I knew they'd do a freedom city 3e book but it would take three years or so before it happened.
But when you do it:
1) Please incorporate the Freedom's Most Wanted sourcebook into it, much like you did with Foes of Freedom into the FC2e book.
2) Can you set Captain Thunder's Strength to 15 or 16, if he is PL 13, he could have a 16 str, 10 attack easily. Just he seems like a great top-tier powerhouse. If power-lifting is a common build element, say 2 ranks, then please keep it. So he'd have like 15 (17) or 16 (18) as far as strength goes. Plus his electrical powers could use a bit of widening. There is an option in the Ultimate Powers called Thunderpunch and my version of Capt Thunder has that as a standard (punch + thundering dazzle affliction), plus he has a great area of effect centered on himself that is like chain-lighting area effect.
Also the other strange thing was always why he only had a 4 Stamina. I suppose you could do that, but it seemed strange and against the grain since he clearly is a Paragon, with a bit of modification as an Energy Controller mixed in. In other words, please start with the Paragon and add the Capt Thunder.
I liked how Aaron Sullivan re-did the FC characters. My vote is just let him do them all in 3e stats. I really like how he wrote up Johnny Rocket and the others.
3) Can you update the pic for Siren, Lady Liberty (and give her some boobs, look to wonder woman or a good model), Dr. Metropolis, and in the official pdf for Freedom City 2e the image for Hiroshima Shadow is corrupt and is hard to lose. We never got an official fix for those of us who bought the pdf for 2e. So perhaps you can fix this if you use the same image, or else just get a new image.
Please add a pic of the desert devil character. He is neat and deserves one.
Can you add some 'super-bases' for some of the master villains like Mastermind, Dr. Sin or Shadow. Sort of like we see at the end of the GM's guide. (only if there is room, but it would be a neat addition)
OR, you could take material specific to Freedom City, from Agents of Freedom, the Age books, etc. and have a companion book for the freedom city 3e book (like if you do a two volume set) and thus have it all in there. If so, consider a Limited Edition version. Look at the Call of Cthulhu 6e limited edition for the quality level that would be nice to have. The 2e limited edition core book was nice, but could have been much better. Sort of like the original GM screen for 2e compared to the Deluxe, clearly a difference and if your going to do it, and if the LE version would have been 60, but a slightly nicer is 75 bucks. I doubt those who buy it mind, if it is that much better.
lastly, print up a link to the GR store to download the Freedom City herolab files for the characters, npc's and villains in the FC3e book, plus a code for a discount for the pdf (thus we can buy that too), or something like it, but please create the herolab files much like you do for the other products now
And if you do a slipcover like you mentioned for Emerald City, please consider adding Time of Crisis or Time of Vengence (if you just want to update some stats) or you could have another adventure (But I bet people would be happy with an updated ToC/ToV. Something to consider.
A new adventure would be cool, but if so use the official npc's like Dr. Tommorrow as an npc who needs help and enlists the characters, or a magical one where we can meet Eldrich or something like that. OR
here's a nifty idea: How about a Secret Wars style game. like a battle of the heroes vs villains where a selection of hero npcs vs villains in a series of contests, and battles based on the plotting and events on the villains side (like we see from dr doom). You could do this as a great Convention game. Players at one table play the heroes and another group of players play the villains. Then GR can have say 2 GM's who work as a team. It would be an awesome game, you can't find in your local town most likely. Please do not go down the Secret Wars we saw this last decade, i'm talking the original series.
It would be cool, plus you can let the GM choose the ultimate list, but give them sample lists, and write up the scenerio and art based on that.
Another great idea, since Steve mentions there is too many heroes you could do an Infinity Crisis style game where at the end of the Event book you include the players play around with an updated style of time of crisis but with all new scenerios and a wider choice of character you can choose if pre-generated (ie maybe someone might want to play Johnny Rocket or my favorite Capt Thunder). Then based on the outcome, there might be less heros. The FC2e and Time of Crisis mentions doing something like this but ToC was such a good adventure, having updated new scenerios might be fun. Omega is nasty fun, and since all that Terminus material is written, a scenerio could take you there, and you might go to that living city that seems to be on the edge of the terminus.
Lots of room for great play ideas.
