Re: [Raccoon City] Elsa, AC: Mister Freeze, Poison Ivy

I'd like to test out some builds (using my options) of varying power levels, see if I could get the proper level of narrative balance. Just like MHR (my other favorite supers game) does it, or even The Avengers movie, I'd like to see if it's possible to do this with M&M, especially as I have modifie...

Re: [Raccoon City] Elsa, AC: Mister Freeze, Poison Ivy

Claire- were you involved in the W20 Cookbook? It looks like a quirky product, but yeah, Werewolf players can be very quirky..so it might really work. That and we're a month and a half too early for their annual April's fool prank. Then again, its starting to make me think about what would be in a ...

Re: The Golden Age of Strength.

In Dragon Ball, during the Buu Saga, a couple of characters get so strong they can yell through dimensions. Like, they can scream hard enough tear rifts through the barrier between dimensions. Their strength ends up paling in comparison to later characters, too.

Re: Jab's Builds: Comet Man, Obadiah Stane, Alpha, Doctor Bo

In a sequel to the original "Spidey meets Juggernaut" story, called Something Can Stop the Juggernaut , Captain Universe beat Juggernaut into a coma at the story's outset. The bearer was just a normal man, but the Uni-Power was so great he legitimately had a chance at killing Juggernaut. Then at the...

Re: Jab's Builds: Darla Deering, Mr. Negative, Kristoff, Nan

I think it's the first Nanny that I remember... something involving Storm being turned into a child, but Nanny forgetting that Storm was an accomplished thief as a child, meaning she could undo the restraints. That Nanny was a robot built by Magneto. He strapped the X men which reduced the X men's ...

Re: [Raccoon City] Elsa, AC: Mister Freeze, Poison Ivy

Hey, Claire I have been enjoying all your builds as of late. I see you're also a fan of Elsa the snow queen. Yours must be the third Elsa build on the forums. She must be really popular to get so many builds in such a small amount of time! By the way, would Marshmallow the Snow Golem count ...

Re: [Raccoon City] Elsa the Snow Queen, AC: Mister Freeze

Thanks! What's the Dr. Schimmel origin like? I'll admit I'm not immediately familiar.

Re: [Raccoon City] Elsa the Snow Queen, AC: Mister Freeze

He's one of my favorite DC villains, and in large part because he's so Marvel-esque. He's got very human motivations, a story full of pathos, and a cool (ha!), distinct style. His appearances on TAS were great, his appearance in this game was also pretty awesome, and he stands out even among a game ...

[3E] Powers & Dynamic Defenses

One thing I like about a different supers game is that defensive options are a bit more narrative-fueled. If a boulder is hurtling at your group of heroes, Spider-Man might leap and web-swing away, the Thing might decide to stand there and tank the hit, Kitty Pryde phase into intangibility, while Cy...

Re: scc 3rd Edition Builds: Request...Red Ronin!!!

Hey, great job on Red Ronin. He's got a cool name and a cool design, even if Marvel's Godzilla didn't exactly impress me. I did like the fight with the Betan monsters, though.

Re: Eld's builds:Firebrand, Jill Valentine

Great work on Jill. I've always liked her, though I prefer her as a brunette. :P She's fun in both her MVC appearances. I just wish that UMVC3 didn't have such an insane learning curve to mastery. I've played with the world's best players at it, and it's pretty absurd. Everything is one long nigh-in...

Re: [Raccoon City] RE2, Arkham City, Elsa the Snow Queen

True enough! They're both great. I loved the rock-climbing scene. Had me laughing, and not the first point in the movie. Some parts of it had me close to tears, too. Pretty impressive. I will go on an epic gush soon. Gonna finish the AC builds, then I'll do the rest of what I'm going to do for Froze...

The Supergirl one is funny, but this is hilarious, too. I'd love to see that.
