Re: J-Mart: Ape stuff, Koya, Angel

All your cool builds makes me want to catch back up on the new TMNT comic. I was really enjoying it there, but after missing a few issues and my FLGS not getting the issues I missed back in I just kind of fell out of it. I may have to try my chances again or see if they can reorder them for me.

Re: GAZbuild: Brotherhood: Blob, Destiny, Spiral, Sauron

Wait. Sauron got his powers from getting bit by a pterodactyl?! I always thought he was just a mutant that would turn into a pteradoctyl-man for wacky comic book reasons... My whole life has been lie! Existence is meaningless! Well, not really, but it is still very surprising for me. :)

Re: J-Mart: GL Two-Six, GL Jruk, GL Jack T. Chance, Ape stuf

Ah Gorillas, a true staple of comics, because as we all know, Everything's Better With Monkeys!

*The geek in me feels the urge to clarify that Gorillas and Chimpanzees are apes, NOT monkeys.

Re: Jab's Builds: Dr. Riggs, Bloodstone, Clea, The Parkers

Jab, I've found that there are three things that make your thread utterly fantastic: great builds, entertaining insight and information on all things nerdy, and it's uncanny ability to start great conversations/debates on comics that lets my geek flag fly :D. Now I just read anything by Terry Moore ...

Re: Jab's Builds: Geiger, Komodo, Cloud 9, M.V.P., K.I.A.

Yeah, I think my favorite moment of the Initiative is when it becomes apparent that he's not cut out for super heroics, so they send him home... but not before Taskmaster and Constrictor pose in a picture with him to make it look like he beat them both up. Mine would be either that or when one supe...

Re: Jab's Builds: Mr. Burns, Jay Sherman, Alan Moore, Exiles

First, I wanted to compliment you again on all the great Simpson's builds. I have already started shopping around for all the good seasons, so I can rewatch them again.

Second, Yay for builds of the Exiles!!!

Re: Jab's Builds: Apu, Mona, Smithers, Stan Lee, Mr. Burns

I always giggle at the part where Stan Lee is forcing the Thing into the batmobile and narrates it. "Look, he's fitting right now!"

Oh and I still to this day will randomly answer my phone with Ahoy, hoy! because of Mr. Burns. It really throws off telemarketers. :)

Re: Jab's Builds: Jimbo, Marge, Patty, Selma, Skinner

-Willie is a true rarity- a Simpsons character who is ACTUALLY A GOOD FIGHTER, as he's able to wrestle a Timber Wolf to exhaustion, climb through the vents at Springfield Elementary with ease (but only while greased), and beat the snot out of Homer. There's nary an animal alive that can outrun a gr...

Re: Jab's Builds: Jimbo, Marge, Patty, Selma, Skinner

Continuing Skinner quote... Skinner: Well, that was wonderful. A good time was had by all. I'm pooped. Chalmers: Yes, I should be, good lord what is happening in there?! Skinner: Aurora Borealis? Chalmers: Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Local...

Re: Jab's Builds: Uranus, Master, Gaia, Vermilion, The Simps

The Simpsons is fantastic, even with the subpar later episodes. Just seeing your builds and quotes made me try to think of my favorite episodes, but I had to stop at 10 or so because each time I thought of one another one came to mind! Hell, just reading some of the quotes and other peoples favorite...

Re: Jab's Builds: Agatha, Ani-Mator, It!, Superior Spider-Ma

Very nice Superior Spider-Man build, Jab. I was initially very hesitant about the whole idea at first, but have been pleasantly surprised by the run and thought they've done a good job on the pace of the series as well. On an unrelated note, I recently saw Frozen due to your endorsement (ie. constan...

Re: Jab's Builds: Gargos, Eternal Champions- Midknight

You know I got a big nostalgia kick out of the Killer Instinct builds and even found myself shaking my head at how corny the characters were in that game. That is until I realized how easyily the characters could be placed into a superhero setting! You have the shady, major corporation running thing...

Re: Jab's Builds: T-Rex, Brontosaurus, KILLER INSTINCT- Thun

My favourite fighting game personally was Bushido Blade for the first Playstation, even if it's for no other reason than the fact that it was so completely and utterly different to most other fighting games of that time on every conceivable level. Oh my god, Bushido Blade was fantastic! Even if hal...
