Notes
 Here is Bioforce-Rebooted version. She has a few minor changes to her stats, from lowering her Dexterity by 2 to increase her Constitution by 2, increasing her Fortitude save, lowering her Force Field by 1 rank to acount for her higher Constitution, increasing her Regeneration ranks so she heals faster and giving a new drawback, from Misfits and Menaces: DOOM. The new drawback simply means when she is subjected to the Healing power, it instead acts as a Nauseate of the same rank, as her own body's healing factor is overloaded by the introduction of even faster healing, inflicting pain upon her.

 Her lifeforce is enhanced to such a degree she can survive almost any attack on her fortitude. She heals due to her regeneration at these rates: Bruised: once per standard action, Injured: once per round, Staggered: once per minute, Unconscious: once per round, and Disabled: once per 20 minutes. She heals 1 Ability damage per 5 minutes. She can fire off up to two bio-energy blast at once, at two different targets. She can focus this energy around her fists and feet for devistating strikes. When tapping into her bio-energy powers, she automatically raises a force field of blue energy. While she taps into her own bio-energy to fuel these powers, it doesn't drain or lower it, as she somehow has an almost limitless supply.

 She has almost all of the basic feats for Kung Fu, except for Startle as she refuses to use intimidation on anyone. She has some more advanced combat techniques she has learned from Master Lee, including extensive unarmed combat and the ability to take on more than one opponent at a time. These have served her well so far and hopefully will serve her better in the future. The majority of her skills are from both her training at Master Lee's school and her few short weeks on the street. Her Knowledge [life sciences] is from her love of biology and exceling in the subject at school. Strange considering the nature of her alternation and powers.

 Her secret past will come back to haunt her, the scientists are going down the list of children from each year. They are almost up to the year she was born in and it is only a matter of time til she will have to confront them and learn the truth about how she gained her powers. When this happens, there is no telling what she will do the men responsible.

Description of Powers:Her natural bio-energies have been enhanced to high levels and are still growing, the limits unknown at this time. This normally manifest as powerful blast of glowing blue energy while being surrounded by a blue energy field. Her body heals at an exceptional rate, requiring an hour at most to heal completely from even the most severe wounds normally. If she concentrates a little the energy can be focused around her fists and feet to enhance her unarmed strikes. Her meditation training and stubborn strength of will make it difficult to read her mind or affect her mentally.

One major problem is she can't regulate this power on her own. Without the bio-regulator armband Daedalus created for her it will flare out of control. When doing so the force field automatically goes up and random energy blast go off in several directions at full power. This isn't a constant effect, but she can never predict when it will happen without her armband on. The strong nature of her regenerative abilities have a severe side-effect which she is unaware of yet. Any form of healing power, beyond basic medical treatment, causes a painful overload, inducing great pain as her body tries to adjust to the greater healing speed.

History:
Growth Through Pain
Britney showed great potential from an early age, being a smart and gifted child. Unfortunately this drew the attention of those were resented her for her natural gifts. Doing well in school was like a giant billboard for the bullies, as they began to pick on her on a regular basis. She endured the taunts and teasing, not wishing to cause any trouble. Running became a regular thing for her, as he tried to outpace the bullies as they would chase her after school. Years pasted and she still was forced to endure the relentless attacks on her, both physical and verbal. Several of the bullies were relentless, giving chase and not giving up no matter how fast she ran from them. Despite her great endurance and speed, she sometimes tired and slowed down too soon. She began to come home with minor cuts and bruises, even one time a black eye caused by the biggest of the bullies.

No matter what, Britney simply wished to leave the matter the between her and the bullies. But her parents brought the matter before the principal, showing evidence of the kids which have been bullying their daughter for so long. The school could do nothing, as the evidence was hearsay and no witnesses would come forward against the little thugs. The principal sympathized with their situation, but was bound by the law despite his own feelings on the matter. He did direct them to a place which could help Britney learn how to defend herself, Master Lee's School of Self Defense. At least it was something, as the law helped to shield bullies like these again and again. As soon as Britney took a step into the school, she as in awe as she saw what several of the students were doing and the skill they possessed.

The owner of the dojo, Master Lee, seemed to have an unusual ability to sense things about people, feeling the pain from young Britney. How she didn't wish to be attacked anymore, but also didn't wish to hurt others, knowing how it felt. Placing a hand on her shoulder, he explained that his training was to be used for defense, not to start fights or push people around. Finally relaxing, Britney took to the training like a fish to water. Time passed quickly and just one short month later she had made exceptional progress. Even the meditation training, which some students had trouble with, seemed like fun to Britney, allowing to her to focus her thoughts more easily and another thing at which she excelled. Sometimes the lessons were hard on her, they would have to be to help her learn and grow, she kept at it with a spirit and determination rarely seen in anyone, let alone a girl of only 7 years of age.

Developing her body, mind and spirit through the training, she developed a sense of self confidence she had never had before. She learned to stand up for herself when needed and when to simply avoid a fight, like she had been forced to in the past. But this would be her undoing, as new elements soon came into her and her family's lives, elements which didn't care about the feelings of a little girl or the worry of loving parents.

Wolf Pack Closing In
The Timbers family was one of the few all-white families in the Lincoln area of Freedom City, standing out and drawing attention. Yet despite this, they had good jobs and tried their hardest to give their daughter a good life. Even moving to one of the safer areas of Lincoln shortly after the birth of their little girl. Still, the violence in the area, along with the gangs who were forming, was bound to catch up with them, sooner or later. The newest gang to move into the area, the Wolf Pack, were aggressive and went out of their way to harass the locals. They prefered to do what they called "hunting" by night, staying off the streets during the day and thus avoiding more attention from the police. Not that the police would do anything about them, their reputation of using lethal force and attacking in large groups keeping them wary of even going into the area.

The Wolf Pack had for the time being overlooked Britney, seeing her as a shy little girl, not worth the trouble of messing with, a waste of time. But the young girl's growing confidence emboldened her, as one day she was walking home from school, making the fateful descission to take a shortcut through a nearby alleyway. It seemed Fate had plans for her, as this fateful trip would lead to trouble for years to come. Just as she got a foot into the alley, several of the Wolf Pack were hanging out, bidding their time and waiting for the night to fall. But upon seeing such a little girl on her own, appearing defenseless and perfect prey, they got other ideas of how to pass the time.

Although she was 8 years old by this time, Britney still was scared as the 4 young men began to circle her, just like a pack of wolves on the hunt. But the words of Sifu Lee came to mind, as she began to breath slowly and calmed her mind, focusing on the task at hand. Just as one lunged straight for her, she deftly sidestepped the attack, sending the guy plowing into his buddy just behind her. Two of them continued to circle her, actually growling as they tried to get her cornered. Just then, the same thug tried to lunge at her once again, this time from her right side thinking to catch her off-guard. Bad move, as in one swift and practiced move, she slammed him to the ground with a powerful crescent kick, stunning him to the pavement.

Taking the first advice of Sifu Lee to heart, she knew it was time to run instead of staying to fight. Taking advantage of their momentary confusion, she saw her opening and bolted towards the exit of the alleyway in a mad dash. Getting past the thugs, she ran with all of her strength til she was home and safe. She couldn't believe what had happened, scared by the attack but also thrilled. She had been able to defend herself against a group of guys several years her elder, she knew now she could take on the bullies at school without worry. Back at the school, Master Lee saw something new in her eyes, a fire burning with greater intensity than before. Something which was driving her, pushing her to greater heights than before. He had seen it before in some of past students. He only hoped it wouldn't lead to trouble, both for the young girl and her family.

Blue Energy Life, Wolf Pack Revenge
It had been almost 6 years since that fateful day, as Britney's skills grew and she was one of Master Lee's top students. Yet her confindence had grown into brash cockiness, as she was too overconfident to put in charge of other students just yet. Despite all of the meditation training she had over the years, Britney was still a teenager and gave into her frustration. Acting on her emotions of feeling held back, she stormed out of a lesson early one day, heading towards home in a huff.

But not paying attention to where she was going and caught up in her own world, she didn't realize it when she ended up in the same alleyway from 6 years ago. It seems the Wolf Pack had grown, not only in numbers, but in tactics, since that day so long ago. As she looked around, she spoted only 4 members in the alley, thinking it would be even easier than when she was a little kid, her skills and abilities having grown a lot. But as she went into a combat stance, she let her guard down to anything unseen, as up on the fire escape 6 more Wolf Pack members lied in wait. Suddenly a rain of bricks and pipes came crashing down on her, narrowly avoiding a solid blow to her head. She couldn't believe she had made such a rookie mistake, not expecting an attack from another direction.

In pain and with several cuts and bruises, she dug her way out of the rubble, only to find herself surrounded and outnumbered 10-to-1, at least. Still slowed by the injuries from the sneak attack, the gang members proceeded to kick and hit here repeatedly with pipes and chains, trying to keep her on the ground and unable to fight back. Her vision started to blur, she felt like she was beginning to lose consciousness. But fear of how her parents would be if she died then and there caused something new to spark in Britney. Just as a new surge of energy seemed to come over her, the gang members seemed to back off, as if afraid of something. Opening her eyes, Britney couldn't believe what she was seeing, as she noticed the reason why they had backed off.

A strange glowing aura of an unknown blue energy was covering her body, her wounds already seeming to begin to heal, much faster than any normal human possibly could. Standing up in shock, it seems the gang members had gotten over their own, as they launched another wave of attacks upon her. Britney expected pain but the blows seemed to glance off her her, leaving her unharmed and with no pain. The situation of the attack, of how they tried to kill her in cold blood, sparked a new found rage within her. Not thinking clearly anymore, she gave into the rage and launched into a wave of attacks upon the gang members. The strange energy which surrounded her seemed to be focused into every single punch, every single kick she made. The gang members feel one after another, til the last one was left standing before an enraged Britney and frozen in fear.

Finally the fighting had brought the attention of the police, who came upon the scene after Britney was gone. They found the unconscious and severely beaten gang members, still laying in the alleyway. Rusing home, Britney had no idea of what happened or knew what to think of the strange energy. By the time she got home, most of her injuries were fully healed and no proof was left of the attack except for some tears in her shirt and slacks. The Wolf Pack on the other hand didn't care what new power she had, just that they needed to get revenge on this girl, the same little girl who had fought against them for the past 6 years and whom had beaten them and escape every time. The gang members in the alleyway were only a distraction as several others went to Britney's home while she was occupied. Britney couldn't believe it as she came upon the scene, several firetrucks were at her home, the building ablaze and the area cordoned off by the police. She tried to force her way through, to reach her parents, crying out for them but with a feeling of helplessness. It was too late though, as the authorities confirmed later. They had been stabbed to death, murdered in cold blood in their very own living room, the marks still identifiable despite the fire. It seems the fire was set as a way to try and cover up the murder, done sloppily and quickly, without thought of being caught or not.

Lost and Alone
The police were unusually adept in their investigation, finding DNA evidence in the driveway which they were able to identity the gang members involved through. They were charged with 1st degree murder and tried as adults, but this gave Britney little comfort. For everything she had cared about and those closest to her, were gone. All thanks to her cockiness and drawing the wrath of the Wolf Pack. Both her parents had been only children and her grandparents had died several years ago, leaving her with no living relatives. Taken to police headquarters til they could figure out what to do with her, she heard talk about child welfare, being put into foster homes. Britney became scared, not knowing anything beyond living with her parents and not wishing to be placed with strangers. She ran for it while the police were distracted, too quick on foot for the police to catch her. But this just lead to more hardship, her life hitting a new low once again.

Scrambling with everything she had, she was able to dart into an abandoned building just ahead of the police patrol. Seeing it as least a room over her head for the night, she wondered what tomorrow would bring as she drifted off to sleep. The hard lessons just kept on coming, as she found out the trouble with living on the streets, having to scrounge for even a bite to eat. The newness of her powers, along with fear, stress and fatigue, made it where she didn't have them under control. She surged at times, firing off bolts of the strange energy at random without warning, each time forcing her to find a new place to stay to keep ahead of the authorities. Scared, confused and suffering from severe fatigue, she thought it would be impossible to seek help, due to the danger of even being around her. But someone was watching out for her, as Fate had different plans for this young girl.

Time passed, as Britney got no better at controlling her powers, eating from dumpsters just to survive and even the other homeless avoiding her. Missing person posters were plastered over several parts of the area, showing her face as the police were still looking for her. She began to become paranoid, seeing those around her as police in disguise, just waiting to ship her off to some home to live with strangers. Til finally, on one fateful night, she ended up digging in the dumpster of a local restaurant. Master Lee was out, having dinner with some friends, when he sensed a familiar presense behind the building. Excusing himself, he went to check it out, only to be shocked by what he saw.

He found Britney there, digging through the refuse just for something to eat. Moving nearer, he couldn't believe such a talent girl had been driven to this. Calling out to her, she looked up in fear, wondering if the police had finally caught up to her. But upon seeing the familiar face of her Sifu, she broke down, all that had happened over the past 2 weeks finally hitting her at once. She ran crying into his arms, hyterical from the lack of sleep recently. Finally calming her down, she began to explain the tale of what had happened to her parents, of how she had come to be there since she last saw him. Hearing of her powers, he didn't looked shocked, always having a feeling of something powerful within this young girl. As he called Daedalus of the Freedom League, wishing him to come have a meeting with her, she began to freak once again. Master Lee held her tight and assured her everything would be alright, she wouldn't be placed into foster care. Taking her back to the school, he let her get cleaned up and found some new clothes for her to wear, making her a meal and letting her rest for a while, so she would be prepared for what was to come next.

Help From An Unlikely Source
The next day, Daedalus showed up, meeting Britney and talkig to her for a while about the nature of her powers, among other things. All the while he was secretly scanning the energies she was giving off, shocked by what he found. It seems, for reasons unknown, her own lifeforce, her bio-energy, had grown out of control and was still growing. Manifesting in ways he had never seen before, Daedalus had a long talk with Master Lee upon the matter. Finally it was decided that setting her up at the Claremont Academy would be the best thing for now. At least there she could feel safe and be around other kids like herself. They talked with her and explained about the Claremont Academy, listening intently she agreed to go, as long as they didn't try to place her in foster care. Several days passed without another word on the matter, Britney wondering if they forgot, as she stayed with Master Lee. Not knowing that even now Daedalus was working on a unique surprise for her.

It seemed Britney wasn't the only one who had this unique form of bio-energy powers. An ex-member of the Wolf Pack had them as well, just having turned 16 recently. Contained within a specialized jail cell, because even though he quit the Wolf Pack, he was still extremely violent and prone to lashing out at others over the most minor of slights. Daedalus was the one who had been called in to design his jail cell, allowing him to put the research into designing a bio-regulator armband for Britney, to help her control her powers until she could develop it on her own.

As she was being shown around the school grounds, one of the staff generous enough to do so, Britney didn't think this place was so impressive like she had heard. All she could do was worry about having one of her surges, of how she could hurt a fellow student or a teacher. With the tour over, she was shown to her new dorm room, one which she was sharing with a girl her age by the name of Lisa Vernon. But she spotted Daedalus waiting for her and wondered what was going on, that little bit of extra stress triggering another power surge. Daedalus ran swiftly to her side and clamped a brone-colored armband onto her left wrist, all the while Britney wondering what he was thinking.

But the surge suddenly died down without incident, leaving her looking upon Daedalus in shock. "It was supposed to be a surprize gift for you I've been working on. Guess it isn't much of a surprise anymore." he said with a joking tone. As she smiled, hugging the [relatively] large man, she thanked him over and over again, tears streaming down her face. As they said their goodbyes, Britney turned to see that all of her bags were empty and her new bed was set up with fresh sheets. "Hi, I'm Lisa. I saw what happened. I know what it is like to find yourself with powers you can't control. If you need to talk anytime, I'm here for you." said Lisa, as she pointed on her own silver bracelet, this one upon the girl's right wrist. Britney smiled and thanked her, overwhelmed by all the help others were giving her. At first glance, she didn't think going here would be any fun or help for her condition. But now she knew it wouldn't be so bad, as she had a new friend who had something in common with her.

Secret History
Unbeknown to anyone to anyoned outside of the upper government in Freedom City, there was a local hospital that had been commendered by a criminal group, using it as a front ofr their insidious activities. Rogue scientists and doctors in the employ of the Power-House had some radical ideas, ones of how to create new types of super-beings. But the Power-House boss didn't wish to take a chance on it, already making a tidy sum on their current methods. They were brushed aside for their ideas, how to use different methods to give exotic powers and make whole new packages for the customers of the Power-House to choose from. From bio-energy to cosmic energy, psychic powers and more, they saw a world of exotic abilities they hadn't been able to recreate so far just waiting to be opened to them.

They kept their actions highly covert, with hidden rooms being built into the hospital and the regular staff under a form of mind control. They were in business for over 18 years, beofre finally the authorities stumbled upon their operation and shut them down hard, with only some of the scientists and doctors escaping imprisonment. Over 3 dozen newborns were experimented upon while in the hospital, sent home with their unsuspecting parents and not knowing what would happen next. Some of them gained powers over the years, normally in early puberty, others came down with strange disorders and illnesses later in life, while some of them died outright from bizzare conditions within just a few short weeks of being brought home.

Young Britney was one of the fortunate ones, having been exposed to an exotic energy form, designed by the mad scientist to augment the natural bio-energies of a living body. Exposed to these for two days, it seemed she was unaffected by the experiment, til finally the stress of the attack by the Wolf Pack and thoughts of dying triggered someting within her. Her enhanced bio-energies awakened but too strong for her to control yet. Daedalus scans haven't detected the genetic tinkering yet, which would need a full DNA analysis and a lot of painful test for Britney.

It seems the threat was far from over, as those few scientists and doctors who evaded the authorities had escaped witht he records of all those whom they had experimented upon. They are out there still, watching and waiting, going through the list of children who were still known to be alive, wishing to finish their work and finally prove their theories to the higher ups of the Power-House. What this means for Britney and the other children who survived is yet to be determined.

Description:Britney is a tall girl for her age, being 5'6" at only 14 years of age. She has a healthy build and strong athletic muscle tone, weighing in at 115 lbs. She has intense blue eyes whose gaze can unsettle almost any opponent, along with deep blue hair as a side-effect of her powers, formerly brown. She has a healthy tan with a few minor scars on her arms from the martial arts training.

She prefers to wear simple outfits, with blue jeans, a tee-shirt and good pair of tennis shoes most of the time. She is somewhat of a tomboy, not liking jewelry or make-up for the most part. She can always be seen wearing her armband, even when swimming as it is water-proof. She has been given a normal student training uniform for now.

Notes
 Here is Silver Moon-Rebooted version. This version has a fleshed out and more detailed background, greater skill with the tiar and disc, her Silver Tiara Attack isn't an automiss on a roll of 1 and she is luckier than before. Also she can't use her Silver Tiara Attack or Moon Healing if she can't both speak and gesture. The coin which Mark found is known as the Twisted Fate Coin, capable of granting any wish but always twisting it as much as possible. So be careful if you find a golden coin with the image of a tiny angel with horns on the front and "Good for One Wish" written on the back.

 Many of the skills as Silver Moon she can use in her normal form as Maria. This is shown by ability scores, skills and feats. She is a skilled fighter and extremely strong willed for someone her age. This is a part of the wish, as a way to help protect her even when in her normal identity. Without her pendant she can't transform into Silver Moon. This is a complication for the most part, as she won't lose it that often and only as part of an adventure plot. Plus it tends to draw her towards it or find ways to be taken back to her.

 As Silver Moon she has a lot of power and abilities which make her seem much stronger. This is shown by her PL and PP difference. But even as Maria she still has a lot of power and using her throwing disc [heavier than normal frisbee] can be dangerous. Especially with her skill at aiming them. The wish which Mark made can not be reverse by anything short of a Plot Device, not even a PL X character can reverse it. Plus reversing the wish will endanger reality itself. Thus it is likely she is here to stay, unless some twisted cosmic being tries to manipulate others into reversing the wish.

Description of Powers:Maria can transform by calling out "Silver Moon Power!" into the superheroine, Silver Moon. As Silver Moon she is faster and more agile than normal, able to make leaps which defy gravity and run much faster. Her mind is shielded from mental powers even in normal form though, making finding out her identity that way hard. She can sense when evil is around and partially the degree of it as well, alerting her to trouble.

She can hurl her tiara which spins so rapidly as to appear to be a silver glowing disc. It can hit with intense power, extend and enwrap around a target or stun them with precise ability. She can also summon forth her Silver Moon staff to fight with, normally reserved for when fighting incorporal enemies, as she likes to stay at a distance from her foes. By focusing the light from the gem in the middle of her tiara she can heal others, as well as banish evil creatures or remove any mind-influencing affects from such beings on others.

