Supernatural Handbook book should be December.

DC Adventures: Universe is in production now. I'm not sure of the release date due to approvals with DC.

Then Emerald City in the first few months of next year.

Jameson's review convinced me to buy. I think the pseudo-photoshop pictures largely fit, although a few, such as the Noble Monster, sport sharp edges that contrast oddly against the rest of it.

^_^ And personally, I thought the WTF sign was kind of cute. I'd imaging it came from some victim who decided that peaceful resistance was how to defeat it and was proved wrong.

^_^ I haven't read through all of it, but so far, everything looks good (except for it all being couched in 3E terms, but that's easy enough to fix). I'm planning to run an occult campaign soonish, so this comes in handy.

Chapter 3 is the real meat for my money and it is pretty mechanics free as I recall. Either way, I'm glad my review helped. :)

Yeah, that Chapter sounds interesting ^^

The classicl anti-monster tools on Chapter 2 came across a bit weird unfortunately: Almost all of them just use this new feature to take advantage of monster weaknesses, yet the actual effects are rather specific and identical for all creatures they are effective against Oo

I like what I'm seeing from the previews. Although the heroic archetypes shown doesn't correspond to anything I know of from horror.

The Dark Emissary looks like a scary mix of Dr Weir (played by Sam Niel) from Event Horizon and Freddy Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street. The only problem I have with it is the really low toughness save. Does her adaptation power allow her to adapt against attacks? She could really use some regeneration or protection. I guess she'll be possessing someone most of the time so her low toughness wouldn't be too much of a problem.

The inhuman juggernaut seems to represent the large unstoppable giants seen in Resident evil and Silent
Hill. The only weakness I see is that it doesn't have much of a ranged throwing attack or leaping. Which would make it very vulnerable to flying characters. I guess the high impervious protection should offset this.

There's also the tactical means of delaying an action until the flyer/speedster is within melee. Speedy types usually don't have a lot of toughness so a good hit as they try to run by would put them in a hurting way.

I definitely like the layout of the book. I feel like a different approach was taken on how this book reads (which is good!). I really like the build a critter portion. This is something I would like to see more of with NPC creation in future books.

Also worth pointing out that, rather than attack the heroes, the Juggernaut may simply opt to run through the foundation of a building or a gas main, forcing the heroes to act to clean up after him.

If the flyer has a ranged attack, this will not work out too well.

Well, the Juggernaut can always throw rocks and stuff - preferrably ones big enough to count as Area attacks.
