Yup, good fight.

One thing on Captain Amazing's build, can you really take the Normal Identity Drawback when all of your powers come from a Device? I thought Normal Identity was meant to reflect that a character actually transformed somehow (like with Billy Batson and Captain Marvel)?

I believe it's more to reflect that outside of the suit he has no powers. Like with Iron Man. As just tony stark, he's a pushover and has not powers, other then intelligence, but in the suit(which takes time to get to/put on) he is powered. The same applies of Capt. Marvel because of the need to transform. According to the book, it has to be something that can be prevented somehow.
Maturity is knowing you were an idiot in the past. wisdom is knowing you'll be an idiot in the future. Common sense is trying not to be an idiot right now.

Fair enough. I'd have thought that buying the suit as a Device would cover the cost reduction, but I notice that the Battlesuit template has the same Drawback.

It happens automatically without the need for use of a hero point. If you spend a HP to recover from stunned, you don't forfeit any actions and can act normally.

so noted.

in which case, for deleted footage

round 2:
King recovers, and attacks: 12. miss

round 3:
King recovers, and attacks: 25. hit
captain amazing rolls tou: 18. HP to recover. cap is bruised, but no longer stunned

 well, with those eleted actions now retconned in, King pts up a decent performance rather than being a punching bag

Well, naturally Captain Amazing had the fight footage edited to paint him in the best possible light (and his opponent in the worst).

 A former Generation X student and newest members of the Loners, Hollow (formerly Penance) has a pretty convoluted and messy backstory, which I have no interest in getting into. just know that due to past trauma, Hollow's personality tends towards semi-feral and animalistic, and since her inception has been slowly regaining the humanity that was stolen from her.

 just a quickie edit to explain her damage aura. basicly, hollow's skin is extremely tough and composed of a semi-organic material such that just about every contour on her body is razor sharp, thus her 'clothes' are more for your protection than out of any sense of modesty

 everyone's favorite supervillain turned superhero turned villain again, Sandman's a great mix of brick/metamorph, especially when you remember he's predominanly a brick. I also tacked on Growth, as Sandman tends to get a lot bigger when in the thick of it (and through clever application of elongation, you can give the illusion of his getting even bigger)

 Harvey was a fairly interesting challenge, as I started him out at PL 8, before whittling him down to PL7, before dropping him further to PL6, and that was before I had to mix points around so he could afford Avenger (coming up in the next post). as it stands, i think this gets across washed up superhero as well as 'somewhat decent lawyer'

That Hollow is an interesting character. It seems like you convert a lot of obscure and strangely cool characters I've never even heard of. Harvey Birdman and Avenger are pretty cool too, although I don't know if being a laywere or not would require a benefit feat. Also, it looks like you didn't include the strength penalty for being Small on Avenger. Anyhow, they will both come in useful once I get deeper into my upcoming Laugh Riot and ensuing storylines.

thanks. you'd be surprised just how many b or even c-listers can make for potential PC's.

and, for those who remember my promise to stat out every last Master of Evil, I'm still working on that, but now I'm also taking on the challenge of statting out almost every hero who's been an Avenger.

Why did I just admit to such a gi-normous challenge? well, i did some calculations, and I've already done almost half the roster, So I figure why not do the rest?

so, that means you can expect to see

Hawkeye
hercules
vision
black knight
mantis
moondragon
hellcat
two-gun kid
ms. marvel
jocasta
pulsar
starfox
mockingbird
war machine
thing
firebird
moon knight
human torch
living lightning
machine man
namor
marrina
d-man
gilgamesh
mr fantastic
invisible woman
quasar
sersi
stingray
rage
crystal
justice
silverclaw
ant-man
jack of hearts
sentry
echo
ares
dr. strange
iron fist

and of course, Jarvis

That just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside! Jarvis was always one of my favorite supporting cast members. Liek Alfred to Batman except he had to deal with a team! Some of his more interesting Tigra moments just cracked me up!