Silver Moon is constantly surrouned by a silver aura of energy, which helps to shield her from harm. She can also manifest large white angelic wings from her back at will to fly with. Due to the nature of the wish she has a lot of power for someone her age, able to take on beings more powerful than one would expect from a girl her age, let alone an experienced hero.

History:
A Simple Coin Leads to Big Changes
A guy with little going for him in his life, things always seemed to work against Mark, no matter what he tried. A bit of a slacker, he couldn't find a job to fit his skills, not in the small town he lived in. Forced to live with friends just to get by, he couldn't even rely on his parents. A few years ago they both died, the result of a car accident with most details covered up by the police from the public. Mark knew it though, a drunk off-duty cop had slammed into them hard and gotten away with it because of his buddies on the force. Not even his love of comics, anime and manga could help him out, as the comic book stores in the area weren't hiring, business being slow.

But he kept his hopes up, thinking that things would take a turn for the better soon. Til finally the breaking point came in his life, as his friends were having finacial troubles and couldn't afford to keep him around without a source of income. He was given an ultimatum, one which didn't seem doable at the time. Either find a job in the next few weeks to help pay the bills or he would have to move out. He tried his best, but no one in the area seemed to be hiring at the time or required him to have experience in the business to be hired. After being turned down for another job once again, Mark wandered the streets of the city, trying to of something, anything which he could do. As he began to wonder about heading back to the apartment, something strange happened. A voice in his head told him to do just that, but as he started to head back he zoned out and ended up taking a shortcut through an alleyway he normally tried to avoid.

It was early in the evening already, the shadows in the alley would normally have been too much to see by. But sunlight shone down just enough for him to see by, enough to avoid banging into the clutter and debrie. As it shone down and he looked at the ground, not wishing to step on a nail or something sharp, something glinted brightly. A small piece of metal, just barely noticable, yet drawing Mark's attention to it. As he bent over and picked up the piece of metal without trouble, he couldn't tell what it was, the grit and grim covering it too well. After cleaning it for a minute, he finally saw what it was he held. A large golden coin, something which a museum would probably pay good money for. He thought his prays had been answered, but something else on the coin drew his attention. An image of an angel, one with tiny horns on its head, was depicted on the front o fhte coin. Flipping it over, he found just one simple sentance written on the back. "Good for One Wish."

Mark became crestfallen, thinking it was just a joke coin from one of the magic shops in the aeaa. He began to get ready to toss it aside, figuring if the original owner didn't care for it, why should he. But something tugged at him, his own curiosity and lack of anything else to do right then. Finally given in to his own urge, he decided to make a wish just for the heck of it, if nothing happened he could simply have it checked to see if it was worth anything. "Something I've always wished for, to be like those anime superheroes, having special powers to fight evil with. Just like in all those animes and manga I love so much. That would be such a great thing to have, not only would I have fame, being able to fight supercriminals and save people's lives. But I also wouldn't have to worry about a place ot stay anymore, nor about getting a job. I wish that could happen." he said outloud, cuckling at the end at the thought of his wish coming true.

Wishes Are Tricky Business
But despite all of his geek culture knowledge and having read stories with genies and wish granting items before, Mark didn't pay attention to the coin, nor did he fully think his wish through and what it could mean for him. He had begun daydreaming while making the wish, simply staring up at the early evening sky and marvelling at the full moon which was just barely visable. If he had been paying attention to the unusual coin, he would have seen the little angel with horns, grinning with glee. The coin started to glow with a brilliant golden light, but what brought his attention back to the world around him was a burning pain in the palm of his hand. The coin was heating up, getting hotter and hotter as the energy increased within it. "This coin is something freaky, I'm out of here." he said to herself, attempting to move his arm to throw the coin away.

But his motor function weren't responding, his own body, every limb, frozen numb by some unseen force. "What the heck is going on here!" he cried out, fearing the answer would be something he wouldn't like. A tiny voice spoke up finally, coming from the coin. "As you asked, it is being done. Your wish is even now being granted, the universal magical energies are gathering and building, as they adjust your reality and search for the path of least resistance to work through. As it has done countless times before and will countless times more." Mark couldn't believe his ears, this must be some prank or he got metallic poisoning from contact with the coin, it couldn't be real. "But it was just a joke, don't you understand a joke when you hear one. None of this can possibly be real." he said to the coin, still in shock and not believing he was responding to a coin.

As he looked around and surveyed the area, looking for camera men, people hiding out, something to indicate he was just on some weird television show. But as he did so, what he saw made him begin to think this was all very real. His surroundings began to shimmer around him, like a haze or desert mirage. "Now what?" he asked the little angel on the coin in a worried tone, knowing he wouldn't like the answer even before he heard it. "As I stated before, the magic is searching to find a way to place you in this reality with as little change as needed. There is no stopping what is going on now, you should just relax and accept your fate, mortal." she said, without even as so much as blinking. That is, if she even could blink, thought Mark. But Mark began to recognize a place which he had visited a few times in the past, as a building began to form around him. Worry overcame every part of his being, as he was standing in the orphanage in Freedom City's Midtown area.

The fear of why he was in this place was replaced by something new. His clothes began to shift around him on his body, as first his shirt seemed to change color and form. He recognized it immediately, as blue and white sailor fuku top, just like the ones worn by many girls in anime series and in mangas. "Now wait just a minute, this isn't what I meant at all. I wanted to be someone like Yusuke, Kiba from Wolf's Rain, even Ranma. But not like Serena from Sailor Moon or Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura. Just how far will these changes go, will I have no family or friends left once I'm finished changing? No one will recognize me, what am I supposed to do now?" he said, beginning to cry as the changes continued before his eyes.

"As I said in the beginning, your wish is being granted in the way of least resistance for it to work. Since you are skinny for your age, it was much easier to make you smaller, than to try and bulk you up. Your parents have passed on from this world, what mortals call dead. So placing you into an orphanage was the easiest path, as it is nearly impossible to bring the dead back to life. And yes, your friends won't know who you were, as reality is being changed around you. Next time the opportunity presents itself, think your wish through before asking it." the little angel on the coin's head said in response. Suddenly his pant's legs began to change, flowing up his legs and freaking Mark out. All of this was too sureal for him to take in, just as a blue sailor fuku skirt formed around his legs and still was frozen in place.

The changes to his clothes began to speed up, as his socks shortened and changed to a clean white, while his soes turned into a simple pair of blue shoes sized for a girl. In pain as his body hadn't begun to change yet, he pleaded once again. "You have to make it stop before it is too late, there has to be something you can do." But his words once again fell on deaf ears. "I'm sorry, young one. But as I've stated, once the magic is unleased, it must do its work to completion. There is nothing I can do to stop it, nor to change the path it has chosen for you now." the little angel said from upon the coin's face, a look of sadness on her face for once.

But his clothing was only the start of the transformations awaiting him. As Mark sudden felt a pressure in his torso, as he shrank smaller and his shoulders narrowed rapidly. A sudden pinching sensation hit him, as his waist was pulled in and narrowed, just as his hips ballooned outward. The sensation of his butt being filled with something was too much, as this was the final straw for his fragile mind. Overwhelmed by all of the changes, his own mind tried to protect him, he blacked out, the world dimming from his sight before only darkness could be seen.

A New Reality, New Memories
Finally awakening after what felt like hours, Mark thought to himself about what a strange dream he must have had. Until he felt the cool air from the AC blowing over his legs, as he laid upon a soft surface. Things didn't feel right, yet at the same time they did. Starting to sit up, he felt something shift on his chest, a weight he never before knew. Looking down, he saw a skirt covering his legs partially, just like the skirt from that freaky dream! He started to freak out at what was happening, but something prevented him...her from doing so. New memories even now were forming in the new girl's mind, filling her in on the life she had lived in this changed reality.

As her memories came, she at least knew things about this life of hers. She was a 15 year old girl, Japanese American and named Maria Kuno. Her parents [these dual memories made it confusing at first] had moved to the United State, when she was only 2 years old. They raised her with some of the Japanese traditions, alongside American culture, so she would have a sense of heritage. Smart, she excelled in school, even being gifted with a natural agility and grace, one rarely seen in someone her age. She had many friends in the small town where she grew up, until the day her father was transfered. Off they went to live in Freedom City when she was only 11 years old, so her dad could work at the main office. She resented this at first, her dad had ripped her away from her friends, her life. But she would have to adjust, as things would never be the same again.

Maria was too shy at first to try and make new friends, keeping to her studies for the time being. But after a short while she began to open up, making new friends finally, even showing greater skill in her gymnastics class than before. Once again, things were going well in the young girl's life and it seemed like nothing could bring her down. Til tragedy struck, as both her parents were killed in a car jacking gone bad in the Fens, leaving her an orphan at the age of 13. Placed in the local orphanage for the time being, she began to show the classic signs of being depressed, even keeping to herself at school once again. Her old friends couldn't get through to her and anyone with eyes could see she was drifting away from what was helping her keep stable in this time of heartache.

Only something drastic, life-altering, would be able to snap her out of this state. And that is when Fate stepped in. A school field trip to the Freedom Museum, something she would have loved in the past, yet she seemed to walk about in a daze, following the other students without a word. But as they took the tour, something seemed to break through to her. A voice called out to her, one which seemed to be in her very mind. Telling her to come to a strange exhibit, one with artifacts found on the moon unlike anything seen before. The voice seemed able to influence her actions, to a degree, as she walked in a half-trance state, wandering away from her class and into the exhibit area. Before her were several objects displayed in a glass case, seeming to pulse with power as she gazed upon them. A golden pendant, one with a symbol of a full silver moon in the cent, a silver tiara with the same moon symbol in the center and a silver staff that possessed several symbols of the moon all along it. They gleemed in the moonlight, as if calling out to Maria.

But what happened next sealed her fate, as the glass case disolved around the objects, an unseen force affecting them. In a trance, she picked up the pendant and words came to her mind, ones which were old yet at the same time familiar to her. "Silver Moon Power!" came from her lips, as she came out of the trance and felt an energy surround her for a moment. A swirl of silver light surrounded Maria, materializing a costume around her. A sailor fuku, but one with a silver trim and knee-length boots, formed on her body and legs. Suddenly a glow came from the case once again, as the tiara appeared on her forehead and the staff in her right hand. None of this made any sense, as the confused girl looked around for an answer.

Once again, the strange voice spoke in her mind. "You, young one, are Silver Moon. The guardian of ancient powers from the moon, ones which even those who still live upon it have no idea once existed. You have been granted these powers, as they are your destiny. Use them to be a savior, to champion the innocent and fight evil in your world. From time to time, I will help you with advice. But you must learn how to be a true heroine on your own, if you are to succeed. For now, I bid you farewell. Good luck, Silver Moon." it said, just as Maria suddenly reverted to her normal form, the staff and tiara no where in sight, yet the pendant staying in the middle of her blouse. Was this all just a freaky daydream or something more? For now, she brushed it off and descided to get back to her school group.

Fate Intervenes to Help the New Heroine
As the images began to fade, Maria snapped out of her haze, still disoriented from being shown so many memories at once. The museum trip, it seems, had only been 4 days ago. Already her new self had trained some, gaining a little control over her new powers. At least the wish had come through on that part, to be made a hero [ine] like she had asked. Although definately not in the way she originally hoped. Although she would be going through high school all over again, at least this time she might be popular. Huh? Where had that thought come from? Already she was beginning to think like a teenage girl, scaring the part of her which had memories of growing up a boy. How would she deal with all of this, especially without parents to lean on and ask for help?

Mark/Maria was forced to quickly get use to the changes in her reality, the changes to her own mind helping some. The little coin angel hadn't lied at least, as it seems reality was changed to accomidate her new self. Her old friends never even knew a Mark Kenson and wondered what a high school girl like her was talking to them for. She was able to keep up in school, along with knowing who her new friends were, thanks to the memories of her new life. Although sometimes she thought they were only her friends out of pity, because of her being an orphan now. She began to slip into depression once again, not knowing what to do with her powers, as there were already so many heroes in the area. But Fate wasn't about to let her go just yet. Mark/Maria quickly got used to the changes in her reality, her old friends never even knew a Mark Kenson. Thanks to the memories of this new life she was able to keep up in school, along with knowing her new friends. Although it seemed they were only her friends out of pity, due to her being an orphan. On her way back to the orphange one day something directed her to go another route. Through an alleyway, she was wary but felt compelled to go along. Nothing happened in the alley but what she found on the other side would change her life once again.

On her way back to the orphanage one day, after spending some time at the mall with her friends, she felt like something was directing her to go another way. Through a nearby alleyway, she was wary, especially from past experience, but felt compelled to go none the less. She couldn't believe what she saw next, out on the street were Rant and Rave, fighting some members of the Next-Gen, causing trouble and endangering lives while trying to get away. Clutching her pendant to her chest, Maria cried out "Silver Moon Power!" and once again in a swirl of light became Silver Moon, champion of the innocent and fighter of evil. Rushing into the fight without a second thought, Sonic tried to tell the crazy girl to leave before she got hurt, thinking she was just some anime fan in a costume. Til she cried out "Silver Moon Tiara Attack!" and hurled her tiara at Rant, swirling silver light and knocking the thug out in one blow. He couldn't believe it, had something changed in the universe laws and no one told him? How could an anime magical girl be here and helping them out, was it a trap by Doc Otaku or something else?

Rant couldn't believe it, her brother taken out by a little girl with one attack. Putting down an illusion, she helped her brother up and covered their escape as they ran for it. Only to run right into Megastar, who easily subdued them just before the police finally arrived. Maria, still in her guise of Silver Moon, tried to sneak off, only to find it wasn't going to be that easy. Seven came over to talk to her, sensing a strong aura of magic around her. It didn't take much to get Maria to break down, finally agreeing to go with them to the Claremont Academy. Finally back at the Claremont Academy, in the office of Duncan Summers, she broke down and began to explain her story, all before the Next-Gen, Duncan Summers and his visiting daughter Callie, who all found it hard to believe.

They called in help to confirm her story, as Eldrich might be the only one skilled enough to pierce the veil of magic around her. As he probbed her magical aura and the history behind it, he stated her story was true down to the last word. Unfortunately the magic which had caused all of this was far beyond even Eldrich's skills to deal with, not without risking tearing reality apart or killing Maria in the process. She was stuck, stuck with no way back. Eldrich said that even other wish-granting level magic could possibly make such a drastic change once again, the amount used to alter reality on this level too unstable if more is introduced. The Silver Moon pendant was linked to Maria, as it would always find a way back to her no matter what. Upon hearing this, everyone agreed it would be best to set her up at the Claremont Academy, for her own good and so her powers couldn't fall into the wrong hands. In short order, she was set up in her own dorm room, with the orphanage being informed of her new arrangements. She was shown around the campus grounds by Serena, whom Maria at least had something in commmon with. At least now she had help to deal with her new world and life, more than she could say before.

Description:Maria is an exotic Japanese beauty, both part of the wish and gained from her mother in this reality. She is lithe but strong and agile for a girl her age. She has blue eyes, unusual for an Asian girl, along with blonde hair with silver streaks that go down to the middle of her back. She has one major trait which makes her stand out even more, a silver crescent moon symbol on her forehead, which is covered by the tiara when she is Silver Moon. She sometimes covers this up with a banddana.

Her normal outfit is a Japanese blue and white sailor fuku which she keeps as it was originally her mother's. She has other outfits which Serena has helped her to buy in the few days since she joined the Academy, but prefers to wear her sailor fuku during school hours. As Silver Moon she has a sailor fuku with silver trim, a silver skirt, silver knee-length boots, and a silver tiara. She can summon forth the Silver Moon staff at will, along with manifesting angelic white wings on her back when needed.

Notes
 Here is Undercover-Rebooted version. He is the same, stat wise, with an expanded background with fleshed out details. A police detective who trained from a young age. His skills and feats are from his intensive training for so long and he is one of the best detectives known. He is trained in Aikido as well as other techniques from various styles. His main form of offense is his police firearm, he is trained to be accurate and able to make trick shots others would think impossible.

 His Shapeshifting is normally used just for appearance and to adjust his size or bulk. It can be used for Enhanced physical stats or even Enhanced Charisma, sometimes increasing the density of his bones for a Strike or his flexibility to fit through spaces. It is limited though to taking the appearance of people, although he can come up with generic human forms as needed. He also takes on the genetics of such forms, becoming genetically female while in a female form, etc. He is powerful but doesn't reach his Damage cap with what he has, sometimes he can get additional gear for an operation as needed. He can simulate the form of someone 8' tall with Enhanced Strength to reach his Damage cap as well.

 One major change in his background is that his brother Clark was framed instead of just being the wrong place at the wrong time. It is unknown why the Power-House did this and that is part of the mystery which Undercover is trying to solve. You decided why his brother was framed when you use him, be creative.

Description of Powers:Due to the genetic changes down to his DNA Paul can change his shape and form into any other person or even generic people for disguises. This extends down to his genetic level though, so taking on the appearance of someone elderly while lower his physical abilities and increases his mental ones. While becoming female in form lowers his strength some but increases his agility and flexibility, as well as giving him the emotions and feelings of a female while in such a form. He can adapt some limited abilties from ther person he is copying, including shrinking to become a kid or teen or growing to become a small giant.

The force had a special protective vest designed for him which can adapt to his shapeshift like his normal clothing can. Normally it is kept under his dress shirt to keep it hidden.

History:
Family Tradition
Coming from a long line of police officers, dating back several generations back to his great-grandfather and up to his father now. Paul had a proud tradition to live up to, but was a smart kid. He wished to be something ore than just a beat cop, seeing greater goals in his future. He always took advanced courses in high school any time he could, than at college took courses to continue his preparation for his ultimate goal. Police detective, one who helped to solve crimes and not just work a beat. His father was simply glad his son was going into the family business, even if he was going to be a detective instead of a beat cop. It was still on the side of law and justice, protecting the innocent, like his ancestors before him.

His hard work ethic, along with his natural abilities, helped him to pass the police academy with flying colors in short order. His drive, intelligence and natural skill brought him the attention he wished for, getting him quickly promoted to detective. Soon his cases were becoming known far and wide, being considered one of the best in the FCPD [Freedom City Police Department]. His carreer was a dream come true, going great, til one thing went wrong in his life, one which he is still working to fix.

Clark, his brother, was always a good person, helping out where he could and working for charity organizations. But his luck was the worst Paul had ever seen, always seeming to be at just the wrong place at the wrong time, over and over again despite trying otherwise. Never charged with a crime, he was asked as a witness in many crimes, which would be his undoing. One day, just as he was entering a local store, a man caring a gun came running out and shoved it into Clark's hand, before running away and leaving Clark to hold the bag. Clark was in shock, as he was cuffed by the police who showed up less than a minute later, seeing him holding the gun and assuming he was the robber. There were no eye-witnesses to prove his innocence, the store owner having been knocked outcold without seeing the true robber's face. Things went from bad to worse, as the trial was done based on the little evidence they had. Which strangely enough only Clark's fingerprints were found on the gun, no one else's, despite the robber not wearing any gloves or covering his hands.

With the speed with which the trial was over, Paul believed that Clark was being set-up somehow, as he was sentanced to 10 years for armed robbery, despite all of his past good work and no pior record. Just as Clark was being taken away, Paul vowed to prove his innocence, no matter what the cost. As he began to work harder than ever before, Paul set out to refine his detective skills in new ways, all ot track down and locate the real robber. But it seemed that tracking this thug down wouldn't be as hard as he originally thought, as he had left a trail behind him, including bragging to some local toughs about how he got a kid to take the rap for what he did. Upon hearing this, Paul didn't know if he could restain himself when he finally faced this guy.

Fateful Encounter, New Enemies Made
Locating the warehouse on the Boardwalk which his leads directed him to, Paul slipped in unnoticed, the dock workers seeming busy with work. Sneaking up on the real robber, he couldn't believe it had been this easy. It was just some local thug who worked for an unnamed group and should be a piece of cake to to take out. But as he was about to ambush the guy, he was cold-cocked from behind by an unknown figure. As he was unconscious and defenseless, it seems the group who the thug works for were involved in more serious stuff than armed robbery, wishing to silence this snoop, least anything could be linked to them. Dousing him with some dangerous, experimental chemicals, they thought he would die from shock and gave him no further thought. He might very well have died that night, had it not been for some honest Boardwalk workers stumbling upon where he had been dumped, calling 911 and watching his vitals til help arrived.

