Re: Jab's Builds: Derangers/Omega Flight, Mayans, Toshinden

I always sucked at fighting games. My friends always kicked my ass but I loved Battle Arena Toshinden. I did, however, have a bad habit of going right of the side and dying when I did Sofia's aurora revolution (or whatever the hell that move was called).

Re: GAZbuild: Sentinel Variety and Cameron Hodge

I gotta admit, Cameron Hodge did kinda put the "D" in "douche."

Re: Jab's Builds: Belasco, S'ym, Bushwacker, Blonde Phantom

For a guy that's "more of a planner than a fighter," Crucible sure as hell did a crappy job planning what to wear when that picture was drawn.

Re: Jab's Builds: Howard, M. Pandemonium & Mold, Humbug, Bel

I remember what struck me about the initial story where Illyana was taken was how utterly f***ed up and well done a horror story it was. The X-Men were separated, trapped in a weird dimension, and kept coming across their alternate selves, with Wolverine's skeleton lying on the ground and Colossus'...

Re: Jab's Builds: K. Shrike, Howard the Duck, Master Pandemo

-I mainly remember the one from the '90s "X-Men" cartoon, which was a BAD-ASS episode. Master Mold immediately and humorously turned on its builders ("But Sentinels were created to protect humans from mutants!" "That is illogical! Mutants ARE human. And thus, humans must be protected- from themselv...

Re: Jab's Builds: Mary Marvel, Blackfire, Shockwave, Cheshir

Is it me or do these Nazi villain types always dress like complete idiots? Most of them could definitely use a healthy dose of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Geez.

I gotta confess: I actually like Jericho's costume. I think it's pretty cool.

Nice builds. I prefer 2nd Edition as well. By the way, where are you getting the artwork from, if I may ask?

Re: Jab's Builds: Nightwing, Tempest, Cyborg, Herald, Bumble

Herald or whatever the hell he's called these days gets "worst dressed nominee" for the second costume with all of those damn stars on it. He looks a hot mess! Who the hell let him out the house wearing that? I'm sorry but that is grounds for being kicked off the team.

Re: [Writeups.org] [3E] Gamble, Pit Bulls, American Ninja

I remember when I my whole family to the drive in to see American Ninja. It was the second movie shown, the main one was one of Jean Claude Van Damme's first movies, No Retreat, No Surrender.

Re: Jab's Builds: Ultra Boy, Invis. Kids, Chameleon Boy, Tel

Kori's tossing around of people was pretty standard for normal human superheroes as well- she IS quite tall, so it makes sense that she'd be stronger than a normal person. Her strength was considered normal enough that in her "DC Who's Who" page, they didn't list it as a power. The "Technis Imperat...

Re: Jab's Builds: Ultra Boy, Invisible Kids, Chameleon Boy

I have to admit, I kinda liked the Monstress character. However, I was ranting about the whole Projectra being a snake thing. I didn't really care that they had a sentient snake on the team. I had a problem with them remaking Projectra into a snake. If I never read the original Legion, it would not ...
