Sunday afternoons, around 2pm, would work best for me.

I do need to let you know that my wife and I are expecting our 2nd child (a boy) in late January. So, we may only be able to get in a couple a gaming sessions before will have to take a break while my wife and son recover. Let me know if this will be an issue.

Not a problem at all, that is completly understandable. Thats similar to the reason I myself can't play every weekend, I have my visits with my 3 girls the weekends I don't play.

You were wanting to GM the game correct? I was thinking that you had said that in an earlier post.

So as it stands now this coming weekend is when I have my kids and my buddy has to work O.T., so we could drive over next weekend if you were wanting to try and get together then. We would just have to know what kinda setting you wanted to run ( 4-color, Iron Age, or somehting else) and and any kind of limits as to what kind of characters would or wouldn't be allowed. We would also need some kind of directions to where you wanted us to meet you at.

Also one more last minute thing, my friend & I may be bringing along one of our other players. He has called me & left me a message to let me know he was interested in getting back into gaming. I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet but I was going to let him know about this and see if he would be interested joining us if you had no problems with that.

-I could run something. Honestly, I’ve never played the game but I have read over the rules and have the framework of a couple of storylines I can try to flesh out.

-[i]Next weekend is good. I thought I might try a 4-color, silver age campaign set in the late 1950’s, early 1960’s (ala the Fantastic Four or X-Men). I don’t know if you’ve every played the computer game Freedom Force but I kicked around the idea of setting a MnM campaign in that universe when my wife sorta, kinda, maybe thought she might consider playing sometime.
Since I’m new to the game I think PL8 characters might be a good level to start at. The heroes will be in their late teens or early twenties which will allow the characters to grow and develop with the campaign. I don’t know if I have any character types that I would specifically disallow. I would just ask that you try to stay within the spirit of the campaign.
We can meet at my house, if you like. Why don’t you shoot me an email at scooterhawk1@yahoo.com and I’ll give you my address and direction to my house.

I have no problem with your friend joining. Three is a good number of players to start with.

Cool, it all sounds good! I will get in touch with you early next week for the directions.

We don't know anything at all about the Freedom Force setting, but then again we've never played a game set in that time frame either so it should be a very interesting type of game. My friend and I are looking forward to getting together with you to game.

Hey Scooterhawk,

I haven't heard from you since I called you, and I was wondering if you were still wanting to get together this comming weekend.

I'll email you as well about this too, but I wanted to cover all of the bases just to be sure.

Tattooedman,
Did you receive the email I sent covering the campaign? If not I can resend it or post it here on the board. This weekend is doable. Still want to try for Sunday at 2pm?

After giving it some thought, if its ok with you, why don't I just come down to Springfield this weekend instead of all of you coming up here to Celina? I have Monday and Tuesday off so time is really not an issue. Plus I think there would be fewer distractions.

Will,
I sent you an email with some thoughts about the game. Let me know if you get it. Also, if you have the time could you send me or post them here the stats and backgrounds for everyone's characters?

Happy New Year!

Yep, I got that e-mail.

Give me a couple of days to get the stats of every1's characters and I'll post 'em up for you.

Oh yeah, I talked with James and he was wanting to make some changes to his character (silly) and he liked the rework you sent me so he wants to just use that instead.

Hello All,
My recent group of players disbanded so once again I am looking for mature MnM2 players in the Celina area. The campaign is a Silver Age setting; which takes place in a modified version of Freedom City during the 1960’s.
I’m a married guy with two small children and a full time job...needless to say I have limited free time. Because of this I’m looking for players who will collaborate with me in creating and developing story-lines within the campaign.
I’m willing to GM, although I enjoy playing too, so if you’re in the area and the game sounds like your thing, drop me an email at scooterhawk1@yahoo.com.