As he was rushed to the closest hospital, his condition was at first critical, the chemicals causing a severe fever and wild fluctuation in his blood preasure. It took over 30 minutes before they were able to stabilize him and keep him alive. Days went by, as his body adapted to the strange chemicals in unknown ways. Upon waking, he was given the shocking news. The chemicals were not only untested, but mutagenic in nature. Someone was trying to develop something to create superpowered goons with. Analysis revealed that Paul's DNA structure was unstable now, slowly killing him unless something was done to aleviate the matter. The only thing available was an experimental treatment, one with an equal chance to save him or kill him outright. Paul still had much to do, taking the risk and got the treatment.

An array of treatment was done, involving radiation, repeated chemical baths and a radical gene treatment. Finally his condition was stabilized but not without an unexpected side-effect. He found that with some concentration, he could change his shape, form and even genetics by will alone. The police force gave him payed leave, as he was trained by specialists to help him learn how to control this new power. At first, this was a stressfull thing to do and hard to maintain, choosing to keep his normal form most of the time. It started to become easier with practice, but something else came up which freaked him out and hindered his training. It was revealed that when his DNA changed with his shape, he became the actual person or being he took the form of. This included becoming genetically a female when he took the form of one, most unsettling of all to him.

Many months of both training and rehab later, Paul finally gained control over this remarkable power. Although he required many psychological check-ups to see that he wasn't going insane or would become stuck in a particular personality if in a form too long. Finally released with a clean bill of health, Paul was allowed ot rejoin the FCPD once again. A special position had been made for individuals like him, super powered operative and undercover detective, thanks to his new powers. At first he thought this was just so he couldn't compete against the normal detectives, but came to love the work no matter the circumstances he got it. It seems during the time he was recovering, a new investigation had began, one to find out who owned the warehouse where Paul had been attacked. Most shocking of all to Paul was the news the warehouse had been a front of localized crime. The Power-House. Paul had hit the big time and made some powerful enemies, ones who would kill to keep their secrets.

Back to Work
Setting back to work on proving his brother's innocence, Paul worked on other cases for the department, hoping one of them would give him a lead to who framed Clark. Driven even more than ever before in his life, he found it hard to sleep at nights. Nightmares haunted him, of the attack and the face of the real robber who had escaped him. Soon something else would happen, one which would give his life a new purpose.

One year, it had been exactally one whole since the attack on Paul happened. News came to him from an unexpected source, as the police chief told him about the Power-House having infiltrated the prison where Paul's brother was being kept. It seems they have been doing hidden experiments on the prisoners, unknown at first but found out recently. Clark was one of them and Paul became worried when he heard the further news. It seems a riot happened when the warden refused to believe the prisoners stories, they thought he was on the take [they were right]. The riot resulted in a prison break, with many of the experimented upon prisoners being among those who fleed. Including Clark, who tired of his unjust inprisonment, with the guards near the gate having heard him say he would prove his own innocence, just as he rushed past them to freedom.

Because of this matter, I.N.S. was keeping a close eye on Paul, in case his brother tried to contact him. Paul hopes his brother will come to his senses, turning himself in and trusting Paul to prove his innocence, although it doesn't seem like that will happen anytime soon. But especially with a recent murder down by the Boardwalk, the real robber having been killed by unknown individuals. All the proof of Clark's innocence died with the robber, he would have to dig deeper into the conspiracy. Only by finding out whom the thug worked for and getting them to talk would save his brother from a possible life in prison. There was also the complication of what those experiments chould have done to him and the other prisoners, leaving superpowered thugs on the loose.

Description:Paul is a tall, robust man in his early 20s. He has a medium build with a strong muscle tone, along with a light tan. His intense blue eyes can send a gaze which is unsettling to even the toughest of thugs and his short black hair is kept trim and neat. He can change his appearance at will, including simple changes to his eye color and hair. His skill in disguises goes beyond his power, having training and skilled at undercover work even before the attack.

He tends to wear a simple brown suit when on duty, having a sturdy pair of black boots and keeping his police issue revolver in the holster on his belt. His clothing can also change form with him, including increasing or decreasing mass as needed.

Notes
 Here is Reflex-Rebooted version. Her background has been fleshed out with more details. Her stats are mostly the same, with only a vulnerability to visual dazzles and 2 feats added. Reflex has little skills or feats of her own, using her Reflex Memory to fill the gap as needed. She was kept issolated from most movies and only had some training in martial arts which she retained completely on her own. Also remembered to put in her complications this time.

 Several of her feats are due to her Reflex Memory, but can't be nullified. These include Assessment, Attractive [she learned how to act sexy and mimicked the movements of some of the senior girls when she was still in public school}, Beginner's Luck, Eidetic Memory and Jack-Of-All-Trades. She can use/perfom almost any skill by just tapping into the residual reflex memories she retains. This helps her be a virtual chameleon, able to blend in and adapt as needed.

 Her gear was all taken from the false military base, she wishes to use their own weapons against them. The customized blaster pistol was designed for her grip and used in her training. She has had them scanned and is assured there are no tracking devices on them.

 She can copy any combination of Skills and Feats she sees used with her Reflex Memory up to 20pp in total. Her current allocation is this:
Skills: Stealth 8 (+15[/b] [2pp]
Feats: Acrobatic Bluff, Challenge [vanish], Defensive Attack, Evasion 2, Improved Block, Improved Grab, Improved Iniative 2, Improved Throw, Instant Up, Martial Strike, Move-by Action, Power Attack, Sneak Attack, Takedown Attack 2, Uncanny Dodge [auditory] [18pp]
These are not taken into account in her main stats. She recently watched Batman Begins and also mimics the fighting style of Chun Lee from Street Fighter 2. Her adjusted Initiative is +15 with this set-up, along with +4 Damage [unarmed] with +6 Damage [unarmed sneak attack]. With the right skills and abilities to mimic, she can mimic almost any role needed on a team.

Description of Powers:Vicky was given experimental cybernetic eyes when only 5 years old to restore her vision. They were designed to give her infravsion, ultravision and increase the speed her eyes can operate at by 100x as well as replace her normal eye functions. They were wired to the optic nerves but somehow through an unknown fluke became connected to her whole nervous system. This somehow gave her a form of photographic reflexes, where she could remember and mimic the movements of others. Including combat skills and anything physical. An unfortunate side-effect of this is her eyes aren't as adapted to sudden change as normal eyes, being vulnerable to sudden flashes and ink sprayed in her eyes.

This direct wiring on her nervous system to her eyes caused her natural agility and reflexes to increase to peak human levels. Although she is still developing and they could grow even more still. Anymore long-term side-effects of the cybernetics linking to her body's nervous system are currently unknown.

History:
Human or Living Machine?
A young girl, Vicky Barston didn't know that the government was keeping a close eye on her from a young age. Living on a military base doesn't come without its risk, as an accidently involving a surface to air missile left 5 year old Vicky blind, small chunks of the missile gashing her optic nerves. This might have been the end of the matter, if not for her father and his connections. He was involved in a top-secret experimental project, involving cybernetics and wiring them to a person's nervous system, giving them greater visual senses and overall abilities which would be perfect for a soldier. It took calling in a lot of favors, as well as owing even more once it was set up. Vicky was given new eyes, experimental cybernetic ones which she would be able to use like normal eyes, and then some. They allowed her to see in many different specturms of light, able to read a person's moves and actions with ease, even being able to replicate their moves herself afterwards. At first this was all very disorienting to the young girl and it took her several years to get used to it, sometimes reacting on something she had seen before anyone else could even more.

Seeing her as an investment, the government continued to monitor her activities from that point on, letting her stay at home with her parents but never far from one of their agents. Home-schooled from that point on, she began to want to hang out with kids her age again. Each time her parents said that now wasn't the right time, as too many questions would be asked which could put her in danger. Over time her agility began to grow at an extreme rate, by the age of 10 she was tested and registere as having peak human agility and superhuman reflexes. Upon reviewing the notes and test records on Vicky, the government gave more funding to their cybernetic research for the military, in hopes of having an army of superhuman who answered to them, not a bunch of superheroes who didn't have to follow procedure. With an army of such beings, they wouldn't even need anything beyond basic training for their troups from then on.

But children are curious by nature, which would be their undoing. Vicky began to wonder about other kids her age, wanting to go to a normal school for once, instead of being issolated. The government protested this strongly, thinking it a bad idea. They didn't wish for their experiments to become public knowledge, it would be a fiasco. But Vicky finally spoke her mind on the matter, using reasoning to get their to agree. Without a normal life, by keeping her issolated from all other children, it would make her even more suspicious to the other kids in the area. Plus in the long term it would mean she would grow up, developing no social skills and standing out. The government finally relented, only after giving her some special brown contacts to hide her cybernetic eyes true appearance.

First Day of School, At 11 Years Old
As she walked through the wallways of the school on her first day, she was in awe of everything she saw, especially the guys. She found her classrooms easy to locate and excelled in the assignments, but her issolation made her stand out still. She had no knowledge of any current slang, didn't keep up on pop culture or celebrities and even seemed to like going ot school. All of this made her considered somewhat of a geek by the other students, too shy to start a conversation at first. Til finally she began to mimic the movements of some of the other girls, especially the seniors, and soon found boys watching her. It seems her ability to copy the skills and abilities of others allowed her to adapt to school better than using her intelligence ever would have. But the government watchmen took note of this and thought that this was just the sign of trouble yet to come.

And for a while all seemed to be going well, her contacts able to hide her cybernetic eyes true color and she was excelling in all of her classes. She was becoming popular, especially as the other girls started to allow her to hang out with them. She started to adapt even more, without the use of her "gifts", finding she had a lot in common with other students. She was happy, having everything she ever dreamed off finally. But things couldn't stay that way for long, as after 3 years the government had her forcefully pull out of school and her family moved. Long overdue repairs were being done to the school gym, all seemed well for the first couple of days. Til one of the workers was up in the rafts, the beam he was standing on cracked and caused him to lose his balance.

Upon hearing the noise, many students and staff members rushed to see what was going on. As they arrived, they could only watch in fear as the worker hung from the rafter beam for his life. As she saw what was going on, Vicky leapt into action without thinking of the consequences, literally leaping at the nearby wall. Performing a wall spring like Chun Li from Street Fighter 2, to the shock of everyone there she grabbed the man just as he lost his grip, landing safely on the gym floor. No one said anything, an eerie silence falling over the crowd, til finally Vicky put the man down, realizing exactally what she had done and the consquences of it.

As she rushed out there, tears in her eyes as she knew she had ruined it all, she finally arrived home. She wasn't shocked upon seeing the government officials packing up their family's stuff, as two of them approached her. They told her what she had already deduced, that she had revealed top-secret abilities and could no longer remain in this area. In a blur, her family was moved to a new military base, one at a secret location without any other families in the area. She couldn't believe it, they had cut her off once again from kids her own age and treated her like she was some machine. Forced back into home schooling once agian, they also put her into additional training, to give her combat techniques, although she didn't understand why. Vicky had been forced to leave her life and friends behind, she would make it difficult for these government jerks. She would prove to them she was more than an experiment with no rights of her own, she would make them see this no matter what it took.

Tragedy Brings In Changes
Everything was kept secret even from them, as they were placed at an unnamed military base, not even being told which state they were in. Just why were they keeping their own people, her dad, in the dark about such things? As she mulled it over in her mind, she began to wonder what was going on. As she was put in training with some of the worst drill sergents they could find, Vicky soon became a force to be reconed with, able to beat men much stronger than her. 2 intense years of training and Vicky still hadn't been able to figure out what these men were up to. They had plans for her, how she was going to be disected and analyzed to find out how the simple cybernetic eyes had given her photographic reflexes beyond their wildest dreams.

But they made a big mistake, desiding to inform her father of the situation, all of the higher-ups thinking it was no big deal. They had not expected the response from Mr. Barston which they received. He was outraged, screaming how coudl they even think of treating his only daughter as nothing more than an experiment, to kill her in cold-blooded after keeping her from having a real life for so long. Decking the base chief outcold with one powerful strike, the troups dragged him out of the office, planning to kill him to prevent him from taking further action against their plans. Dragged to their home, he was placed under house arrest for the time being, with explicit orders not to reveal any of what he had been told to wife or daughter. They were giving him one last to avoid being executed, if he could follow these orders he would simply be dismissed from the army and given a new life. They didn't count on the love of a father for his child or for a man for his wife.

As he watched them closely, signelling his wife and daughter not to make a sound, he finally saw the chance he had been waiting for. The guard which had been left to watch them had ditched his post, taking a break. He grabbed his wife and daughter, covering their mouths as he began to explain what was going on. He said to pack as much as they could carry, they had a limited amount of time if they were going to flee this base with their lives. Hurrying, trying to remain unnoticed by the guards, they were finally ready when night fell. Sneaking out the back, they made their way to the family jeep and began to drive for their lives. It seemed they were almost free, nearing the edge of the base, when an alarm was sounded. Found out and with the guards closing in, they were forced to abandon the jeep as it ran out of gas, running as fast as they could toward a hole in the fence.

But unfortunately, they weren't quick enough to escape the guards, several of them on motercycles and caught up easily. As rifles were raised, they were told to surrender. but Mr Barston hugged his wife and daughters, telling them to run as he formed a human shield. The guards viciously opened fire upon them, as Vicky watched in horror was first her father was cut down, then her mother as she tried to shield her little girl. The chief of the base came up to the little girl, saying with them gone they could finally drop the ruse. It seems her father had been dupped, they were never with the American military, having been a part of a secret organization trying to create an army of perfect cybernetic warriors with which to take over the United States all along. They were a splinter group, having broken away from S.H.A.D.O.W. years ago, bidding their time as they built up the funds needed. While placing themselves into the U.S. military discretely and other areas of the U.S. super structure.

Something clicked in at that moment, a burning rage she didn't know even existed. Her life was a lie, her parents unknowing pawns of someone they trusted. With a burst of speed which left the guards confused, she began to rip through them one by one, killing them with precise blows, all to avenge her parents. By the time she got through with the guards, her hand and arms were covered in blood, a look of pure rage upon her face. She wished to punish the base chief for part in all of this, but as she looked to where he had stood before, no sign of him was left. Punching the sand beneath her, she cried out in rage, her vegenance stolen from her.

Trip Through the Sands
As the rage began to die down, Vicky finally saw what she had done, going into shock. She wandered off the base in a daze, off into the desert beyond. Her shock lasted a long time, as she continued to wander in the blazing heat, the strain beginning to take a toll on her. Without water or shade, she was soon getting exhausted. The harsh environment gave no clues as to if there were any towns nearby, leaving Vicky to continue wandering. Just as she was on the verge of collapse, she found a small rock cave. Taking shelter for the night, she finally fell into a deep sleep, one haunted with nightmare images of her parents death and what she had done.

Unknown to Vicky and even the troups on the false military base, was the fact they had been just a few miles from a place called the Magic Mesa the whole time. Something had guided her there, a fortunate turn of events, as the being known as Dust Devil found her asleep. Taking pity upon the poor girl, he [it?] picked her up and carried her to the mesa, with the hope that its magic would send her somewhere she would find the help he sensed she truely needed.

Waking up after what seemed like forever to her, Vicky was startled to walk up in dirt and grass, when she had been in the desert when she went to sleep. As she walked around and tried to figure out where she was, it was obviously still early in the morning, with her being the only person in the area. She found many different kinds of plants and vegetation around her, some which couldn't be native in the same area. Wherever she was, it seemed to be a garden of some sort, like the ones which big cities built for the public to enjoy and to draw in tourists. As she neared what seemed to be the front door, it was obviously a greenhouse, as sunlight was streaming in through the glass doors. She finally located a sign, stating this was the Liberty Park Botanical Gardens, a part of Freedom City. She began to freak out, trying to figure out what happened and how she been brought to this location of all places.

Safe Hiding Place
As she stood there, her thoughts scrambling to come up with an answers, the doors suddenly opened. Vicky leapt into action, hiding among the plants, not sure of who to trust in this new environment. She watched as a woman came in, one of the staff members who helped to take care of the garden, opening it for the public to enter each day. All seemed clear, this woman just being a harmless person coming into work. But as she watched, another two people came into the gardens, visiting for a different reason. Could be a couple, just out on a date, as the pair was a young raven-haired beauty and an attractive baclk guy who walked by her side. They went up to the front desk, not noticing the girl watching their every move, there to pick up some herbs of some sort.

Vicky let her guard relax, taking a deep sigh, simply glad it wasn't some of the creeps from the military base still after her. This was her first mistake, as the boy suddenly turned his head in her direction, giving hand signals to the raven-haired girl. She knew those signals too well, they were preparing to engauge her and she took this to mean they were a trheat. Leaping from her hiding place, she made a mad dash for the huge double doors, hoping to escape outside before being pinned down. But suddenly the very earth beneath her rose up, blocking her escape. And before she could react, a strange sound frequency disoriented her for a moment. Which was all it took to get her attention.

"Okay, just calm down. We aren't going to hurt you. We simply wish to know what you are doing here, why were you hiding?" the raven-haired girl said in a voice which made Vicky feel she could be trusted. As she calmed down and shaked off the disorientation, she finally stood up once again. If they wished to hear her out, it will at least give her time to think of another way to escape. She began to tell her tale, of how she had been giving the cybernetic eyes after the accident, of how she had changed, of her life with her parents for all those years. She began to cry as she told of how her parents had been tricked, the truth of the group which had given her "enhancements", how they were killed saving her life and of her harrowing escape from the madmen. Serena sensed something else at work for her arriving here, but would have to deal with that later. She took pity on the young girl, wondering why it seemed that death followed those who had powers?

Serena began to explain to Vicky about the Claremont Academy, how it was a safe place for those with powers like them. She didn't seem sure of Serena's words, til she said she could have shelter there and a place to hide from the people after her, til the real officials could take care of them. Vicky had no idea of where to go, so she took Serena up on her offer. After meeting with Duncan Summers and assurd that Serena said was true, they took her to be cleaned up and given some new clothes. After a check up by the medical staff to insure she was okay, they marvelled the cybernetic eyes and how her body had adapted to them. Finally she was given a tour of the school grounds, both Serena and Lemar Phillips acompanying her. She couldn't believe what she saw, even her old school couldn't compare to the facilities to here. But most shocking of all was the other students, several of whom didn't look normal or even human in some cases.

She began to fel comfortable again, as it reminded her some of the public school she had gone to years ago. Unfortunately, that included cliches, as she noted some of the students verbally harassing others. After finally being set up with her own dorm room, she thanked Serena for all she had done, before finally collapsing on her bed, crying. The shock of everything hitting her hard, of the death of her parents, of what she had done to those guards. The stress was too much and drained her, as she drifted off to sleep quickly. Serena watched her and knew she needed a lot of help. But at least now she had a safe place to stay, one where Serena hoped the men who had changed her and ruined her life wouldn't be able to find her for a long, long time.

Description:Vicky is an attractive young girl in her mid-teens. She is tall with a strong build and muscle tone for someone her age (5'7" and 125 lbs.). Despite this she is extremely agile with enhanced human agility and reflexes. Her hair is black and kept to just above her shoulders, while her cybernetic eyes are red but she tends to hide this with contacts that make them appear to be brown. Although now at the Claremont Academy, she doesn't feel the need to as much anymore.

She tends to wear simple blue jeans, tee-shirt and tough pair of brown ankle-length boots, clothes which are durable and won't draw attention to her. She wears no make-up or jewelry, not considering them to be needed except for manipulation. She has a red and black armored jumpsuit from the military base which they had her use during combat training, she wears this when training or on a mission.

Notes
 Here is Zipper-Rebooted version. She is much the same stat wise, except for the addition of immunity to friction and giving her the Impatient drawback from Hero High. Her background has been fleshed out and given more detail. A mutant whose natural speed just developed into something even more. She is only 13 and already so powerful, only time will tell what she will be able to do. Her age, combined with her super-speed, make her impatient and she has a hard time sitting still to get things done.

 She has several skills due to her interaction and helping take care of the younger kids at the orphanage for many years. Playing with the kids taught her some other things as well, including some of her feats. And while she doesn't meet her Defensive caps, just yet keep in mind she is only 13 years old and new to the superpowers business. Give her time to grow and she will be a force to truely be reconed with. Also keep in mind her Luck feat, she tends to perform power stunts she just dreamed up in the midst of battle.

