New Campaign Help

I am starting a new Campaign of M&M 2E and I have never DMed it before. I will have 4-5 PL10 characters likely a power-suit (Steam punk Iron-man), mimic (Sylar from heroes), illusionist, absorber (like absorbing man), and possibly a T1000 (Terminator 2)/ Colossus type characters. I want to have them dropped in the middle of a battle between 4 Abominations (Marvel) and 5 Power-suits. What levels should I make the abominations and the power-suits? I think 10 may be a bit high but 6 may be far too low I haven't done this before so I am not sure. Any help here would be appreciated. Thank you

The more I think about it the more confused I am getting. Any help here would be appreciated.

Well, have you looked over the minion rules? You can designate one powersuit guy and one abomination as the leaders, and have all the rest be minions. Then you can have all the villains be PL 10, but some of them would be easier to defeat than others.

I like that idea I may have more "advanced human" as a leader with powersuit minions or something like that. Great idea, I need to brush up on the rules.

no problem. I had some of the same problems creating encounters for the first couple of games I ran in M&M 2E, i'm still tweaking power of the opponents and ending up with some really brief combats.
