Re: Input Jacks Write-ups (Kryptonians, Batman update)

Ive been planning to try to arrange it so that Superman will typically operate at a "mere" PL 10-11, but be able to kick it up when need arises. A friend of mine has devised a system where, if you do big damage, you still run a risk of hurting someone unless you "pull". If I can get a copy of his ru...

Re: Input Jacks Write-ups (Kryptonians, Batman update)

THREAD NECROMANCY! Hello again. If anyones reading this, Ive decided to re-boot my DC campaign in DC Adventures. And while youd THINK that this would mean that I wouldnt need to do any write-ups....I cant leave well enough alone. After looking over the Heroes and Villains books, and thinking about i...

Re: Prodigy Duck 3e Builds (Gaea, Galactus)

P-Duck's write-ups are conversions from the FASERIP Marvel Superheroes game. This is where Marvel set the character's abilities!

And yeah, Marvel and DC are on two different power scales.

Re: So . . . Brainiac . . .

I prefer the DCAU version of Brainiac, also. No disrespect to the artist who drew him, but my biggest complaint is actually with the artwork for the character, in which Brainiac, with his 12th level Intellect, is depicted as overmuscled, slack-jawed, and standing in an arms-dangling, pidgeon-toed st...

Re: I can see for Miles and Miles and Miles...

How old was that example comic clip, anyway? That looked like it was from the 60's or 70's, before Superman was rescaled in the Crisis. Im not sure its a valid example, since he hasnt been like that in 20+ years. The point that someone would need Quickness to process all the information from being a...

Re: Prodigy Duck's Beastiary and More (Torog)

Wow. I had no idea that this was Torog's concept. I have to agree, its a bit on the gorefest side. Also, what was he like as a God before he got his backside handed to him in battle? I love your conversion work, P-Duck. You know that. But I think the concept behind this character is kind of weak. Yo...

Re: Prodigy Duck's Beastiary and More (4e Lamia)

Im likely to continue doing conversions for my DCEAU campaign, since Im assuming that the published stuff will be for the current comics continuity instead. On the other hand, I havent posted about a dozen write-ups because...um...Im lazy >_<

Re: Input Jacks Write-ups (Kryptonians, Batman update)

With the recent announcement of M&M and DC Comics collaborating to release DCU books for the game, Ill likely be using those for the most part once they come out. Im really looking forward to it :D

Re: DC or Marvel campaign, whose builds to use?

Agreed. My DC game led me to create a lot of write-ups, which work for the "Timmverse" feel I wanted. But not everyone sees the characters the same way. Mix and match, Id say. And use other peoples' write-ups as a springboard for your own. :)