Description of Powers:Alexis was always naturally quick from an early age, a glimpse at her mutant powers which would become active years later. She stores kinetic energy in her body, subconsciously channeling it to increase her natural speed to superhuman levels. She is capable of moving upward of 40k mph at her top speed, keeping down to 10k mph when cruising. She can perform almost any task at 500x normal human speed, although her impatient nature prevents her from fully benefiting from this yet. She reacts at such speeds, making her capable of outrunning a bullet. She can focus the kinetic energy within her into powerful strikes or project it as kinetic energy blasts. She hasn't even begun to tap into her true potential, it being unknown what she will be capabel of and her top speed when she grows up. Even Johnny Rocket believes seeing her current ability, that she will surpass him someday, if only she will live to see that day.

History:
Quick Little Girl
Left at an orphanage shortly after being born, by a mother unable to care for her, Alexis was a cheerful little girl despite the circumstances. She quickly became known as a precocious little girl, one who was always getting ito thing she shouldn't, being too quick for the staff unless they cornered her. A bundle of energy, the staff had to find things to focus her energy on. Otherwise she would soon be back into mischief, able to climb into areas which shocked the adults. Just how in the world was a 4 year old little girl this fast and agile? One of he favorite pasttimes was playing tag, always too quick for the other kids to catch, but being nice enough to let them sometimes, just to cheer them up. She became known as a guardian for the younger kids, always standing up to bullies and confounding them. It seemed as she grew up, so did her speed and agility. Even being shocked when she dodged out of the way of a speeding car, avoiding harm with great agility.

These gifts didn't come without their own set of troubles. Someone had noticed and had plans for this little girl. Posing as a loving couple, they stated they wished to adopt her, hiding their true intentions behind a mask. The staff was fooled by their false credentials, allowing the couple to take Alexis home for a trial run, just to see if they were the right people to raise her. At first her new foster parents seemed okay, treating her like a little princess and spoiling her rotten. But that would soon all change, ending up back at the orphange once again and thinking it was hopeless to find someone who would truely want her.

They had been planning a big job for a while, one which required someone with Alexis's kind of speed to get past the more difficult security measures. Professional burglers, all they cared about was the next big haul. Forcefully woken up one night and dragged out of her bed, they began to explain their plan along the way, stating if she didn't go along and help them she would be killed. Alexis became terrified, shocked to find out these thugs had faked being loving people, all just to use her for their own twisted schemes. Having little choice but to go along with them for now, Alexis tried to think of what to do, how to escape and get help. Finally arriving at the cased out joint, they easily got past the first of the security measue, the next step was the one which they didn't have the skills to overcome. A long hallway with a grid of laser tripwires, the beams wouldn't react to movement unless they were broken for at least a 1/4th of a second. Prodded in the back with a gun, Alexis took off in a mad dash, faster than she had ever done before, til she reached the end and her goal.

Spotting the switch she was instructed about, just as she was about to pass the last laser tripwire, she slowed down on purpose just enough to trip the alarm system. In a mad dash as the thugs opened fire upon her, she made her way to a glass door which lead outside and hid behind the brick wall for safety. Hearing the gunfire stop, she made another dash towards the exit of the mansion grounds, trying to put as much distance between her and the thugs as possible. Never looking back once, she kept running out of fear til she couldn't run no more.

Home Again but Not For Long
Finally arriving back at the orphange in short order, she caught her breath, then quickly told the tale of what happened to the staff members who were still awake that late. They watched the news the next day, seeing the truth of her tale, along with details on how these criminals had done the same thing before in other cities. Faking being a couple and taking an orphan in who was quick for their age, Alexis was just their latest mark. She was also one of the lucky kids, not having been hurt by the two after getting what they wanted. Back at the only place she had ever called home, it seemed she would never be adopted now, some people knowing about the incident and fearing the two criminals would come back for her someday.

Years pasted and she saw kids come and go, at the age of 11 she knew there were few people who would want a kid that old. It seemed all hope was lost, she would never find a family. Except the other kids at the orphanage, who she tried to cheer up, not wishing to see them sad over their current circumstances. Caring more about the happiness of the other orphans than what happened to her, even the staff members were shocked with her compassion. She was always helping to take care of the orphanage and all of the other kids, getting good at housecleaning, showing signs she would get a job in that profession when she grew up. But Fate had different ideas for the young girl, as her speed began to grow, starting to become something more than just a natural gift, something much more.

While she was outside one day, simply watching the other kids at play, the now 13 year old Alexis was at least glad to have them as her family. But something happened which would change her life forever. As they played, the kickball went sailing into the street, Alexis having no time to call out before one of the kids went to get it, instead of letting Alexis or one of the staff do so. A maniac teenager was driving along recklessly, swerving and speeding along without a car for what happened. Suddenly he came around the corner and was barreling towards the boy, sure to kill him if he hit at that speed. Alexis tried to run and reach him in time, not wishing to lose a member of her family. But what happened next shocked everyone in the area.

At a speed so fast she appeared as a blur to everyone else, she not only made it to the boy but picked him up and was on the other side of the street, all before the car could even move 2 more inches. Alexis was in shock, she had always been fast but this was something new to her. Her speed had increased greatly, to something beyond what any human was capable of, so fast the car had appeared to have stopped from her perspective. And as Fate would have it, Jonny Rockert had passing through the neighborhood at that exact moment. Even he couldn't believe his eyes, how could someone so young have the speed to match his own.

Finally Find a Home
In an instant, he was back at the Freedom League headquarters, bringing up the matter with the rest of the Freedom League, along with the situation the young girl was in. Everyone agreed it would be best to contact the orphanage staff, getting her set up at the Claremont Academy for her safety and the safety of others. With her gifts, they feared someone would try and manipulate her, get her to use her gifts for evil ends. Johnny Rocket arrived shortly back at the orphanage with The Raven in two, discussing the matter with the staff in as calm a manner as possible. They needed to get everything worked out, before they would talk with Alexis, fearing her reaction if all didn't go well.

Those in the staff always knew she was fast, it was obvious since she was just 4 years old that she was quick for her age, always outrunning adults with ease. This newest development made them concerned, as they all knew what happened to her at the age of 11. With her newfound speed, some supervillains might try to take advantage of her, leading her to life of crime. They all agreed it would be best for young Alexis to go to this special school, as the orphanage would no longer be a safe haven with her gifts.

They finally found Alexis in the rec room, hanging with several of the other kids, trying to start up a game of hide and go seek. Taking her aside as quietly as possible, they began to explain to her about why they were there, along with the Claremont Academy. The details of how she could learn to control her newfound speed there, while still getting a normal education and getting to be around other kids with special gifts like her. But at first she was reluctant to leave, not wanting to go away from her family, considering herself a big sister to many of the other kids. It wasn't til all of the kids in the room, along with several whom had been hiding just outside, walked up and said they overheard everything. They all loved her but didn't wish to see Alexis give up a chance at having a family, nor learing how to control her speed, all of them afraid she might hurt herself if she didn't train how to use it.

All of them had learned from Alexis, their young ages belaying the big hearts they possessed and understanding of having to let people go. Alexis began to cry as she hugged each and everyone one of them, making a promise to visit them often. Finally with all of this out of the way, Alexis finally agreed to go to the Claremont Academy. Before any of them could blink, she was gone and back, having packed what few things she owned in a fraction of a second. Johnny Rocket was even more impressed than before with the speed this young girl showed. As she sat in a car, trying to keep still, something she always had trouble doing, but now she found it harder than ever. She couldn't wait to get to the Academy already, the thoughts going her head of what she would see and who she would meet driving her crazy with impatience.

Due to her speed and impatience, Johnny Rocket was the only one capable of giving her a tour of the school grounds. Just under 30 seconds, they had seen all of the school grounds already were back at Duncan Summers office, having her sign the paperwork to help set her up at the academy. Finally she was shown to her new dorm room, one which she would be sharing with an older girl named Nicky Barston. Unpacking in under 6 seconds, she talked with her roommate for awhile, finding out she wasn't the only hard luck case at the school. Finally deciding to take a nap, she wished to be ready for the big day ahead of her.

Description:Vicky is average height for a girl her age and in great shape. She has a fairly good muscle tone and incredible endurance, all from running so much all her life. Her eyes are a strange light blue and her hair is blond with blue streaks, something she was born with. She seems to fidget when still for longer than a minute, moving about quickly but trying to keep at a normal human pace when around the other students. She always seems to move with a fluid grace about her.

She tends to wear a simple pair of blue jeans, a simple tee-shirt and durable tennis shoes. She doesn't care for girly things, being somewhat of a tomboy still. Her uniform is a specially designed full bodysuit of light blue and black, designed to withstand the speeds she can travel at. It includes a mask which she can pull over the top half of her face and covers her neck, all to disguise her true identity.

Notes
 Here is Willforce-Rebooted version. She is a powerful psychic character, who is only limited by her age and training. Her background has been fleshed out a lot. Her only changes to her stats are 2 points from Attack removed, 1 more rank of Attack Specialization with telekinesis, split her one knowledge skill into 2 and one more rank of Mind Shield. Against someone of a higher PL, she will have trouble defeating them, unless she works with teammates. Her extra PPs represent a combination of both the intense training she put herself through, as well as the natural psychic senses she has honed over the years.

 She is a high-level genius due to her own psychic powers, as she is able to tap into the "collective unconscious" to know almost anything. This includes reading a situation and having perfect recall of everything she experiences. As she develops her psychic powers more, this could expand into new areas she never expected.

 Her powerful strength of will makes it very difficult to mess with her mind. She has honed this from over a decade of training. Her Psychic tracker feature means she can use her Detect Psychic Super-Sense and Mind Reading to track any living being. Use Sense Motive checks in place of Survival checks for tracking as needed. She is immune to changes in history and can't be taken out of her current reality against her will.

 If she has a Hero point available she will normally do a power stunt off of her Telekinesis. Some examples include 3pp/rank Transform on inanimate objects, Drain Toughness [Affect Objects, Ranged] by weakening objects on their molecular level, Blast [Alternate Save: Fortitude] to attack internal organs, etc.

Description of Powers:Kelly trained for many years to develop the psychic powers she has, not knowing she was genetically designed to be predispossed to develop such powers over time. She can see the auras around living beings as well as detect any psychic energy in her area. Using these senses she can also track someone down based on her psychic signature and aura. She is extremely strong willed and has some mental shielding to protect her from other psychics. She has only begun to tap into her potential and could become the most powerful psychic given time.

She is an empath, capable of sensing the emotions of others and even tracking them using it. She can focus this energy to heal herself and others from injuries and illnesses as well. She has powerful telekinetic abilities, able to move several tons at one time, levitate to fly around and even create a powerful psychic energy field to shield herself or others from harm.

Unknown traits from her psychic training are the fact she is "anchored" in the space-time continuum, making her immune to changes in history. She will always recall the "true" version of historical events, even if nobody else does. She is also anchored to this reality and can not be forcefully removed from it against her will. Why she has these defenses is unknown.

History:
Turning Inward for Strength
She was always a sickly young girl, born with a weak immune system and her parents trying to protect her from the world. But this didn't keep Kelly from trying to do things on her own, staying inside most of the time and began to read from a young age. The worry shown by her parents kept her from taking any risks, always wishing to keep them happy. By the age of 4 she could read at a 3rd grade level, showning interest in many unusual subject matters, including psychic powers and the paranormal. Seeing in these subjects a world in which she wouldn't be held back by her physical frailties. She began to read book after book at an amazing speed on such matters, with her parents leaving her alone for the most part. They both had to work bad hours at their jobs, all to help pay for their little girl's medical bills, trusting her to be okay on her own, being given no other choice.

As she got older, she began to expand her studies into new areas. From meditation and alternative medicines, to accupressure and beyond, all in the hopes of improving her poor health and being able to live a more normal life. Pressure points and accupressure techniques were the most intriguing and showed the most promise to her young mind. Soon she found more books and began to search on the internet for sites on the subjects, beginning to practice in secret what she read and learned. She had to go to public school, her parents unable to home school her or afford a tutor. Because of her sickly appearance and pale skin, she was picked on a lot, especially by the popular kids. This only became worse, when news of her unusual interests came out, as they began to call her a freak. But she endured it and simply tried to ignore their taunts, knowing they just had troubles of their own they were trying to ignore.

Soon her studies, along with practicing what she read about, began to have an affect. She began to show noticeablely better health, her skin starting to gain some color. Soon she found some books which were buried in the back of the local library, ones which hadn't been read in years. They detailed techniques for developing your natural psychic powers. Kelly couldn't believe it, why would such books go ignored and unread for so long? To her, they were a dream come true. As she practiced the techniques and learned more, the taunts of the other kids began to fade into the background, her confidence growing, both in herself and her new abilities. Most soon gave up, seeing her as a waste of time to try and get upset.

Time and Training Lead to a Big Change
Years pasted and Kelly continued her training in secret, her parents just happy to see their little girl in great health, no longer pale and finally able to keep up with the other kids in gym class. So happy, they tended to ignore any strange things which she was involved in. If they had payed closer attention, they might have noticed it wasn't just her health which had improved over time. She had expanded her mind and its capabilities, being placed into several of the gifted classes by the time she was just 10 years old. Despite the classes being tougher than ever before, she was able to keep up with the work, finding that she could recall anything she read with ease. Her intelligence and memory weren't the only things improved by her secret training, which Kelly would soon find out.

One day, while out in Liberty Park and practicing deep meditation, she began to sense something she had never felt before. A feeling of fear, not her own, coming from nearby. As she began to follow the direction these feelings came from, they began stronger and more focused, as she sensed a deep fear of being lost. Moving into the denser wooded areas, the feelings drawing her in as she ventured further in. As she followed the emanations, Kelly finally came upon their source. A little 4 year old girl, having wandered off from her mother and became lost, scared and alone. Kelly said everything would be okay, offering her hand to the girl who took it. She was able to lead them back to the main trail easily, soon finding the little girl's mother who had become frantic. Grateful and happy to be back with her mommy, she thanked Kelly and gave her a quick hug, before she ran over into her crying mother's arms. Something had happened to her, something she knew couldn't be explained as a coincidence.

As she rushed home, exhilirated more than ever before, Kelly was estatic. Finally figuring out that her training to develop psychic powers was showing progress, she wondered what else she would be capable of given time. She found she could sense the emotions of those around her, even at great distances if they were strong enough. She decided to push herself even more with the training, expanding it into other psychic powers which she had only read about before. It took a lot time, determination and focus beyond anything she had done before, developing the gifts over years, all the while her parents simply thinking they had a gifted child. She even found a natural talent for psychic healing, having used it for years without knowing it to improve her health, focusing it even more now to improve it t even greater levels. She could even focus this energy outward, able to heal others using it. At first she began testing it out, working on the neighborhood animals and plants. .

Giving time, her mind began unlock other abilities, even finding she could move objects by force of will alone, with practice she could even levitate herself and fly. This was a thrill beyond belief, able to do something which men dream of all the time. She continued to push herself, knowing only by going beyond her current abilities could she grow. Soon she found she could focus the psychic energy outward in new ways, forming a shield which could protect herself and others from harm. But all of this soon put her to a new test, as her study and training would be taken to a new level, one which she hadn't known of before. The very threads of her reality being tested and her life taking a turn for the strange.

A Shift in the Axis
As she was walking home from school one day, something in the air seemed to ripple about her, others in the area not even taking notice. A wave of intense energy passed over the whole area, giving Kelly pause. Looking around, she didn't see anything, finding nothing wrong and shrugging it off as nothing important at first. But the closer she came to her home, she noted one thing which was off, in a big way. An apartment building nearby was emanating the strongest energy she had ever felt before, like the very fabric of reality was being reshaped around her. As she saw some people outside whom she recognize, she went over to ask them if everything was okay. Despite her feelings on the matter, the guy said that everything was fine. But something still seemed off to her, as she noted that a guy she had talk to the other day wasn't there. Upon asking about him, she was shocked at the response given.

This guy was a friend of Mark Kenson, he stayed with him and some other guys as he tried to find a new job. And yet when Kelly brought him up, he said he had never heard of any guy by that name, let alone knew him. What was going on here, how in the world could he say he didn't know a guy who had lived in his apartment with him and two other friends for over 2 years now? But try as she might, he kept saying he didn't know anyone by that name and told her to bug off after a while. Something was definately off, the energy wave earlier must have something to do with this. She tried to prob the guy's emotions further, digging in and finding a residue of some strange energy, all over his psychic aura and extending outward in all directions. This was beyond anything even the gods of myth coud accomplish. The only thing which made sense was some powerful force, a force beyond the mythical gods even, had changed reality itself, in the process erasing Mark completely or rewriting his existance as she knew it.

As she rushed home, she began to realize her mental shields she had built-up protected her, shielding her memories from being altered as reality changed around her. Changing a part of reality in a way as yet unknown to her, all done by a force stronger than anything she could imagine existed. But how could such a thing exist and why would it even be allowed to, if it could simply change the works of those in charge of reality at a whim. She knew it was beyond her power to change things back to the way they were, no matter how strong she became. But she could at least find out if Mark still existed in some form and help him in anyway she could. Something about all of this suggested it wouldn't be as easy as she first thought, whatever force which changed reality seemed to be masking any traces of Mark, each lead disappearing just as she located it.

Unseen Trail, Unknown Course
But as she followed the trail, going after any leads on Mark she could find, it seemed the force hadn't been through in masking his new form. But it was taking long, far too long in her opinion, to locate him if he did still exist in some form or other. As she let this begin to consume her life, her parents became concerned for her, finally starting to notice the changes in who she had once been. Although they were happy with her being more confident and outging, what concerned them as the physical changes they noted. Her hair seemed to be an ice blue color now, thinking she had dyed it as a form of rebellion. They thought she was getting involved in some punk culture, beginning to keep a closer eye on her and her activities.

But the truth of the matter was her psychic abilities had grown, having pushed them even more than ever before in her search of Mark Kenson. The energy flowing through her body had a noticeable side-effect, causing her hair to change to a natural ice blue hue, the psychic energies unable to be fully contained within her. Even her eyes began to have a minor glow to them, one which you could notice if you were looking for something unusual about her. Kelly didn't care what happened to her, these were minor things to worry over, after all that had happened recently. Someone seemed to have been torn from reality without a trace and that was all she cared to figure out now.

An Old Acquaintance, A New Friend
But soon her search turned up new clues, one which put her back on the trail of the missing Mark Kenson. She followed them to a place she had never seen before, one she had heard of but records showed as being just an ordinary school. The Claremont Academy, it seemed ordinary enough for a private school at first look. Large grounds, dorms seperated by gender, and a lot of extras you would expect to find at such a place. But an energy was in the air, as the aura around the students of this place was different than most humans, each one seeming to radiate something she had never seen before. As she began to look around, she didn't seem to stand out at all, being overlooked as if she were just another student. As she followed the psychic energy trail she had picked up in an alleyway near her home, she was sure it would lead her to the missing Mark Kenson. Despite reservation of what she would find, she dind't back down as she headed further in.

The trail finally lead her towards the girls' dorm building, another thing off about all of this. What would a grown up man be doing in a school girl's dorm room? Finally she followed the trail to just outside one of the dorm rooms, looking inside she found it had only recently been occupied by a new student. But as she was about to walk inside, an elderly gentlemen stepped in the way, halting her at the last moment. "Miss, I'm a pretty observant fellow. I know all of the students who have been enrolled in this Academy. Which you aren't one of them. So I'm going to ask you polite now. Why are you here and standing outside of one of my student's dorm rooms?" he asked to know, gruffly but at the same time with kindness behind it. Kelly looked up into his eyes, glaring and trying to get an accurate read on him. His aura suggested he was being honent and also a great strength hidden from her currently. "Okay, why should I tell you anything? You didn't even have the common curtousey to introduce yourself first before asking me a question." she said, standing her ground as before the large man. "How rude of me, but you are an uninvited guest in my academy. I'm Duncan Summers and this is my school. Now once again I will ask you. What are you doing here?" he responded politely, surprised at the maturity of a girl so young. "Something lead me here, a trail I've followed for 2 weeks now. And sorry to state this so rudely. But I'm not leaving without any answers. And they involved whomever stays in this dorm room." she said, pointing to the dorm outside which she had been caught.

"I'm afraid that is confidential information, as the student is under our care. If you gave me some details about who you are looking for, I might be able to help you out." he said, trying to figure out what was going here. "Very well. I'm looking for someone by the name of Mark Kenson, he was a neighbor of mine whom I had talked to before. Around 2 weeks ago, a strange energy wave happened and afterwards no one who was his close friend even remembered knowing such an individual. Somehow this energy wave was involved in his disappearance and it has taken everything I have to be able to track the trail to here. His psychic aura was left behind, leaving a trail I was just barely able to detect til recently. I know I'm butting in on your school and other matters by taking up your time. But could you please tell me where he is? Or must I keep searching for him by myself without your permission." she said in a calm tone, that still showed her annoyance at being slowed in her search.

