" When Omega attacked, everything changed. I don't remember it myself, but I do know what my parents told me about how the world became an entirely different place. Before the invasion, there were heroes; people with extraordinary powers who would perform amazing feats of bravery and sacrifice. There were also villains, who were as bad as the heroes were good. One thing I know is that when the armies of Omega came screaming through the sky, they all fought. To keep our world our own, safe from whoever was cutting down our friends in the streets and simmering over the earth like a virus. It was the Centurion who delivered a final fatal blow to Omega. Chaos ensued afterward... everyone was confused, tending to the wounded, looking for their loved ones in panic. By the time the smoke wafted up and away and the dust settled down, a start reality had come to pass. They were gone. All of them. The Heroes and the Villains. There were no powers... everyone was normal, just flesh and blood people... no demigods or mutants or anything. Some said they got sucked into Omega's world... Others say they went into hiding or died, and others say that after that battle they all decided to retire. After about a year of panic, it started to become normal. It's been thirteen years now; no flying, no super-strength or speed... and the world is unprepared. Because the fact is some of us exist. Maybe I was the first, maybe not. But I sense them out there, sometimes, like a moth flitting on the edge of my perception. And I know something bad will happen if we aren't ready. I will find the ones who can help, and we'll rebuild the legacies the previous generation of Heroes left behind."

That's some setting background for the game I'd like to run. It will be a PL8 supers-academy/Next-Gen campaign and I'm looking for 2-3 players. Original characters are welcome and encouraged ( since there are no more supers in the world!) and they should be all under the age of 20. If you'd like to modify an existing character, that would be ok too with my approval.The setting is well fleshed out with a few characters you may recognize with a twist, but lots of new and unexpected material since we've made The Freedom city setting our own. PM or post here your interest and we can discuss gaming styles and times.
