad199/Thorpacolypse/84987-76249-mr-terrific.jpg I was going to make some sort of balls joke here, but I just can't do it...He's too great of a character. MISTER TERRIFIC PC PL: 11 (165 pp) - OPL: 11 ;...

Re: Introduction and Questions

Taliesin's builds suck! If they were really good instead of a static picture at the top of each build he would have a GIF of the character in action, or possibly a movie/animation clip. If Tal cannot commit fully to the character presentation I am not going to respect his builds. That is my story a...

Re: Introduction and Questions

Oh! I hope my comments did not make it sound like I was insulting him or his expertise! LOL if it came off as being snide or subtle rudeness then I am sorry. That was not my intention at all. I think the build is awesome, as are all his builds. They are very educational and helping me a lot with ide...

Re: Introduction and Questions

Thanks for the quick reply! That is a pretty sweet build - cool that he used deception instead of just persuasion. Lower fighting and pressence then I would give him - then again I am still learning so I am not up on all the benchmarks just yet... still really awesome builds all around. So I am goin...

Re: Introduction and Questions

Thanks gang for the help. I have been trying to build well known comic characters to help work out the kinks in my thinking process when it comes to character creation. Been having a fun time with it as well. But I have ran into a slight problem when working on a Gambit build. I can make his charge ...

Re: PodCasts - stop them - now !

Not to start a war of words or anything, but a merely different perspective on the pod casts. I like them a great deal. The fact that the players and people on the show do not seem like stuck up suits adds to the charm. They are every day people with a love for gaming ,comics..and doughnuts. It is n...

Re: The 'Batcopter'

3d model artist amaze me. I am strightly a 2d guy who makes it look like everything is in perspective - ya know like most pen and paper (computer now) artist do. Trick your eye into seeing perspective.

Is this all paper? And did you totally deisgn it yourself?

Nicely done regardless. Good job you.

Re: M&M 3E Podcast- Quickstart Chargen characters!

As a few people know I am almost totally new to MnM - having just got into the game the last few weeks. Coming from the Marvel Universe RPG, which is almost always random for character gen, this product is somewhat of a must have for our group. Nice podcast. Kind of feel like the good old days of ga...

Re: Heroes & Villains Designer Journals

LOVE old school Red Bee. Nothing is better then sending out a swarm of trained bees to take down a evil doer! Cannot wait for the second installment as Blue Beetle is one of my favorite DC heroes. I think I have some obsession with bug heroes. Might need to look into that. Thanks for putting this up...

Re: Introduction and Questions

I see now. It was actually - almost all the questions - related to a player who wanted to be something of a defense character who use alien technology , devices with an array (shield, blast and resistances all in the same item) with one of the powers being a triggered shield he could put around inno...

Re: Introduction and Questions

I see. I understand the a PLs but I was thinking if you made the force field only work on other targets and not yourself it would work. However I can see how someone would abuse that by hiding behind the person they threw the power on. Thanks for the patience , reply and suggestion for the effect I ...

Re: Introduction and Questions

Thank you all for the quick responses. [Edited before I realized someone responded - hey sorry.] From what I read Deflect was a power to use on others. After rereading it I understand it better. In my mind I was thinking of it like a force field effect the went out and formed around a ally or innoce...