Upon hearing this tail, Duncan asked Kelly to come with him for now,as he contacted some other people to be gather up in his office. Kelly figured she might as well go along with him for now, given no other choice. It was only a matter of minutes til more people had shown up, gathered in the office and waiting to be filled in on what was going on. She spotted a raven-haired girl, one just a little older than her. An older man garbed in strange robes and giving off a powerful aura. And finally a young asian girl who looked concerned for some reason. This last one made Kelly almost jump out of her seat, her psychic senses showing that this girl had almost the exact same aura as Mark Kenson had. Confusion started to wash over her, her calm exterior being broken down.

"Okay, I want to know what is going on and I want to know now! Who is this girl, why does she have almost the exact same aura as Mark Kenson. Just what is going on here!" she cried out, the frustration of her search finally hitting her all at once, not knowing what to make of what she was seeing. Duncan Summers was able to get Kelly to calm down, going on to relate the story of how Maria Kuno had arrived at their school, along with the tale she had told them. Details on the magical coin granting his wish, but twisting it, altering reality and Mark to grant his wish. Kelly couldn't believe her ears, thinking they were making it up and worried she was going insane. Til Adrian Eldrich and Serena both told of how they could still detect a strong magical aura around Maria and she had just been told was true.

But all of this wasn't the hardest to take, what came next would be the true turning point in Kelly's life. Eldrich had further news for her, as he sensed she wasn't what she appeared to be. The life she had know up til this point was all a lie. She was genetically engineered, a human created artifically and designed to be able to develop psychic powers over time. Maybe even the prototype in a long-term plan. Her parents were merely agents of the organization who created her, placed to act as parents while all the while monitoring her activities for any sign of psychic powers. But her decision to keep her powers secret from her parents had saved her, they didn't expect to be outsmarted by a girl. Kelly was bowled over by this revelation, she just couldn't believe what she was hearing about her parents. They loved her, she knew it. But... she had never used her ability to sense their emotions, so would this be true. Her life was built upon nothing but lie after life, even her own parents weren't what they seemed. As she was about to break down, she sensed Maria's emotions and realized that what she was going through was nothing compared to what she had been through.

"What... what am I supposed to do now? Knowing this about myself now, along with the fact I'm the only one who seems to remember Maria as who she was before. What now?" she said, barely holding back the tears in her eyes. Thanks to the Freedom League and contact with the mayor's office, most of Kelly's problems were cleared up. Her fake parents were capture at their home, just as they were about to contact the organization with their finds. All records they had been keeping on her were found, which were handed over the Freedom League in the hopes of helping her out. All of her stuff was brought to the Academy, set up as a student and placed in the same dorm room as Maria. At the very least she had someone to relate to about having their torn out from under them. Maria hugged her, saying she was glad that least someone besides her remembered she existed as Mark Kenson for all those years.

Description:Kelly is an attractive young woman in her mid-teens. She has some good muscle tone with an athletic build. She has fair skin with her blue eyes that have a minor glow to them and ice blue hair that seems to crackle with energy from time to time. To anyone able to sense psychic powers or see auras she has a strong field of psychic energy around her, with a powerful aura.

She tends to wear a simple pair of slacks, a blouse or tee-shirt and a pair of simple tennis shoes. She wears light make-up and a few pieces of jewelry, prefering to keep her look simple. When training, she uses one of the regular student training uniforms, not ready to make an individualized one for herself just yet.

Notes
 Here is Transformer-Rebooted version. His background has been fleshed out with more detail. His game stats are basically the same, except for adding the Specialization feat, removing his Takedown feat and dropping the Device to give him Protection instead, since he forms the armored jumpsuit from the clothes he is currently wearing as needed. As always, feel free to find creative uses for his transmutation power, including bonding clothes to other objects, etc. He is known for using this power with an inventive mind. Although his Knowledge [physical sciences] skill is so high, he still must make the check and can fail on a roll of 1. It is included as it is a part of the power concept and not as a points break. If someone else were to learn how to transmute matter like Lucas can, they would have the same Flaw built into the power.

 His feats represent his natural abilities, trained abilities and combat skills he has learned. Never underestimate the value of any of them, even his Lightning Calculator which he uses to do the calculations in his mind for transmutation. He is a super-genius with advanced knowledge in many areas of science and technology, including some which would be considered "fringe" science. Despite his past setbacks, he keeps an upbeat attitude and always tries to do what is right. If not, he would make a very dangerous villain to face.

 He is fairly focused in the areas he specializes in, try to expand on these with future power points. Such as becoming more skilled in karate, katana fighting or alternate powers for Transmutation. Also buying more Knowledge skills in different sciences, instead of just using his Intelligence bonus to represent, is a good idea, as he is always learning. Eventually he will buy off the Check Required drawback on his Transmutation, as it becomes completely second nature to him.

Description of Powers:Due to cracking the formulas of quantum mechanics, he has figured out how to manipulate non-living matter and energy by force of will alone. This takes concentration to use as he focuses on the formulas used to rearrange matter and energy. With this he can change the shape, form and elemental composition of non-living matter. He can't inflict direct damage with this power, but can create many indirect effects by transforming the materials around a living target. From transforming the surface beneath a target to making the dust in the air into something else, his options are basically unlimited.

He has learned how to focus the transmutative energy through his katana so it can cut through even imprevious substances/targets. When needed, he can transform his current clothes into a tough armored jumpsuit which is still highly flexible. With time, he will more than likely learn how to make more such items to aid him.

History:
The Beginning of a Weird Interest
An obvious genius, even from an early age, Lucas showed a keen interest in how things worked. From the simplest of gears, to the most complex functions of living things, he wished to understand it all. Beginning to read at a very early age, he showed an aptitude for understanding words well beyond his years. By the age of 5 he had already read many books, both on physics and other forms of scientific study, all in an effort to learn how everything worked. Developing too quickly for the public schools, his parents sent him to a private school, one especially for gifted children. So engrossed in his studies, along with learning all he could from the school library's books, he would often miss school functions. Considered an outsider by most of the other students and even staff of the school, Lucas grew up keeping to himself mostly, living in his own little world and considered anti-social.

His main area of interest, the subject which drew him in, was physics and he just couldn't get enough information on it. To find out how objects moved, how things could fly and how the world worked, these were his true love. Over time this expanded, including the study of quantum mechanics, his belief that all of the questions about this world and how things world could be found using it. Most shocking of all is what he found online, several references of a possible link between quantum mechanics and the ancient science of alchemy. He could believe this had been hidden so deeply, it seemed most either gave up on the study or considered it too far out there to even be possible. By the time he turned 15 years old, young Lucas knew this would be the perfect challenge, one he couldn't pass up no matter how hard it became to prove true.

He couldn't believe it when he was hired on as an intern at only the age of 16, even though it was at one of the less reknown labs in Freedom City. He was mostly a "gopher" for the older scientists to start off with. Still he loved it, getting see such experiments in the progress. Working such hours with not much to do, this left him with plenty of free time, which he used to read up on all of the research at the lab. He continued to further his understanding in many subjects and areas, finding things in their research which even the most obscure of online sites had no details on. He was finally able to go to college, with the lab funding his further education, as they saw great potential in him. Lucas aced his classes with ease, keeping to his own private research most of the time while helping out at the lab. 5 years passed by, Lucas having become one of the most respected scientist at the lab and being put in charge of more projects.

Crazy Theories Lead to A New Life
His research was more closely regarded by the owners of the lab after all this time. Considered to be on the cutting edge and some beyond current conventions. But all too soon light of his private research came out. His theory that alchemy had been just an anicent form of quantum mechanics which had been lost over time, this is what would lead to his ruin. Quickly his reputation was ruined, considered a crackpot who was unstable, too unstable to be allowed to continue his work on such sensitive projects. Fired and told to clear out his office, he was devistated. All funding he had gained for projects outside of the lab were cut off, the final nail in the coffin of his respectable carrier.

It seemed at first no one would hire him, word of his "crazy" theories having gotten out into the academic and scientific circles fast. Til finally he found an opening at Freedom University for a physics professor, the perfect job for him. Having all the credentials required, all it took as an interview and a week later he was hired. Despite finding his new job not as exciting as what he did at the lab, he still loved it. The looks of earnest interests in the subject on his students' faces brought him joy, reminding him of himself when he was younger. Although some of the students seemed bored at first with the class, they were soon drawn in by Lucas' hands on style of teaching. By demonstraiting physics instead of just giving textbook explainations, he showed them how things worked in his own unique way. Soon the class became one of the most popular at the University, Mr. Elric sometimes having to turn away some over-eagar students who wanted "private study" with him.

But still his passion drove him on, as he continued his research of the connection between alchemy and quantum mechanics in private. It seems he had an unusual way of thinking about things, one which kept him from going insane as he pushed onward. Delving into areas of research, ones which other scientific minds couldn't reconcile with their own view of the world. 4 years pasted, as he continued to teach at the university, seeing students come and go. While Lucas finally had stumbled upon a major breakthrough in his research at last. A code, one hidden in the formulas of quantum mechanics, which reveled a hidden truth of the universe itself. All matter and energy were affected by human will and preception, shaping the world around us with collective belief. Such things as retro-psychokinesis and spoon bending gave proof of this, despite being considered fringe science and not a serious scientific area.

All it took was knowing the corrent quantum mechanic formulas, allowing anyone to affect matter and energy by their force of will alone, able to reshape and alter them. It seemed that sentient and sapiant beings were much harder to affect, resisting subconscious with their own strength of will. All records he could find showed that most people didn't even know of this, when the art of alchemy was still alive in the past. The knowledge was kept by a few, who feared what others would do with it should it be reveled. Thus the knowledge had been lost, swept away by the passage of time. But Lucas had done what no other could claim, he had rediscovered this secret knowledge. Now it would just be a matter of practicing it,before he would prove to all those who doubted him in the past how right he had been.

Destiny Drives Onward
The strain was immense at first, taking a lot out of Lucas simply to change even a small piece of paper. But over several months, of practice, study and trial and error, he learned how to focus his will to reshape matter and even to change energy. Becoming confident in his control over matter and energy, he went before the University board to present his findings. Only to be laughed out of the room the second he mentioned alchemy, refusing to hear anymore of his "crackpot" claims. Falsely claming he used university funds for his own private research, without any proof to back them up, he was fired on the spot. Despite trying fight it in court, even the judge thought he wasn't mentally fit to be teaching impressionable minds. As he stormed out of the court house, he transformed the gold watches of several university board members into lead, along with the gavel into cardboard. His own conscious prevented him from doing anything more to those who mocked him.

Once again because of this theories, Lucas was out of a job, despite having proof to back up this claims this time. The arrogant and closeminded fools simply wouldn't listen, afraid to have their view of the world shaken. Without a job and angry beyond belief, Lucas had been wish enough to set some money aside, able to stay in his apartment for the remainder of the month at least. As he spent a lot of time thinking over the matter, he had a lot of ideas on how to make money but known would be a good idea. Turning lead into gold and making a mint stayed on his mind for days on end. Only his own morals held him back, along with the stories of what happened to alchemists in the past, many destroyed by their own greed, drove this idea from his mind. But how would he get by, with all prospects block by those more reputable than he.

As he looked through the wanted ads, he finally saw what could be his salvation. An opening at a repair shop, the owner was looking for an apprentice. The old owner of the shop was one of the most skilled in the area, able to repair almost anything, no matter how worn down or damaged it was. But he could only do so much on his own, with some pieces laying untouched for days on end. Hired on after he showed knowledge of mechanics and electronics, Lucas began to work in the backroom, where he could be alone. Using his powers discretely to repair these items, the owner believed he was simply a gifted young man. The old man became fond of his new employee, seeing him like a son. Lucas was able to maintan work at the repair shop for almost a year, happy once again with his life. Somedays he was even allowed to take care of the store on his own, the old owner needing some time off. But it was the day the old owner was watching the front desk when things changed, as Fate intervened in Lucas' life once more.

Bad Luck, Hero Needs More Training
A man wearing a black mask came into the store, demanding the money and any valueables in the store at gunpoint, looking nervously over his shoulder from time to time. By some act of luck, at least in his mind, Lucas had been in the backroom and had not yet been noticed. Acting quickly to protect the man who had given him his life back, he transformed the gun into a simple toy squirtgun, before the shocked robber could realize what was going on. Seeing his plans had gone wrong, the robber tried to run for it, just the police showed up. He was placed under arrest, having already robbed two other stores in the area at gunpoint. Lucas stayed in the backroom, trying to remain unnoticed he reverted the gun back to normal.

But it seemed not all luck was on his side, as the old store owner had seen Lucas' eyes glow when the gun was transformed. Fearing what he couldn't understand, the old man thanked Lucas for saving his life. Then asked him to never come back, fearing Lucas' presense could draw more criminals if they found out what he could do. Distraught, Lucas at least understood his fear over the matter. Lucas had planned ahead this time, having saved most of the money he made over the last year, just incase such a thing happened to him once again. He seemed fated to never have anything go right, not where his powers and the knowledge of their source was concerned.

But Lucas realized something, he liked saving someone's life, using his power to protect. Thus he decided upon a new course in life for now, being a superhero for a living. He took to changing junk into valueable items, selling them to support himsefl while setting up a secret identity. He didn't see anything wrong with this, if the world decided he couldn't keep a job, then he would have to earn a living by other means. Transforming some old clothes into a black with silver streaks fullbody costume, along with making a mask to cover the top half of his face, he adopted the codename of Transformer. As he set out to become a hero, his first encounter would be a true test of the limits of his abilities. Going out on patrol, he found the villanous robot Talos on a rampage with no apparent reason, keeping the police at bay.

As he tried to transform the bronze giant, it seemed Talos was too resistant to his powers to change, having a sentience which made him much harder to affect. But he wouldn't give up without trying something else. Being creative, he knew he could at least try to slow down the giant's rampage. Transforming the street underneath Talos into rubber, it slowed him but not enough. He made a titanium cage form out of dust particles in the air around the giant, thinking it might slow Talos at least for a while. But he didn't know the limits of the giant's power and underestimated him, as the brone giant ripped the cage open, the proceeded to walk upon the rubber road without bouncing even a little, too heavy to be affected in such a way. He began to freak out, what could he do against such a being, without endangering innocents in the area. Acid might work, but there was too great a risk of triggering an accident to try that.

Running out of options, it looked like he would be killed on his first adventure. But hope came soaring in, as the Freedom League arrived on the seen. Despite his own thoughts to the contrary, even those few seconds he had slowed Talos down had saved his life. The giant was quickly subdued by the combined might of the Freedom League, brought low by a coordinated attack. Lucas didn't stay around to see what happened, not realizing this Talos was a duplicate robot but with no sentience, just programed to go on a rampage and distract the authorities and superheroes. As he left, he reverted everything back to normal, booking it as fast as he could before anyone could identity him or take note of his costume.

Testing His Mettle
After that fateful encounter, Lucaus realized that powers alone wouldn't cut it in this business. He would need more, including the ability to hold his own in a fight and be able to take a solid hit without going splat from just one. First, he looked in the local yellow pages, trying to find something which fit his temperment. A local karate class, just a few blocks from his new place, was the perfect thing. He focused on his new training with a dillegence not seen since he first began his research all those years ago. Months upon months, he worked through blood, sweat and tears, never giving up despite how hard it became. Finally he became a skilled fighter, feeling he could hold his own in a true fight. His sensei was only one of those shocked by his rapid progress, showing such advancement in a relatively short amount of time. Even showing a natural aptitude with the katana when weapons training began. With time and some testing, he foudn he could even focus his powers through the katana blade, making it able to slice thorugh even some of the most dense of substances. With this, he could take on the likes of Talos and be able to hold his own, instead of being forced to flee in the face of such strength. At least, that is what he thought.

Finally, he felt truely up to the task of being a true hero, instead of just a pretender with some power. Lucas set out onto the streets once more as Transformer, wishing to make a difference. Over the next couple of weeks, he was able to take out some thugs and low-level crooks, all without breaking a sweat. But it would be his true debute as a superhero to the public at large which would test his true mettle. Once again Toy Boy was attacking the city, this time taking a piece from Doc Otaku's book and using a giant mecha, all to prove he was better than that upstart kid. Transforming the street beneath the giant mech into jello cause it to quickly sink into the goop. Getting up close, he slashed the legs of the mecha with his katana, disabling its ability to move. Finally climbing up the side of its head, he found Toy Boy inside, frantically trying everything to regain control over his mecha. Only to find the controls turned to slag before his eyes and the mecha completely out of commision. Lucas couldn't believe it, he had stoped a supervillain on his own.

As Toy Boy was placed under arrest, Lucas was able to announce himself as Transformer to the press which showed up. Since that fateful day, he has worked to not only continue to stop normal thugs and crooks, trying to do as much good as possible, but faced supervillains as well. He has faced the likes of the Power Corps, agents of S.H.A.D.O.W. and even Doc Otaku himself, sometimes on his own and sometimes teaming up with other heroes. He held his own against them all and was making a name for himself, hoping the Freedom League might even call on him for help sometimes instead of just working together when they faced the same villain. Dream big, that was his motto and he lives up to it every day now.

Description:Lucas is around average in height and build for a man his age. He has a lean muscle tone, from his karate training. His eyes are gray but gleem with a spark of life, while he keeps his black hair trimed and neat. He has a few minor burn scars along his arms from working with dangerous chemicals and energies for years. He likes to keep himself clean shaven and present the look of a confident man.

He tends to wear simple outfits in his civilain identity, including jeans, tee-shirts and tennis shoes. In his identity as Transformer he changes his normal clothing into a black with silver streaks fullbody costume, including forming a black mask for the top half of his face. He can be seen wielding his katana in this identity and it seems to be made of a silver-blueish metal. He can create other items from things in his environment as needed.

Notes
 Here is Rapidfire-Rebooted version. His background has been fleshed out with added detail. His game stats are unchanged, as I could find nothing I would wish to add or remove. Another victim of the mad scientists who worked out of Freedom City Pediatrics, James still hasn't found out the truth of his birth parents' deaths. Nor does he know that some of these mad scientists are going to be coming after him very soon.

 His father trained him in police procedure from an early age, thus his skills in gathering information, first aid knowledge and tactical skills. His training also gave him some hand-to-hand combat skills and he can hold his own in a fight against normal thugs and goons. Without his powers he can still stand up to some thugs, armed with a pistol or ranged weapon he stands an even greater chance.

 With his "Psi-blasters", there aren't many opponents who can withstand his attacks. Even opponents too tough for his armor piercing shots to harm, he can use his mind bullets to by-pass their physical defenses. When given the time he will always use Improved Aim to target an opponent from a distrance. The only save he can't force with his "psi-blasters" is reflex, although with time this could change.

 All but the strongest or more skilled fighters won't be able to fight him, due to his "bullet-proof" skin. Baseball bats and such tend to shatter when they hit him, having their own force reflected back on them. Hitting this kid with your fist is worse than hitting a brick wall. His limited form of precognition may expand in the future, even allowing him to see into the future.

Description of Powers:Rapidfire has the psychic ability to manifest a pair of blue energy blasters in his hands. These can project different forms of energy bullets, from an armor piercer to a stunner and even mind bullets which ignore any physical defenses and attack the mind and will. He has several months of extensive training from his father in how to wield these blasters, putting the principles of using a pistol towards them.

His psychic abilties also manifested in other ways. He has a limited form of precognition which helps him to react more quickly and get out of the way of danger reflexively. His skin has also been infused with psychic energy, making it basically "bullet-proof" and shielding him from harm. His powers are still growing, there is no telling how strong they will get someday.

History:
Early Start For Fate
Born in Freedom City Pediatrics, Fate stepped in early in young James life. A tragic elevator accident took the lives of his parents, when the cable snapped without warning. Left an orphan when just a newborn, it seemed he would have a hard life from the start. But another couple, one whose son died only a week ago from an unknown condition after being released from the same hospital, adopted James shortly after this. Despite him being a Caucasian and them being African-American, he was treated well by their family, just one of the kids. His new parents lived in Midtown in Freedom City, making James stand out from his fellow students. He was picked on from an early age, both for the difference from his parents and for being a natural genius, which he was unable to avoid showing in school. Years pasted and James simply ignored their taunts, being told by his parents to be the better person. It seemed he was destined to always stand out from the crowd.

