Le Sigh, Redux!

First, I have said nothing of the sort, and have explained why this is not a typo, at all... and you have utterly ignored my explanation, because you have become fixated on the notion that the rules mean what YOU think they do... BOTH statements are true, AND there is NO contradiction! Yes, it would...

{Le Sigh!} As I said, the wording is unclear and imprecise... but this is an OGL product, and not anything conforming to the (dear, departed) SPI "Case System" format! You have made your point, and I agree with you that it should be cleared up... but my experience with reading the rules, and mention...

GGtG: Page 23 lists a pistol as Diminutive or Tiny, but page 24 lists it as Medium. The former is the actual size of the device, the latter appears to refer to the size of the weilder it was designed for. I believe, arcady, that Dr. Nuncheon is quite correct, and that neither statement is in error!...

Le Sigh!

I suppose that all this means that this product is going to be only for Win2k, and for XP, but not for us poor Win98 users?

Well, good luck, anyways!

Feats follow up...

Right, it's up to the Game Master... One, small problem... I AM the Game Master! Is there any chance that such a list (of what Feats should be allowed multiple times, and which shouldn't) might be compiled at a later date? I can always ignore the list if I don't like it, but it would be nice ...

THe extra or stunt, triggered on first power, only on first power little set. Should be in the FAQ. My understanding is: [...] Force field should lose the free extra and drop to 1PL. It costs 2 but gets a free extra seems silly to me. [...] Define number of free actions... 2 + dex bonus or 2 + Int ...

On the disintegration thing, I personally prefer to ditch the Damage Caps entirely, and let people buy whatever they can afford! But, those who are concerned with 'Game Balance' (poor, deluded fools though they might be) would likely shriek in horror at your suggestion... AND, so would those who bou...

Feats, don't fail me now!

{Sorry about that...} Pardon me if this has been covered before, and please point me in the right direction if it has been... There seem to be some Feats that can be taken more than once, and others where you can't, but there doesn't seem to be one general list of which ones are which! The on...

Post-Errata Force Fields...

I'm sorry if this has been discussed to death, and I just haven't seen it, yet... {feel free to point me to the prior discussion, if it has!} But I just noticed that, in the Errata (yes, I'm way behind!), Force Field has been increased in cost to 2 points per level, the same as for Protection! Okay,...

Interesting, but either way (your 'Disintegration', or my 'Armor Piercing') might have 'Cap' issues, for games that pay attention to such things...
In order to use a Level 10 Disintegration Extra (never mind the Disruption) on a level 10 Attack, you'd need to be 20th level, wouldn't you?

Penetrating Attack, with or without the current errata, still seems to be broken. This seems to need some rethinking. Agreed! For whatever it's worth, I've kind of 'Championized' it, via a House Rule... Make it an Extra, rather than a Feat, and reduce the target's Protection by 1 level, for every l...

Oh yeah, can you clarify the Super-Power feature for Headquarters? If you have a PL10 headquarters does that mean you could have a Super-Power X +10 [Cost: 10pp/rank]? Other questions: What effect types are the following powers- Luck, Neutralize, Slow, Weather Control, Reincarnate, Super-Skill, Ble...

I think I agree with this... though it's been discussed enough, maybe someone needs to ask Steve, over on the 'Pffical Rules Questions' thread! For my part, I came up with a House Rule that limits movement, instead... If the Hardness of an object you're trying to pass through is less than, or equal ...
