Re: How do you know that you're a D-list hero?

Really, DC should just make the Brave and the Bold version of Aquaman the official version. I would buy every issue of The Outrageous Aquaman.

Re: A Dimensional Places Handbook

It would be interesting to see some of the other realms fleshed out a bit more.

Re: Atlas of Earth-Prime: The USA

since lockdown was added to north America, does this mean we'll be seeing some of the characters or factions from Paragons as well in future installments? No plans for that yet. The Paragons stuff is all from different worlds -- but there's certainly some cool stuff there. Certainly, there could be...

Also, while Frank Welker did do a lot of voices, he was not Cobra Commander. That was the late Chris Latta.
Frank Welker was the voice of Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. Similar groups, to be sure.

Re: Probably taboo....but is there a Marvel official publica

I think when a Disney bough Marvel is when the last Marvel License was pulled from Margaret Weiss. I just assumed Disney was reevaluating stuff. Disney licenses are notoriously expensive, and they keep raising them. SLG and BOOM! had to cancel their very popular Disney titles simply because they co...

Re: Atlas of Earth Prime

The Canadian entry is written by Scott Bennie -- an actual Canadian! ... Is there at least one pro wrestling or Final Sacrifice reference? That's bizarre! I'd never heard of Final Sacrifice, but I work at the school that the student film was made in and knew the lead in high school. There should to...

Re: Atlas of Earth-Prime: The USA

Yeah, and ARCADE gets mentioned as maybe having a base in one of the new cities. Overall, though, while I liked this, all the statted characters were from 2e, admittedly with some upgrades (like Raven/ Elite). Now, I understand the idea of leaving the "new" characters as concepts for players to use ...

Re: NBC's Heroes Reborn

I think the problem with HEROES is that it started out being an interesting story, got moderately popular, and had to shift gears into being a Network Television Show. Close, but I think it goes deeper than that: Its not that it became popular, so much as it was "popular" before the first episode e...

Re: NBC's Heroes Reborn

I think Heroes is a show that had promise but was utterly wrecked by the writer strike during the second season, and it obviously shows after that. I have friends that absolutely loved the entire run, but they also don't like and don't keep up with comics. I think it coming back as a miniseries wit...

NBC's Heroes Reborn

This is a thing that is happening. NBC is rebooting the show with a 13 episode mini-series in 2015. Which... yeah.