Finally old enough to attend high school, he went to Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, with the hope of having another chance to fit in at school. But this unfortunately wouldn't be the case, as he was once again picked on by the jocks and cheerleaders, more so than even in elementary and junior high school. Still taking the insults in stride, he never resorted to physical violence over name calling, only defending himself when circumstances forced otherwise. But some of the jocks wouldn't take the hint, trying at every chance to get him to lash out, just so they would have an excuse to beat him up. Their chance never seemed to come, as even the police who worked at the school kept them from going too far.

Time seemed to go by quickly, as James was soon a Junior and top of his class. He was stronger and tougher than ever before, having exercised and trained with his dad, a retired police officer, all with the goal of being as strong in body as he was in mind. Soon he wasn't picked on as much at school, even the jocks being intimidated by his new muscles and the news he had been trained by a retired cop. Still, things never stay the same for long, as a new threat soon emerged. A new gang moved into the area, one which wasn't afraid of his rep and decided to show him who ruled the area now.

Wolf Pack Strikes Out
While he was on his way home from school one day, James fell into a trap. He suddenly found himself cornered by several members of the Wolf Pack, a vicious gang known for using lethal force to get their point across. James wanted to run, rather than fight, knowing even with all of his training he was outnumbered. As he defended himself from attack after attack by the thugs, the stress of the situation began to get to him. Til finally something inside him click and he found in his hands a pair of glowing blue blasters. The gang members began to tire of this game and decided to finish it, as one of them pulled out a .44 magnum and took aim, despite his fellow gangers reaction. His goal was revenge for his father, as James' dad had sent his father to jail years ago, the charge armed robbery and injuring a guard. He didn't care what the others said about this just being a message, he was going to get payback.

But as he was fired upon, James found his reflexes acting on their own, as he dodged out of the way at the last moment, to the shock of everyone there, including himself. Enraged at this, as if he were being taunted, the gang member opened fire with a barrage of shots. But James's new ability allowed him to dodge each shot, til the last one somehow got lucky. Despite being hit in the right shoulder, Jame was shocked only to find a large bruise there. As the gang members looked on in fear, James had snapped finally, his anger overwhelming his reason. Lashing out, he opened fire with his new found energy blasters, taking them down in a barrage of rapidfire shots before the police could arrive. Only his own convictions kept him from killing anyone that day, as they were all unconscious but somehow unharmed.

As he rushed home in a panic, not knowing what to do or exactally what happened, he only knew of one thing to do right then. As he talked with his parents about what happened, showing them his energy blasters and even the bruised shoulder, he asked what do to. The speed at which everything was happening had left him confused and a little afraid of his new powers. With assurance that he hadn't done anything wrong, they said they would work with him to hone these new gifts. As his dad began to instruct him on how to use his energy blasters, just like how he he had trained him in regular pistols, he quickly showed a natural skill and accuracy with them. Even the trick shots, such as the ranged disarm, were no problem for him, as his dad demonstraited. But these powers came with some rules, such as never using them unless he was given no other choise or to protect others. His parents didn't want him found out and considered a freak, things were bad enough already without adding any more fuel to the fire. James took these words to heart, setting out to help the police take down the Wolf Pack, while hiding the shadows. The crime rate at his own high school soon dropped greatly, with James having earned himself a superhero name, courtesy of several members of the Wolf Pack. Rapidfire was a dangerous foe to deal with, as the Wolf Pack knew all too well.

Meddling Fate Steps in Again
Almost 8 months after the fateful day he gained his powers, James had managed to stay out of the press, with the exception being named by witnesses and criminal alike. This would soon take a new turn. As he took the long way home from school, he ended up passing by Millenium Mall when suddenly a loud crash came from inside. As he rushed to see what was going on, he spotted a group of criminals, Larceny, Inc. as they were in a fight against the Next Gen. The obvious leader, Trap Door, was trying to get his crew out of there, but Smash, a big bruiser, had flown into a rage and complicated things. As he tried to beat up on Megastar, his teammate Get-Away was busy dealing with Nereid and Seven, with Grab fighting off Sonic on his own. Talk about a bungled mess of a robbery.

Seeing that the Next Gen was outnumbered and not doing too well at the moment, he decided to step in and help from a distance. Using his "mind-bullet" mode of his blasters, he was able to take out Smash unseen by the others. This allowed Megastar to make quick work of Grab, with Rapidfire helping out unseen. But Get-Away was able to use her power to get them all over to Trap Door, as they escaped through a portal before anything could be done. As it seemed the fight was for nothing, and not wishing to be spotted, James decided to slip away once again, thinking his actions had gone unseen. But Seven had noted what he did, binding him with a spell before he could escape, then asked to know who he as. James knew this would be the end of his solo carrier as a hero. Taken away from the press after agreeing to talk, he went on to tell his story, freed from the bindings for now. After Seven asked if she could bring someone to meet his parents, James agreed, knowing he could trust them with his secret.

After his parents talked with Duncan Summers for what seemed like forver, they finally called in James to talk to him. He had explained to them about the Claremont Academy, a special school for kids like, where he could learn to control his powers better. Mr. Bennet had already agreed with his wife to him going there, as he couldn't teach James anything more and his regular school obviously wouldn't cut it. At least he knew his parents wouldn't be put into any further danger because of him. Within the week, they had James transfered to the Claremont Academy without any trouble. As he was shown around the grounds, he couldn't believe it. Like some kind of upscale prep school, he never dreamed of going to someplace like this. After he was finally settled into his dorm room, James decided to get some rest, able to relax knowing he was in good company here. He could learn how to be a true hero, instead of always having to deal with gang members.

Secret History
The truth behind his powers would come as a shock to James. He is another victim of the Genetic Empowerment Group, a bunch of ex-Power House scientists and doctors who worked in secret at the Freedom City Pediatrics hospital. Nothing more than a front for their illegal experiments, James had been one of the lucky ones who survived the experiments done on newborns. Exposed to unusual psychic energies and given an injection of what was believed to be a powerful mental catalist. But it was during the injection his parents stumbled upon the secret lab, seeing their baby boy being used as a guinea pig. They freaked out and attempted to rush to alert the authorities of the truth behind the hospital. They never made it to a phone. As they tried to use an elevator to escape, the cable was cut and they plummeted to their deaths, never knowing their baby boy would be safe.

James was one of those experimented on the longest, having been there for a week before Fate intervened. A young couple whose son died after two weeks because of the same mad experiments done on James, they got the paperwork done and adopted him soon after. All those years later, it was the stress and tension of being faced with death that triggered the dormant altered genes within him. But thanks to this James has a new worry to face. Several of the scientists and doctors escaped when the authorities broke into their hidden base, taking off with records of all the kids who had survived the experiments. They are even now going down the list, trying to finish up their experiments after all these years.

Description:James is an athletic young man in his mid-teens. He has an athletic muscle tone and fair tan from being outdoors a lot. His black hair is kept neat and his brown eyes have an innocent look to them, even if he is up to mischief. Despite his tough skin it appears and feels like normal human skin.

He tends to wear a simple black tee-shirt, a pair of worn jeans and black tennis shoes. While out on patrol or training he tends to wear a simple black domino mask to hide his identity.

 Here is Fable-Rebooted version. Her background has been fleshed with several details completely changed. Her stats have been left unchanged, couldn't think of anything to add or remove which fits her concept. An unusual magical being, she is human yet not human. Her fairy-like traits are listed as Feats because they are innate parts of her which cannot be nullified. Her connection to magic is also what gives her knowledge of it, as well as innate abilities with it. It is unknown what her magical heritage is yet, both her parents being normal humans.

 She may seem powerful and she is for someone so young. But remember she is inexperienced in being a hero of any sort. She will need training to hone these newfound powers and gifts. In particular don't go giving her more Spells without a good reason, as she will learn them with time as her powers grow. Especially since she will be getting some help from Serena Vervain aka Seven. Her Luck feat represents both her fairy guardians acting on her behalf but also her natural imagination and link to magical energy.

 She is fearless by nature, for unknown reasons even to her fairy guardians. She is unfazeable and will act calmly even in a heated fight. She can react at the speed of thought and her magical senses make sure she isn't caught off-guard easily. She can see magical auras through a natural gift, along with seeing through any form of deception or concealment.

 Her Benefit feat means she is a guardian to magical beings and those with magical powers. She will be drawn instinctively to any magical beings who is in danger or needs help. Think of it like Tuxedo Mask on Sailor Moon and how he is drawn towards the Scouts when they are in trouble. She doesn't understand this currently, nor does she know about her destiny yet.

 In a fight she will typically try to get one of the more powerful yet mentally weaker enemies on their side [Charm] or distract her teams foes with a glamour. Using the magical fog is normally reserved for when it wouldn't affect her allies. She will use more deadly force if needed or bind a target in mystical energy. If facing a magic-using/empowered foe she will dispell magic as soon as possible, making sure Seven isn't in the area of effect first. It is theorized that her magical heritage is at least partially linked to the fae, due to natural of her innate spells and gifts. Although the lack of a weakness to cold iron makes this hard to prove.

 The unknown dark master is the same dark entity mentioned in Psi-Blade's history. He is out to stop those with good magical destinies from thwarting his future plans. Fable is one of those targets still, as is Psi-Blade and many others. See Shadow Lord's write-up for details.

Description of Powers:Jenny has great magical potential which is only now beginning to awaken. She is able to dispell magic around her in a 50' radius at will, by means she isn't even sure of just yet. Due her partial link to fairies she has some of their magical abilties innately without training. These include charming people, casting glamours and making fog appear from nowhere to cloud vision. While she has more dangerous powers, she prefer the more low-key and less flashy for now. That is not to say she doesn't have any offensive spells. It is unknown if there are any limitations to the spells she could potentially learn, although necromatic and things of evil she will avoid at all cost, even if she could learn them.

She is capable of magical levitation to fly, leaving a trail of glittering fairy dust behind her. She can create a mystic barrier to shield herself from harm. Her sight is such that she can literally see magic, seeing it as an energy aura around whatever it is coming from. This mystical sight also allows her to see through any form of concealment, illusion or obscurement, see the true form of any disguised creature and see any deliberately hidden or concealed item. A true sight power if you will.

She has some other abilities due to her magical heritage as well. These include: An innate ability to lie as well as fascinate people with fables, a natural link to animals, having any spell she cast or ranged attack she makes magically guided to the target, magical warning to help her avoid attacks/danger, the ability to see in low-light conditions, immunity to diseases, unnatural level of luck, the ability to heal from a mortal wound quickly and a strong will and resistance to mind control. As a magical guardian she is drawn to any magical being who is in danger.

History:
A Touch of Magic
It was an auspicious night, as well as more than a little unusual, when Jenny was born. It was the night of a blue moon, but there was more to it, as if there was magic in the air. Her parents were a bit shocked when they first set eyes upon their little girl. For her eyes were so full and blue, it was like they mirrored the moon itself that night. She hadn't cried even once, only reaching out to touch her mother's face, giggling the whole time with a smile on her little face. All of this might have been overlooked as just proud parents and coincidence, except for the fact she was born with a strange birthmark on top of her right hand. A birthmark shaped and colored like a blue full moon. To any who paid close attention, it seemed to glow underneath the moonlight.

But what no one in the hospital, except for young Jenny, could have known was she had guardians watching over her. A group of fairies who had kept their presense unseen to all, except for Jenny and any other baby in the area, whose innocence could pierce the veil of their magic. Destiny had chosen great things for Jenny, unknown at the time exactally what to even the fairies. But all signs and portents pointed towards one thing, that she would one day help to save the worlds of both man and magical beings alike. But unseen to even her fairy guardians was a dark pressense, one which watched as the babe lay sleeping. Sensing the great good magical powers within her that would only grow with time, she was another barrier to his plans and his freedom. He wished to scare her family, scare them enough where they would move away from the city.

Sending in shadow trolls with orders to simply scare them, but do no harm, it seems the trolls were too dense to follow the orders. As the trolls raised their weapons, ready to kill the sleeping babe before she could become a threat, the guardian fairies lashed out. Troll after troll fell to the combined magical might of the fairies, each fading back into the shadows as they fell. Finally only two of the shadow trolls were left standing and wished to fell, only to be struck down by their master on the spot for their disobediance. Despite his shadow powers, he was not fully evil and would not see any child harmed or innocent killed. He realized he would have to find some other way to scare them out of town before the girl's magical powers could truely awaken. And use smarter minions from now on.

Growing Up Gifted
Years pasted as Jenny grew, her parents astonished with how bright she was. School was easy to her, but not wishing her to skip grades they placed her into gifted classes, where she still excelled. She was also very open and outgoing, having a natural charisma to her as a part of her magical heritage gained from the night she was born. So rare was her level of charisma, even the school bullies had a hard time not liking her, with a standing order to leave her alone. She even helped tutor her fellow students when she could, becoming a student aid in a 1st grade class at her request, all by the time she was in 4th grade. If not for her charisma, she might have been tormented for her obvious gifts.

But although she was liked by the kids in her school, it didn't keep others from making her a target. Some kids from the local high school would go out of their way each day, just to harass her on her way home from school. At first it was simply taunts, but would soon escalate. She had learned how to ignore them, knowing that what they said wasn't true, not even acknowlodging their presense. If only she had looked in their direction, even just once, she would have seen the truth. They weren't truely high school students, but shadow goblins sent by the dark master, their true appearance cloaked by a spell. But unknown to Jenny, she would have seen right through the spell if only she had looked in their direction, a part of her gifts. All part of the dark master's plan to drive her and her family from the area.

But it soon became apparent to her parents that no normal school could handle someone as gifted as their little girl, not even with the most advanced classes. Living just a few miles outside of Freedom City, it seemed despite this the school was destined to be underfunded. And thus they soon picked up and moved into Freedom City, into an apartment building in the Bayview area. It seems the dark master's plan had backfired, as they moved even further into the area which he wished they would leave from. Checking out any private schools in the area, they soon came upon the Claremont Academy, listed as a private school for gifted children. They could only hope this place would give their young girl the kind of challenge she needed. After meeting with the school owner, Duncan Summers, he at first was reluctant to allow her to attend, stating this school was for a particular type of gifted students. Til Serena Vervain showed up to talk with him and sensed something from Jenny. After whispering into Mr. Summers' ear, he relented and agreed to allow Jenny to go to his academy. Although this left the Walters confused as to why he had suddenly changed his mind, they were just happy their little girl had a place she could be challenged in.

The Dark Master Strikes!
All of the classes were great, the other students were for the most part really nice, although she sensed something was up about this school and felt like she was being watched from time to time. Which would be correct, as on orders from Duncan Summers, Serena Vervain was keeping a close eye on the young girl, trying to figure out the source of a strong magical aura she had detected around Jenny. Jenny meanwhile saw some unusual aura around several of her fellow students, while some looked different from normal humans. She thought it was all just her imagination and didn't let it get in the way of enjoying herself. But a threat had followed her once more and this time she was in true danger. The fairies knew the truth of the Claremont Academy and the protections it had, thus let their guards down, thinking their charge was safe in these hallowed halls. As they left her one night in her dorm room to atttent a council meeting of the fairies, the dark master saw another chance to strike, this time with more force to ensure her parents would move out of fear.

As she began to drift off to sleep, he opened a portal into the mortal world, sending a group of his most powerful shadow gargoyle minions into the same hallway as Jenny's dorm room. Tracking her strong magical aura down, they proceeded to claw the door apart, finding themselves unable to simply open it. Jenny was jolted fully awake by the noice and went to see what was the cause, hoping it was just something like a wild animal which had gotten loose in the hallways. Fate it seemed was watching over her as well, for she would have surely been dead had Serena Vervain not turned the corner just then and spotted the monsters. As the door began to open, Serena sprung into action, blasting the gargoyles, as one after another fell in magical flames. But there was only so much she could do on her own, taking down only 2 of the group of 6 before Jenny finally opened her door and saw them.

She didn't know if it was fear or something else, but Jenny felt something dormant inside her awaken, her long sleeping magical powers finally unlocked. Her eyes suddenly glowed with an intense white light, as energy bolts fired from her hands without any action on her part, turning the gargoyles to dust. But the strain of tapping into her powers after so long, along with the stress of the situation, was too much for Jenny. She collapsed unconscious from unleasing her full magical might at once, her subconscious tapping into them without restraint. Serena lifted the young girl and placed her head in her lap, shocked by how such a young girl could have such magical power without any training. Several students had come out to see what was going on, which Serena told them to go get the headmaster. The dark master fumed in his private dimension, knowing it was far too late to stop the awakening of this girl's power. All he could do now was bid his time and make plans.

Veil Lifted, Magic Revealed
When Jenny awoke, she found herself in the headmaster's office on a sofa, wondering what was going on. As she looked around, she saw that Serena was there, along with headmaster Duncan Summers, with a look of concern on each of their faces. Serena explained what had happened and what she had seen, Jenny couldn't believe it. How could she have such a power within her and not even know about it. But Eldrich was brought in and figured a way to draw out the magical energy within her, finally showing ehr the truth. She couldn't believe it, why her and why now. The only explaination she could come up with was the strangeness of the night of her birth, the night of a blue moon which she recalled even all these years later. Although she didn't know the full explaination for her magical powers, Eldrich didn't wish to pry and find out the truth before she was ready. To do so could prove disasterous.

Jenny had been the only student who didn't know the truth of the school when she was enrolled, to protect her til they understand her magical aura. Finally everything was revealed, why the school existed and its true purpose which few knew. This was a safe place for those youths with powers to learn how to use them responsibly, youths like Jenny. Strangely enough Jenny didn't freak out as was expected with such big news. She simply agreed it would be a good idea to learn how to use her new powers, while in a safe place from whatever forces were after her. Duncan was a little taken aback, most kids were never this calm in the face of such major news and a change in their lives. But it seemed that Jenny was far from being an ordinary girl and not simply because of her magical powers.

All seemed normal the next day, as she went to classes as usual with no changes so far. Til it came time for gym class. She was placed in a training session with some other students, one designed to help them learn how to concentrate and gain better control of their powers. It was a form of meditation which Jenny had never hear of or read about, the teacher having learned it someplace hidden from the world. She took to it with a rare zeal, happy to have a new focus in life and knowing it wouldn't be so ordinary anymore.

Description:Jenny is an attractive young girl. She has fair skin with no blemishes at all, except for her blue moon birthmark on the top of her right hand. Her blue eyes shine with a look of hope even in the most dire of situations and her blond hair is kept long, going all the way down her back. She has never worn any make-up, liking her natural looks.

She tends to wear simple blue slacks and a light blue blouse, alternating between simple tennis shoes and flats. She wears blue crescent moon earrings most of the time as they are her favorite pair, ones given to her by mysterious individuals. She tends to wear little jewelry except for her earrings and a blue moon necklace, another gift, this one on the day of her birth, from unknown individuals. She tends to wear a light blue cloaak with a hood, with a simple blue domino mask, to conceal her identity when needed and training.

Notes
 Here is Starburst-Rebooted version. Her background has been fleshed out with a lot more detail. Only stat changes are: Getting the effect of Enviromental Adaptation [zero gravity] due to her powers, the Untapped Potential and Speed-Reader feats, 2 more ranks of Mind Shield and a Bane. Using a cosmic energy nullify on her acts as a blast instead, severely disrupting her energy and causing her harm. An unusual alien lifeform, she doesn't know the true origins of herself or have any memories from before she woke up in the infirmary in the Claremont Academy. The Secret complication is even a secret from her, as she doesn't remember what she is.

 As a Starseed she is virtually immortal, almost no way to permanently kill her is known short of a plot device, such as destroying the universe so there is no cosmic energy for her to tap into. She will come back to life after one day if killed, able to heal herself from even the most severe of wounds using her cosmic power. She can instinctively use her cosmic energy for many things and has only started to scratch the surface of her potential. Given time she will learn how to directly absorb cosmic energy into herself or draw it from a source [Absorption [Energy] with [-1 Cosmic Energy only and Power Magnet]. She does this with ambient cosmic energy already, subconscious.

 She is interested in many subjects and eager to learn, shown by her knowledge of current events, history and even popular culture. Her unique energy state in a solid form makes her able to imprint things with ease, thus the Eidetic Memory and Speed-Reader feats.

 Although a powerhouse she is still learning about the world around her. Adding more Knowledge ranks or new Knowledge skills, feats related to knowledge or learned abilities, etc. are good ways to expand her. She loves to hang out in low orbit around the Earth, just relaxing in the calm of space. Although she has been known to visit the Moon and Farside City, not as much these days as Lady Lunar has started to take an interest in her.

