Names for Original-template villains

So here's the situation.

The PCs, needing backup before taking on the entire Egyptian pantheon, go to the local super-prison and offer to put in a good word for anyone who helps them in this mission. ("We're willing to go to your parole hearing and mention that you helped save the universe.") This technique worked for them when they had to destroy a few thousand little rock golems. (In the next two sessions to be written up.)

We had already established a character named Mister Mystery (before I know about the one in the Meta-4 timeline) with teleport and guns that can shoot spirits and undead things--the "dead Betsys" have Ghost Touch; Lady Hex is showing up (the PL 10 template version); Blue Murder (one of our NPCs gets sprung again; and they get Molotov, the fire mutant, and an Original.

And I'm riffing the dialogue, and the Original is... Well, it went something like this:

"I need my super suit."

"Why?"

"'Cause it's tough."

"Oh, it's like armor?"

"No, it's just tough. You get in a fight, someone blasts you, your clothes disintegrate, you don't want the ladies to see your...your whanger hanging out."

"Ah. Unstable molecules."

"Right. I guess. I bought it on Ebay."

"And what's your name?"

"I wanna be....Captain Tachyon!"

"That was your name?"

"No, it's my new name. I'm gonna do hero stuff now."

"Very well...Captain Tachyon."

"Oh--will I get to kill anyone?"

So Captain Tachyon has already helped out tremendously and I feel he should have some backstory and a former villain name.

Suggestions?

I mean, all of this was improvised because the player playing an Original character wasn't there.

Ok how's this -
In a former life as a villian he was know as Billy Bedlam (think if superman had crashed in redneck country not a corn field) and used his powers to create as much chaos and destruction as he could. Seeing as casuing alot of damage can be hard on the threads and all he got his suit off of ebay.

Now a much calmer guy - he wants to become a hero - if he doesn't wear a mask it could be fun to have him becoem some what unnerved if anyone refers to him as "Billy"

sounds like a fun game
Cheers

Thanks. I like that--though I already have a PC named Billy.

And I feel like a dolt--I meant to post this in the GM section. Or Roll Call, even. But in Fan Resources, it's totally out of place.

I'll try and get it moved.

Alternative to Billy Bedlam. (Same background.)

Kletis, King of Kaos.

That, or Buford. (Did I mention I live in Alabama?)
I want to see everything there is, and then I want to see more.

Live long, and prosper. (Makes the Vulcan hand gesture)

How bout Bud Bedlam?
You must be proud, bold, pleasant, resolute,
And now and then stab, as occasion serves.

He landed in da country in da year 1972 and was adopted by a touched woman named Clair Taylor. Clair and her 'usband Nick dey was crim'nals, stealin' robbin' and even hurtin' people. Lil' Jace was brought up ta thin that was da way it should be...

You are going to do the Redneck History of the Superhero Universe, aren't you?

Prologue

Oh, chillin, dere be a lot o' t'ings dat happen in this world, you betcha. And I sees'em all....good, bad, touched, clever, da whole dam' t'ing. But I ain't allowed to do nothin' 'bout it.

'Cause I is... Da Watcher. You betcha.

End Prologue

Though it gives me this idea for a character with uncontrollable postcognition: he or she touches you, he or she knows your whole life history, even the things you don't. Oh, and for self-protection, one little bit of swamp magic: he or she can lay a geas on you not to tell anyone about him or her.

A character like that is your omniscient narrator, living in a hut in the swamp because the pressure of all those lives got to be too much in the city, but maybe a mystical character knows.

While that character can help out the PC with the amnesia or whatever, if the news gets out, well, somebody will show up and won't be happy with what they learn. And will kill the postcognitive. ("The past of some folks lies in the future.") But might be a useful character when it's time for the revelation of a history.

And thanks to this, I will always imagine that character as a redneck.

Hehehehehehehehehehe I love omniscent Rednecks. They rock.

Ran into one in a White Wolf game, guy was annoying but my character (and me) liked him. Everyone else wanted to ditch him, but I loved his little jokes...

"Ya know da bes' thin about turtle soup? It comes in is own bowl!"

Everyone hated him but me.
I am glad for that, because right when I was about to get splattered we learned who he really was. He was the Oracle of Time made manifest, and he put the smack down on that Black Spiral Dancer for me.
