Calendar tool

Can anyone recommend a good calendar tool suitable for use with RPGs of any kind? I'm looking for something I can keep track of past, current, and planned future events in my campaign... preferably with a search function so I can find the date & info I'm looking for with little difficulty. My campaign is set in a standard earth, so I don't need some super customizable fantasy RPG tool if there's something better (but if that's all I can find to fit the bill, I don't have a problem with it either).

Are you looking for a rl tool, or an ingame type tool? If something for rl, google calendar is pretty good.