Description of Powers:Starburst is an alien teenager, whose body naturally absorbs, stores and can unlease cosmic energy in many ways. The main form is as blast of pure cosmic energy with incredible force. She can boost her natural abilties by channeling the cosmic energy through her body, form solid objects out of cosmic energy, channel primal cosmic energy to heal injuries for both herself and others, and teleport vast distances by bending space. She can also channel this energy to fly at extreme speeds including through space by creating a space fold to travel at 250x lightspeed.

Her power cosmic gives her some additional capabilities including: the ability to surround herself with a glowing white force field of incredible strength, able to survive in any environment, and the ability to speak, read and understand all languages as well as be understood by anyone. She has great untapped potential that she can sometimes draw upon, becoming much stronger for a short period of time.

History:
Mysterious Child, White Light
Sometimes Fate works in very strange ways. Such as the case which began 7 years ago. A young child with glowing white eyes was found in a crater in the gardens of the Claremont Academy. She had no memories whatsoever of who she was, where she came from or how she came to be there. Only possessing basic knowledge, along with an instinctive ability to control the incredible cosmic energy she wielded. With the aid of the Freedom League and Star Knights, no answers were found as to who this young girl was, all leads coming up empty. Even with their records of most known alien species, even the Star Knights had no record on such a race of beings. All tries to detect where she came from deadended, she was an enigma, scans upon her being giving no clues, as her own cosmic energy blocked out any background radiation she may have picked up.

And thus with no known way of contacting her parents, nor to find her home world so she could be with her own people, the 8 year old girl was placed in the care of the Claremont Academy, with Duncan Summers as her legal guardian. In the mean time both the Freedom League and Stars Knights continued to check out any new leads on this unusual young girl. When asked her name, she said she didn't know it and was given the choice of what she wanted. Finding the name Jennifer to sound very pretty, she took it and soon was placed into regular classes. She began to settle into the school quickly, finding things easy and absorbing knowledge like a sponge. She was given special shades to hide her alien glowing eyes from the normal students, helping to keep the truth behind the school safe. She loved to read in any free time she was given, finding any new bits and pieces of knowledge she learned to be fascinating.

But her cosmic powers began to become a problem, as they grew in strength without her learning how to better control them. Soon it became impossible to hide her true nature from the normal students, as the cosmic energy leaked from her body, making her glow with white light. Scrambling in a hurry, both to protect her and the school's secret, they can up with a cover story for the normal students and their parents. They explained she was an alien child who had been sent by her parents to learn about human culture. The parents and normal students believed it, having seen other aliens on Earth before and not finding it hard to take. Asked to keep this from the public at large for her safety, they all agreed it would be for the best. She lived a normal life for the most part from then on, acting like a normal, alibet gifted, child. But this kind of things can stay hidden for only so long. On her 12th birthday, things would get harder, as the press caught wind of the alien child.

Press Forced Back
Waiting outside the school gates, all in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the alien girl and make a name for them by breaking the story to the public. Things looked bad, til Mayor O' Connor stepped in with the aid of the Freedom League. Before the press and gather public, he declared that Jennifer was to be left alone, along with the Claremont Academy. They didn't wish to risk an intergalactic incident by harassing her, which would upset her people. Pretty soon most of the press had backed down, all except for a few diehard freelancers who considered her free game. They tried time and time again to sneak into the school, only to end up arrested each time. This didn't stop them from trying, as Jennifer didn't get a moment's peace when she was outside on the school grounds.

Soon she tired of all the extra attention, like some kind of circus act, so she took to flying into space for some peace and quiet. But this would come back to haunt her later, as she absorbed more and more cosmic energy, much more than ever before. Although she had learned how to control and channel her power in new ways, even she wouldn't be prepared for when the next surge happened. As she continued her education, she became close to many of the students, great friends with some. She was even a part-time member of the Next Gen on their adventures, sneaking out when she could. This unfortunately encouraged the press into growing more bold and soon pictures of her were the press. The pubic at large had learned about her, yet most honored the mayor's order to leave her and the Claremont Academy in peace.

Alien Threats Come Seeking Power
By the age of 14, she had grown to be a lovely young lady, appearing to be mostly human, with the exception of her glowing white eyes. She continued to excel in all of her classes and was known as a bookworm, despite all of the power she has. The fences and security of the Claremont Academy still didn't discourage some of the freelance press members from trying to find out more about her, always ending up caught before they could get past the main doors when they were able to sneak onto the school grounds. This only increased with time, as more desperate freelancers trying to make a quick buck came. She took to relaxing in space more often, finding it the only place she could get peace and quiet anymore. This act was both an unknown blessing and a curse in disguise, as she was floating out in space when the next surge of power came. At the age of 14 years old Jennifer had grown to be a lovely young lady, appearing to be mostly human except for her glowing white eyes. She excelled in all of her classes and was known to a bookworm despite all of the power she has. But still some of the freelance press members tried to find out more about her, sneaking onto school grounds and being caught before they could get past the main doors. Jennifer took to relaxing in space for peace and quiet, which would save many lives when her next surge of power came but draw new threats to the Earth seeking her.

Floating along and just loving to look at the stars in the distance, the energy surged within her without any warning, coming out in a powerful burst that lit up the sky all over the Earth. It seemed the threat was over for now, as she was put into more training sessions back at the Academy, all as an outlet to burn off the excess cosmic energy she built up over time. But her power surge had unknowingly alerted new threats, ones which were heading towards earth in search of its source. In only a few months, those threats would emerge, requiring even more training and even the intervention of the Freedom League before it was over.

The first to arrive was Blackstar, showing up in Freedom City on orders from the still recovering Omega. The mad god-entity wished to capture the source of such energy and use it as a battery for a doomsday weapon. It was only with the aid of the Next-Gen and the current Star Knight he was driven off, vowing to return soon. But he was the least of the threats coming after the source of cosmic energy they detected, all with their own nefarious schemes for its use. The Factor Four's leader believed he could use the cosmic energy to allow them to retain their powers but be able to return to their human forms at will. Talos sought the cosmic energy as a fuel source to use in the creation of new, more powerful robots than ever before. The Power Corps were hired by unknown parties time after time to capture the power source. The Curator knew the truth of what Jennifer truely was and knew she was the source of the cosmic energy, seeking to place her in his "protective" custody. Hades thought to have Jack-A-Knives to possess her, to become the ultimate killing machine, only to fail for unknown reasons. Even Mastermind came after her, not stating his reasons and saying only he would understand them anyways. The list went on, as repeated attempt to capture her continued, especially after the try by the Curator revealed she as the source of the cosmic energy.

It seemed the threats came and went for over a years time, only with the aid of the Star Knights and the Freedom League able to keep Jennifer safe. But it wasn't known why she was being soght after by so many, with no clues to her origin having been revealed yet. More threats were standing in wait, wishing for her powers to grow and mature til they would try and capture her for their own schemes. But for now Jennifer knew one thing, she was destined to have a very interesting life but also to have good friends to help her along the way.

Secret Origin
Jennifer's memories from before showing up on the Claremont Academy grounds are still a mystery, garbled in the mist of time. She didn't know the truth of who she was, but the truth would shock her to know. She is a Starseed, a living entity born from a supernova who possesses immense power over cosmic energy. All were virtually immortal, with Jennifer going to physically age til she reached 21 years of age, then stop physically aging altogether. She doesn't know she is effectively immortal, that she would be reborn if killed as her physical state would be restored by latent cosmic energy in the area. There was no known way to permanently kill a Starseed, short of universal annihilation.

Starseeds are rare beings, the last known one being "born" over 1000 years ago, before Jennifer came along. Most beings have no idea of their existance, with those few who do tending to seek them out, either to protect them or exploit them for their own ends. Very few beings in the history of the universe have come to know the truth about Starseeds, let alone that Jennifer is one. These include Omega, who sent Blackstar after her, several of those who hired The Power Corps to do their dirty work, the Curator, Mastermind and even Star-Khan and Una. The last two are bidding their time, waiting til her powers grow and mature before they go after her, each with their own dark plans for the young girl. More beings may know of her true nature and just haven't tried anything yet, only time will tell.

Jennifer was "born" from a supernova which happened lightyears away from Earth, unnoticed by most each for a few scientists in the sector. She took to wandering the stars, visiting all the worlds she could find and learning everything she could. She never stayed long, as wanderlust drove her on to explore new places each time. This wouldn't last for long, though. As at the age of a meer 8 years of age, alien warmongers began to chase her through space, intent on using her powers for their own. After crossing 5 star systems, they hadn't given up and decided continueing the chase was a waste of time. Firing upon her with a powerful energy blast, intent on knocking her out, she reflexively folded space to teleport, being knocked unconscious at the last moment as she slipped from their grasp finally. The space fold opened near earth, where she drifted in space outcold, finally being drawn in by its gravitational pull. In a blaze of light, she fell like a meteor towards the ground, crashing down in the gardens of the Claremont Academy, where she was found. The force of the impact and attack upon her being causing partial amnesia which last to this day.

Description:Jennifer is an attractive young woman in her mid-teens. She has a golden tan, almost true gold in color. Her eyes are a glowing white, as the cosmic energy within her shines out. Along with her shoulder-length red hair with white streaks, she is an exotic beauty.

She tends to wear a pair of simple blue jeans, a blue blouse and a pair of blue flats. While training or out on patrol she tends to wear a simple light blue bodysuit with a mask to hide her identity. Not that it does much good, once someone notices her eyes.

Notes
 Here is Sunray-Rebooted version. His background has been fleshed out with more detail. His stats have changed in several ways, including making his combat stats more a part of his powers and not from training of any sort. His Flight has been increased by 2 ranks, along with an alternate power to turn into pure light and travel at lightspeed short distances. He is immune to normal heat and radiation now and can concentrate to turn off his immunities when he wishes to. His laser blast now is Penetrating but can't cause knockback. And he has a partial-light state which gives him several feats now. An unusual individual, he has only scratched the surface of his potential. His sunlight-based powers have the capability to become extremely powerful. His flight speed alone is currently limited by his own psychological hang-ups, fearing travelling at true light speed while not in a temporarely light state.

 He has few options, having no training and being a new hero with no past combat experience. All of his feats represent natural talent more than training or skill. His acrobatics skill represents his natural agility and sense of balance. His combat abilities are more a part of his powers than anything else.

 He prefers to rely on his powers, as that is the majority of his capacity. He can strike from hiding and at range, blinding targets with a light beam or causing a white-out if he is fighting without any teammates/allies, keeping his light field up and striking hard and fast. He will also try some new stunts with his powers given a chance, loving to try new things.
Without his powers he is basically an average teenager with a few options. If he gets too cocky just put him up against someone who can nullify/counter his powers.

Description of Powers:Allen was genetically modified by unknown aliens. These modifications were forcefully activated and linked to light/solar energy when the solar panel hit him with the intense sunlight. Thus he can absorb sunlight, either harmlessly to himself or even to heal his own injuries. He can generate sunlight in a 10,000 ft. radius at any point within 1,100 ft. of himself. He can focus this sunlight into many effects, although only has a few natural ones so far. These include a laser beam of intense power, a blinding beam of sunlight, causing a blinding white-out over an area of 10,000 ft. radius or even create a sword made out of sunlight that can rip through even impervous defenses.

He can fly using sunlight to lift himself into the air at speeds of up to 2000 mph, travel short distances [up to 5 miles max currenlty] at lightspeed while in a sunlight form, as well as generate a powerful force field of solid light around himself. By bending light around himself he can become invisible to normal visual senses. And his own vision has been enhanced, allowing him to see in low-light conditions and even at night by the light of the stars or using other sources of UV light.

History:
Strange Dreams...or Are They Truely Dreams?
Just looking at him, Allen seemed like the typical kid growing up in New York, hanging out with his friends and enjoying all the sights while he could. He was a latchkey kid, his parents working for corporations and being left alone most of the time, with only some neighbors to check in on him from time to time to make sure he was okay. Forced to grow up quick, he learned how to do a lot of things for himself at an early age. All seemed fine, until the night the strange dreams began. He was being held down on a table, phantom beings with large, black inky eyes gazing donw on him, while performing painful experiments upon him. He would wake up in a cold sweat and screaming each time, his parents thinking it was simply nightmares.

Allen bought into this and brushed them off as simple nightmares, something his subconscious brought on and nothing truely serious. At least at first this is how he treated them. But after over 3 months of the same reoccuring nightmares, along with restless sleep that was disrupting his school work, his parents became concerned. Finally bringing him to see a psychologist in the hopes of helping him, nothing wrong could be found with him. Not even using hypno-therapy was able to bring to the surface the cause of his nightmares. His grades still suffered as he would keep waking up in a cold sweat, screaming like his insides were on fire. Several months of this and finally the nightmres became less frequent, qhich the psychologist took as a good sign. Declaring Allen cured, his parents' minds were finally put at ease. But it seems the psychologist was guliable, as Allen had lied to him outright. The nightmares hadn't stopped, Allen had simply learned how to deal with them on his own terms.

Fun in the Sun
Allen didn't know the source of his own nightmares still, as he grew up and learned to toughen his mind against them. Growing older, he became withdrawn from most people, with the exception of his longtime friends. Although school was easy for the young genius, he tended to keep to himself as much as possible, not wishing to be teased simply for being smart. This continued on for years, his parents not even knowing of his troubles, as the teachers hadn't informed them. But all of this would soon come to an end, his freshman year of high school being the turning point of his life. .

While out on a school field trip, out to a solar "farm" just outside the city, Fate stepped in. While outside and looking at one of the huge solar panels, a support beam began to break without warning. No one else seemed to notice, heading off with the tour guide as their teachers said to. But Allen wished to examine the panels some more, going over to take a closer look but trying to keep his distance from the massive mirrored panels. Suddenly the panel's support bent, causing it to tilt at an angle, focusing all of the maginified solar energy down upon Allen before he could react. As the other students looked back at the sudden loud noise, several students screamed, thinking that Allen was being cooked alive. But instead it seemed he was absorbing the solar energy harmlessly into his body, even finding a cut on his shoulder from earlier that day healed suddenly. He felt energized, like he could do anything, all because of the solar energy being soaked up by him.

The school board worked quickly to silence the incident, not wishing the local media to find out, nor for the parents to know one of the children had almost been killed on the field trip. Avoiding a lawsuit, it seems the students decided on their own to keep things quiet, not thinking that anyone would believe what happened to Allen. They all thought it was a fluke, a one-time incident or miracle which saved his life. But back at home, Allen found the event had a more significant affect upon him than he originally thought. His eyes had turned a light shade of yellow, now looking like tiny suns. Trying to brush off the event and keeping quiet about it to his parents, he layed down to sleep. Falling asleep quickly, the nightmares were back and more intense than ever before. The image of the strange beings came into focus this time, some of what they were saying making sense to Allen, at leaast while in his dreams. It seems they were scientists from another world, sent her to test the limits of human potential using genetic modifications and experimentation. What's more, it seemed their last visit was around 60 years ago, when they had taken 2 adult males!

Enlightened Awakening
Allen woke once again in a cold sweat, the shock of finding his nightmares had all been repressed memories jolting him awake. But the shocks just came on coming, as he found himself floating 3' over his own bed, surrounded by an aura of sunlight. It was like he was a living sun now, able to generate his own sunlight but it seemed to only have minor heat, otherwise his room would have burst into flames around him. Looking over towards a wall mirror, he saw his eyes were glowing now, with the same sunight as his body was now. He began to freak out and suddenly fell back onto the bed, the glow ending just as suddenly. He couldn't believe it and only knew of one thing to do. Rushing to wake up parents, he began to relate the tale of all that happened. Of how his nightmares were repressed memories and what had done to him. Just when they were starting to shake their heads and think he was dreaming this all up, he finally explained about the accident at the solar "farm" and what he woke up to.

It was a lot to take in at once, the truth being found out after all these years, but it was so far out there they had a hard time believing him. Til his father began to recall stories his own father had told him, about World War 2. Two of the heroes of the war, known as Sergeant Shrapnel and Allen Wrench, had both gained powers from alien experiments done on them. With the information provided, it seems these could be teh same aliens, back again and performing experiments on their own son and who knows who else. Their only lead was Allen's grandfather, as they contacted him and asked for any information he had on Sergeant Shrapnel and Allen Wrench he could recall. But a roadbump hit their investigation, as all such information was classified top secret, kept in a secret location. It seemed no help was to be found....yet.

A friend of Grandpa Banks and fellow soldier during the war, living in a resting home, came to their aid. He had used to work in the military back during WWII, knowing a little abut Sergeant Shrapnel and Allen Wrench. The only helpful information on them he knew, one which ended the search of Allen and his father, as that the aliens involved had never been discovered, nor how completely the experiments had changed the two men. The weekend over, it came time for Allen to go to school once again, all the while wondering about his fate, what would happen to him now. Were the aliens lying in wait, watching their experiment in action or had they simply left him alone, thinking their experiment had failed after all these years.

Transfer Student to Freedom City
But it seemed taht Granpa's old friend had connections in high places, knowing an old friend from near the end of his military service who could help the young man. "Ray" Gardener, aka Captain Thunder, answered the call of his old friend and was happy to hear from him. As he heard the tale of Allen and what happened to him, he knew just what to do, especially if those aliens might come back. Duncan Summers was contacted and informed for the situation, who in turn contacted the Banks and set up a meeting. He offered Allen a place at the Claremont Academy, a place where he could still get a normal education but could also learn how to control his gifts alongside other students his own age. Allen would hate to leave his friends here, but knew it was for the best. What if the aliens came back, next time they could abduct one of his friends and do even worse to them. Thus he packed up and headed off to the airport, waving goodbye to his parents as the plane took off, wonder how long it would be before he saw them again. Picked up at Freedom City airport by a black car, he was driven to the Claremont Academy gates, seeing a school like none he had ever known.

After having a meeting with Duncan Summers, who explained the rules of the academy and how it was a secret from the public at large, he was shown around the school grounds by one of the older students. After finally settling into his dorm room, he was fitted for his own uniform, one which would be specially designed to adapt to his powers as needed. Allen was diving in head first into a new world, one he had only dreamed of before and read in comics. Very soon he would have his first training session in the Doom Room. But first came something he might find harder...normal classes and dealing with some of the more obnoxious students there.

Description:Allen is a somewhat athletic but basically a normal 14 year old kid. His perviously normal blonde hair has become platinum blonde due to his powers, along with his eyes having turned yellow which glow like tiny suns. He has a fair tan from being outside a lot and no other distinguishing marks. His energy signature is stronger than normal, as the solar energy his body absorbs makes his body tempurature higher than normal.

He tends to wear a simple blue tee-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a pair tennis shoes. He doesn't vary this outfit much, except for when training with his powers. His uniform is a light black number with a glowing yellow sun at the center of his chest. It includes a shades-style mask with yellow lens to hide his eyes.

Notes
 Here is Silentstrike-Rebooted version. His background has been greatly fleshed out with added details. His stats are unchanged, as I couldn't find anything which I would add or remove from him. In his prime Silentstrike had: STR: 20 [+5], DEX: 24 [+7], CON: 20 [+5], INT: 17 [+3], WIS: 18 [+4] and CHA: 16 [+3]. As you can see his age has caught up to him, but he is still in great physical shape for someone his age, both due to the serum slightly retarding the effects of physical aging (not enough for even 1/2 aging though) and the intensive exercise regime he keeps himself on. It is due to the serum's affect upon him he doesn't have a Disability or any other drawback someone his age might.

 His skills are varied as he worked as both a spy to steal plans for enemy weapons and sabotage of enemy installations. He had more equipment back then, including explosives beyond shaped-charge ones and any other gear needed for a mission. His connections in the government are still open as needed, having many old friends still in high places.

 His main form of attack back during WWII and the Korean War were a heavy pistol with a silencer, he still has the same one to this day but has upgraded it some over the years. He can hold his own against street punks in a hand to hand fight, especially using his walking cane to help trip them up or throw them. He prefers to avoid fighting if he can help it, feeling his age and knowing that a lucky shot could take him out. He has one word of advice for his new students: Never underestimate your opponent.

 He has kept tabs on organizations and superhero/villain groups over the years, thus his Well-Informed feat. His skills in stealth and espionage haven't dulled with age, even in retirement he was keeping up on what was happening around him.

 His powers give him a great edge in his area of expertease. Not only can he sneak up on a foe without them hearing him, but he can mask all sounds in a 250-ft radius around himself at will making it difficult if not impossible to warn others even if they spot him. His granddaughter developed a different power other than this, finding herself immune to any sound-based damaging attack.

Description of Powers:The Project Patriot serum had completely different result than those on Patriot. They gave Frank enhanced physical abilities but dexterity and agility moreso than others. He can cancel out all sounds he made at will, as well as create a sound dampening field of counter-sound over a 250-ft. radius around himself.

His extensive training made him an exceptional spy even without his powers. He still retains some of the enhanced physical abilties he had in his youth, although they have weakened with age and time. He has gained experience, skill and wisdom to compensate for the weakening of his physical abilities.

History:
Sight Unseen
An orphan caused by the 1st World War, Frank's father died fighting for his country overseas, while his mother died of a broken heart and lung cancer less than a year later. He was a rambunctious youth, far too fast, agile and good at hiding from the nuns running the orphanage to keep him under control. Even the usual punishments didn't work on him, as he felt the pain of losing his parents was far worse than anything they could ever do to him. Always getting into a lot of trouble, he would sneak off on his own away from the orphanage for some fun, sometimes even stumbling upon secret building areas in the city which were normally hidden. He saw the city as a fun dungeon to play in, like some hero out of a fantasy story. It helped that the bombs falling overhead sounded to him like the footsteps of massive monsters. Only by living in his own fantasy world and doing what he wished despite what others said was he able to avoid the truth and confront his parents' deaths head on.

But soon those troubles would be something of the past, as one on of his trips he stumbled upon a hidden Nazi based, stationed in an old abandoned building not but 1 mile from the orphanage. Thanks to the combination of his small size, speed and natural stealth he was able to escape unnoticed. Altering the authorities, they raided the base and none of the Nazis escaped. Frank was awarded a medal for his quick thinking and bravery. While an agent of the government told him he would come back someday, with a bigger reward for the boy than he could possibly imagine. The remainder of his youth from that point on was fairly uneventful, living during the Great Depression and having to survive on what little food he could scrounge up.

Once he was old enough, he joined the military, to honor the memory of his father. He trained hard to become a true soldier, wishing to be a hero like his father was to him. This helped him get through the Depression, allowing him to do so without having to resort to less than honorable means. And by the time World War 2 had started, he was stationed in a base in Nevada. Helping to train the new recruits and drafties for the war effort. Glad to be helping in any way he could, he still felt he could do so much more for his country, like his father had. Seeing the young troups being sent off to fight on the front lines, he yearned to go with them, but knew due to a minor heart problem had been held back here.

Superspy Agent Made
It would be til the government showed up again in his life, with an offer he felt he couldn't refuse. Project Patriot, designed to create super-soldiers for the war, top-secret to all but the top brass and Frank was being asked to join it. Here was his chance to aid his country, to become a true hero. The test went on for a while, before finally they injected him with an experimental serum. He reacted strangely to it, slipping into a coma for over a month. Upon waking up, he tried to talk to the military brass who were there for a check up, ony to find all sounds being obscured by unknown means. It took him several hours, but Frank was finally able to concentrate and will this, what did they call it, counter-sound field to shut down. The top brass were excited, despite him not reacting as their other successful test subject had, his new gifts would be a great aid in the war effort.

Only one other man was known to be a success with the serum, as he became dubed by the government Patriot, one of the new super soldiers. While Frank, with no remaining family, nor any connections to speak of, had all records of his existance erased, becoming a ghost. Given extensive training, it seemed more than just the stealth field had been gifted to him, as with his natural talents and past experience to aid him, he would be the ultimate spy. Performing spy missions for the American government and acts of sabotage behind enemy lines, he was the super agent Silentstrike. A virtual ghost with no records to trace him with and who made no sound as he ambushed you.

All throughout the 2nd World War, as well as the Korean War, Silentstrike became vital to the war efforts. Stealing enemy plans, sabotaging secret weapon programs of the Nazis, and helping to free captive allies, no one ever saw his face the whole time. His involvement was never known to the public at large, only the highest members of government and military knowing he existed, as he had to be kept top secret for the sake of national security. Frank didn't care for glory or fame, all he cared about what doing his part and being a hero like his father was. With the first jet fighters delayed in its creation by several years, thanks to Silentstrike destroying all plans and records of it and sabotaging any Nazi run factories he found, thinks became better for the Allied forces. But to Frank it seemed like both wars had ended quicker than they actually did. He was given a medal of honor in a private ceremony for all of his work, finally allowed to retire from the spy business and settle down to what he hoped would be a normal life.

Normal Life, Normal Family
With his past identity erased, he took the last name of Sonders, retiring to a small suburb in Freedom City. Frank met and fell in love with a young nurse, Rebbeca Millar. A raven-haired beauty with piercing blue eyes that showed her gentle nature, her compassion drew Frank in. Dating for a while, they learned a lot about each other, although Frank was forced to keep his past work a secret, something still haunts him to this day. Several months pasted, after a whirlwind romance they wed in a private ceremony with only family and friends. Frank couldn't believe how lucky he was, despite losing his parents at a young age his life had become a dream come true. Even more joy would be entering his life soon, as Rebbeca became pregnant within the first year of their marriage. Despiting after been to war and back, Frank found this the mosst harrowing thing in his life, wondering if he was ready to be a father. But on the day of his son's birth, he held him in his arms, his tiny fingers gripping around Frank's own. A tear fell from his eye, as he knew he would do anything to protect this little angel of his. Back at home soon after, bouncing his little blue-eyed, raven-haired son on his knee, Frank knew that retiring from the spy business had been the best decission in his life.

They were able to survive on his retirement fund, along with a consulting job for the American government which paid really well. Thanks to this, Frank was always able to be there for his wife and son, Ryan, as he grew up. Years pasted, with Ryan already starting to show some of the rugged good looks of his father. Yet no more children came into their lives, as it was discovered too late that Rebbeca had cervical cancer. Shortly after her soon Ryan turned 18, Rebbeca passed away in 1972, her final words being to frank to take care of their son and to always remember the time they had together. Frank barely held it together at the funeral, tears streaming down his face as he talked about his beloved wife. His own son sitting in the front row, crying his eyes out as well, taught expressing emotions wasn't a weakness.

Ryan it seemed was hit the hardest by his mother's death, as he moved away from hom to New York shortly after, becoming a businessman. He vowed to never join the military, believing it was exposure to strange chemicals which had caused his mother's cancer, as she worked as a nurse oversea before meeting his father. Frank was devistated, losing the love of his life and now his son moving away, he felt like his life was falling apart all around him. He didn't wish to continue and was planning on taking his life. It was the government who once again came into his life, this time saving him, as they offered him his old job back sa a superspy. With one major exception, this time he would be stealing other goverments' secrets, with little sabotage involved. Seeing nothing else left for him, Frank agreed right away.

Spywork Ain't What It Used To Be
Despite the fact that he was 57 years old, he was still in exceptional shape, thanks to the serum slowing down the physical effects of aging on him somewhat. With the physical abilties and shape of someone still in their early 30s, one who worked out intensively on regular basis for that matter, he was still the perfect superspy. Despite this and his powers not having diminished over the years, he found the spy game had changed more over the past decades than he thought possible. It was more of a cat and mouse game, one between agents of different governments and secret organizations, instead of against a madman bent on world conquest. Those kind of people were left to the superheroes of the era, the government not wishing to muss up their hands with such things, at least for the most part.

Working as a spy for the government lasted a long time, 20 more years of it, which took their toll on him. Both upon his body and on his remaining family, as he had lost touch with his only son. Because of work, he had missed both the marriage of his son Ryan adn the birth of his granddaughter, Jamie. Frank reflected back on the past 20 years and saw all he had missed out on. Once again he retired from the spy game, leaving it to those younger than him, this time it would stick. Settling into a retirement home in Freedom City, he found himself in better shape than the others there, being still as fit as someone in their early 50s. But the toll on his spirit had been too much. Working hard to reconnect with his son, who seemed to have inhrited at least a little of the serum's slowed aging effect, as he appeared to be a man in his mid-20s at the age of 38. It took a lot of hard work to get their relationship back on track, but finally Ryan realized he was blaming his father for something he had no control over and accept him back in his life.

Finally back in his son's life after all these years, he tried to get out to visit them as much as possible. He tried to connect with his granddaughter and douted on her every chance he got, which wasn't as often as he would have liked. His son and family lived in a little town just 100 miles from Freedom City and he wasn't able to trip that often at his age. But soon something happened which would tear them apart, this time for good. A private plane with Ryan and his wife in it were flying over an unknown Europian city, when an errant weapon fired by militant forces shot down their plane. No survivors were reported and Frank once again had to go to a funeral, far too soon. As he was too old to raise a child on his own, Frank didn't contest the adoption of Jamie by her "godfather" Steve Pern, on two conditions. One was she kept her last name, two was that he be allowed to visit when he could. Steve agreed to both.

Remembering the Glory Days
But Frank ended up staying at the retirement home, losing contact with Jamie, who was still in great shock over her parents' deaths and needed some time to recover. Frank understood her shock, leaving her be for the time being. But this seemed to stretch out into years, as Frank's memory wasn't quite what it used to be. Stuck telling war stories with the other vets of the wars, forced to change details to keep his secret, one which the government had tagged top secret still to this day. Years passed and Frank became bored out of his mind, wanting something to do and remembering his glory days. Thoughts of Jamie would slip into his mind from time to time, only to slip away too quickly for him to act on them. Til the day he was contacted by Duncan Summers of the Claremont Academy, having been directed to Frank by Jack Simmons.

Upon meeting with Duncan Summers at the Academy, he was offered a job teaching history there, if he wanted it. Frank decided it was time to get off his duff and do something with his life once again, instead of mopping about a lost past. He felt it was time to give back to the new generation and knew he was up to it, in great shape for a man his age. Only after he arrived for his first day of teaching was the truth behind the Academy revealed to him. In addition to teaching history, he was asked to teach some of the "special" students of the school in stealth and espionage techniques, it seemed Mr. Summers knew of his history. Once more his unique talents were needed, this time to help shape a new generation of heroes, like those he worked alongside in the Great War. Shocked at first by this new task, he agreed to it, knowing a challenge would do him some good right now.

But the shock of his life came upon seeing his granddaughter Jamie after all these years. Not only a student at the Academy but that she was one of the "special" students he would be helping teach. It seems the serum had a much longer lasting effect on Frank's life and that of his family than was originally intended, as Jamie had some sound-based powers as well. She was happy to see him after all this time, at least she had one member of her family left in this world, besides her adoptive father. Not that that would help her in class, Frank wasn't going to play favorites, not even for his own granddaughter.

Description:Although Frank is 92 years old, he is physically as healthy as someone in their early-60s and is still in exceptional shape due to regular workouts. He is old and wrinkled but fit for someone his age. His skin is slightly pale due to staying inside a lot these days. His hair has turned white but has barely thined at all, his blue-gray eyes still full of life. He has a few minor scars on his arms and chest, due to injuries during his missions in WWII and the Korean War.

He tends to wear a simple pair of jeans, a plain blue shirt and orthopedic shoes nowadays. His old uniform from his days working for the government as Silentstrike is still intact, a blue-black full bodysuit with a mask that covered all but his eyes and designed for stealth.

Notes
 Here is Bio-Flux-Rebooted. He is a nearly insane villain, not above killing in cold blood as long as he thinks he can get away with it. His resources give him many contacts and connections through the business world and criminal underworld. Always remember he will try to keep his criminal connections secret, only commiting crimes in the open while in his guise of Bio-Flux. His is the president of Alchemy Inc, but it has grown much over the past 10 years. Now he answers to a board of directors and doesn't even have full control over the company he once started. He has been forced to use private buildings outside of the company's control for his criminal enterprises, least he be revealed to the public by his own board of directors as the criminal Bio-Flux.

 His knowledge and skills allow him to function in the business and science worlds equally well. He can be a dangerous opponent given his resources, even without his mutant powers. As an inventor he can come up with chemical weapons the likes of which have never been seen. If he knows where he is heading or who his opponents are he can come up with a plan ahead of time [Master Plan]. Not all of his resources are listed here, as he can call upon Minions and additional Equipment as needed.

 Psionic/psychic heroes with have a hard time facing Bio-Flux, especially if they also use Fortitude saved based powers. His insanity makes it very difficult to read or affect his mind with mental powers. His acid spit can hurt even some of the most impervious of foes and has a secondary effect, so even if he hits once but misses with the next attack you will still be hurting.

 As a plot device power, the GM determines who are latent mutants/mutants with still latent powers. He doesn't have the Minions feat as his employees aren't considered minions for his point total, nor is his army of mutants as they can choose to leave him any time. But in a fight he can have any number of Minions as needed. Normally he keeps between 2-4 PL 6-7 mutants with him acting as bodyguards.

Description of Powers:Bio-Flux is a strange mutant whose own powers derive from biological mutations. He can concentrate his stomach acid into a thick yellow gunk, his acid spit. This acid burns quickly through any substance and causes severe burns on living targets, able to kill normal human quickly. His own body is adapted, making him completely immune to all forms of acid as well as to poisons and toxins. His physiology has toughened him up, making him difficult to harm.

His ability to sense mutants/latent mutants is his most dangerous power known. Due to his uncontrolled ability to activate their latent powers/potential he has amassed an army of mutants behind him. This doesn't force loyalty onto the newly empowered mutants, although most if not all feel they owe him a debt.

The scariest aspect of Stan/Bio-Flux is his near insanity, he is sane enough to know how to avoid the authorities and smart enough to devise complex plans. But anyone trying to use a mental power on him will find this near insanity makes him nearly immune to such powers. Even if able to successfully read his mind, they might regret it. His mind is a toxic cesspool just as dangerous to the minds of others, as his acid is deadly to the body.

History:
Spoiled Rich Kid
Born to rich parents, both CEOs of multi-million dollar businesses, Stan was always given what he wanted, but never what he truely needed. Always seeming to be at work, never having time for their only son, he grew up taken care of by nannies, private tutors and the mansion staff. Over time, he grew to resent his parents, despite wanting for nothing in this world, or so his parents thought. All he wanted was their attention and love, but they never had time. Bitter and angry, he would take it out on the nannies and staff, berating them and venting his own anger upon them time after time.

Soon the neglect began to wear on his young mind, for after years he still was taught by private tutors at home, never allowed to develop any social skills or play with other kids. His natural genius began to become distain for those he considered beneath him, seeing them as having no feelings which matter. It didn't help matters his parents were insufferable snobs, telling him to avoid those different than him the few times they talked to him at all. But most especially to avoid those "costumed freaks", his parents having a true distain for superheroes, going so far as to state they should be locked in a zoo. The reason for their distain was never known to Stan, otherwise his future self would find his line of work ironic in a way. His parents companies were involved in many illegal activities, many times the so-called superheroes had stopped a shipment or got the goods confiscated by the authorities. If they were in the world, it would be so simply to make a quick buck off their fellow humans.

But forbidding him to have anything to do with them only sparked Stan's curious nature. He began to study up on these superheroes and superpowered beings on his own, an act of defiance against his cold parents. The subject of genetics intergued him, soon finding private teachers couldn't teach him anything more. Having a high school degree by14, he was working on his college degree at Freedom University. But the truth of the real world hit him and hit him hard. He found it to be much different than his sheltered life at home had been. Some of the football team jocks took to pushing him around, taunting him about his age and calling him stuff like runt and sissy. The stress began to wear on him, as he felt stomach aches every day now, like a burning from within trying to get out.

Twisted Yellow Path
And soon the stomach aches got worse, over time increasing in intensity. By the time he turned 16, he was regularly missing classes due to the day. One day, after a very stressful call, his stomcah ache got every bad. Before he could run to the nearest bathroom, he found the bile had forced itself up his throat. Throwing up, he found it was a glob of strange yellow gunk, instead of what he expected from being sick in the past. When it hit the sidewalk pavement, it proceeded to hiss and melt through it, then down through the dirt as well. Shocked but curious, he touched the strange yellow stuff, finding it had no affect on him. Already having it bad, he didn't wish to be considered a freak as well. Rushing off in the hope that no one had noticed what he had done, he wasn't looking where he was going.

He ended up bumping into one of the football players who made him a regular target, the jock got ticked off and grabbed him by his wrist, saying he was going to make him pay. But this was a bad move, as pain suddenly shot through Stan's body, leaving the jock standing there as a strange energy surged through his body. Suddenly the jock began to grow before the eyes of everyone there, larger and larger til he stood 60' tall and looking completely confused at what was going on. The shock caused him to pass out, wear he shrank back to his normal size and was left exhausted by the experience. As a teacher showed up and order the jock taken to the infirmary, Stan ran for it when more students showed up, having seen what happened.

As he rushed home on foot, he couldn't believe what had happened, all in such a short time. Thinking of the repercussions of what had happened, he came upon an idea of what he had done. Somehow he had the ability to awaken the latent potential of mutants and latent mutants, which it seems the jock was all along. Finally reaching home, his parents were there, for once. He could only hope they would listen to him finally, instead of acting like he was nothing but a burdon. But as he came up to them and began to explain everything which happened at college that day, they were anything but understanding. They called their only son a freak, just like those "costumed nutjobs" they hated so much. They said they couldn't have him staining the good family name and he would need to be taken care of.

To them, Stan was gone now, killed and replaced by this monster standing before them. As his father went to grab a shotgun off the wall, his wife standing beside him, Stan couldn't believe what they were thinking. How could they call their own son a monster after all these years, how could they think of killing him? This was all it took to snap Stan's already fragile psyche, seeing the people whom all he wanted from was love and attention, loving them despite not getting any back, only now wishing to kill him. All of his bottled up emotions came to the surface, as in a rage brought on by years of neglect and now this final act of arrogance, he spat out a huge glob of the yellow gun at them. He turned away from them and started to leave the mansion, the only home he had known all these years, while hearing their screams of pain as the acid burned them alive and triggered a fire. Stan just calmly walked outside, as if nothing happened.

Building His Own Army
He had escaped the fire and the inspector was a fool, declaring faulty wiring as the cause of the fire which claimed his parents' lives. Stand had inherited their combined fortunes and businesses, but didn't care for them at all. He allowed the bord members of each company to buy him out, giving him an even great forture than before. His plans didn't require existing companies but the capital to start up his own. Setting up a bio-research lab called Alchemy Inc, he began his plans and expanded into the chemical research field. Soon the scientists he had fired were making breakthrough after breakthrough, from acids designed to affect only metals, non-toxic bonding agents that were strong enough to hold buildings together and more, they domination of the chemical research sector seemed assured. While Stan simply acted as the business front of the company, using sleezy, but legal tactics to get ahead. It was only the most wealthy of corporations and individuals who could afford his products. Soon his fortune had more than tripled from what he started with and Stan's plans were working out all as he anticipated.

All this was mearly a front for Stan, though. He began to test out his powers, finding he was able to detect both mutants and latent mutants alike. Soon he was building up a private army of mutants, all in his employ and most loyal to him for activating their powers. Most would have remained dormant for life, never encountering the right conditions to trigger the activatition of their mutant gene. Stan began to hire them out through multiple business fronts which he had set up, most often as mercenaries and corporate spies. Each got a cut from the jobs they did, but it was still more than enough to line Stan's pockets. Very soon he was wealthier than his parents could have dreamed, having an empire under his control and not seeing any way to stop him in sight. Even the strongest of armies of the would couldn't match the mercenary army of mutants at his command, despite not all of them being loyal to Stan. But loyalty didn't matter, as long as they were bringing in more money to increase his power.

Boredom soon got to him, as he saw the fun his mercenaries were having. Creating a secret identity to protect his assests, he called himself Bio-Flux and began to join in on some of the jobs. Even willing to work on contracts for his own company, if the assignment seemed like fun to him. Not above killing spies who attempted to infiltrate his labs or woud tried to reveal the truth behind his organization. Soon though, many members of his private army began to leave, going to work for other criminal organizations or as freelance villains, not wishing to have to give most of the loot to the boss. Once, he had over 1000 mutants working for him. Now he was down to only 200 of those most loyal to him. But Stan wasn't detered by this, knowing he could rebuild his private army to be stronger than ever before. It wasn't like the authorities had a clue about his operations or of the true identity of Bio-Flux.

Description:Stan is a greasy little man, appearing to be in his early 30s while only being 26 years old. His eyes are solid yellow with no iris, hiding them behind dark shades most of the time. He has greasy and stringy black hair kept slicked back. He is a man of wealth and loves to pamper himself sometimes, wearing fancy business suits when at his main corporate office and sometimes wearing gold rings.

He tends to wear casual clothes, prefering comfort to appearance. Only when doing business deals or at his main office does he wear black business suits and dress shoes. As Bio-Flux he wears a yellow and black mix fullbody costume with a face mask with yellow lenses over his eyes.
