:arrow: Tyrol is definately a skill monkey as opposed to a combat god. Still if I wanted a man backing me up I'd take Tyrol. At any rate his Will save is definately his weak point, and given the lack of anything that actually provokes Will saves in BSG's universe its not a huge loss. But, if it comes up Galen is probably going to fail.

Glad you liked them. Once I get the Basestar, or before depending on how that goes, I will be getting those Star Wars characters up. I'll be starting with Luke and the gang, as well the fast hunk of junk in the galaxy.

:arrow: The first of my Star Wars builds will be setting my benchmarks for Star Wars. For a mid to late EU Luke increase him up to PL 12 with appropriate increases to relevent abilities and powers. I'd also tack on a number of extra APs to his Telekenisis. This ultimately represents Luke at the end of Return of the Jedi.
:arrow: June 1, 2007: Luke gets an update with some UP goodness. He now hits his defensive caps with his lightsaber and deflect actions. I've intentionally removed his redirect blaster bolts back at guys, that strikes me as more of a power stunt since he really only does it once in RotJ. Luke also ends up being slight more expensive then a starting character is suggested, but with this build you could still have some fun by tweaking the points to work as a starting PC.
:arrow: EDIT: July 19, 2007 - Luke gets put back down to 150 power points. I really don't think he should cost more than that. In doing so Luke is completely screwed if he loses his lightsaber since he quite literally unable to defend himself without using Improved Defense. That said, with the lightsaber Luke can defend himself from damn near anything that would be fighthing him, and as a bonus because its all Deflect I'm pretty sure that he can deflect critical hits.

:arrow: Ah Han, you scruffy looking nerf-herder. Anyhoo, until I can actually come up with the Falcon assume that it works like the Space Cruiser. Han is going to rely largely on luck to get by, which means judicious use of hero points. He gets more to start with using Luck, and should be getting boats loads for having Chewie follow him around, especially when its more convenient not to have an eight foot tall Wookie follow you around.

:arrow: Good old Leia. She can shoot as well as Han, and has more skills. The only thing is that one good hit and she's out, even wearing a tactical vest like in [i]RotJ[i]. At any rate Leia gets to use Hero Points through out the original trilogy. She should be getting lots due to her complications as well, not the least of which is her responsibility to the rebellion. If blowing up a planet doesn't get you a hero point then nothing will. @-_-@

So the less Leia wears, the hardier she is in battle, right? :D I'm assuming you didn't give her Attractive because she's too much of an ice princess to use her looks?

As for attractive, get me a fur suit and call me a wookie! In all seriousness though, does she ever actually use her looks to get what she wants? I dont' recall that in any of the movies or thirty some odd novels.

:arrow: And now we have the third best movie villain of all time, according to the AFI. I like how Vader turned out, and I really like the armour. Without his armour he'll die within seven rounds, but inside of the armour he's a terror to behold.
:arrow: My design for Vader was one of brute force, he's very much the Emperor's broadsword. When you want a minion killed in a public manner you send in Vader, when you want a rebellion crushed beneath the iron boot heel or The New Order you send in Vader. When you want a quite assissination you don't send in Vader. At any rate his feats reflect this blunt instrument approach. He has almost finesse and will rely largely on his rage or his Power Attack to get the job done.
:arrow: Vader is a proficient combatent although relies largely on dealing large amounts of damage occasionally, instead of smaller amounts more frequently. Of course his perception range Telekinesis at +12 (so thats DC 27 toughness saves), which he will generally reserve for executing minions due to gross incompetence.
:arrow: Vader gets a big update with by cutting a few points from his build, and reworking his powers as an Array.
:arrow: Another update on Vader reduces his total costs even further. He's almost right in line for a balance PL13 character. Spiffy.

:arrow: The good folks in the Rules section helped me with this one. I'd like to thank Happydaze and Taliesin the most for basically giving me the build for the main guns. The flak cannons work more or less the same way but can get up to +10 damage from autofire, the only thing that would make them more deadly is an increased threat range. I'll think about adding that but it may make moving into close range and letting the flak cannons do their work a more viable option that hanging back and using the big guns like we see in the show. Still a possible +10 extra damage, +15 on a critical roll, would make any raider want to keep back as far as possible.
:arrow: he AP on the main guns is to represent redirecting the guns in a more focused area as opposed to trying to hit anything that comes into range.


Question, powers under vehicles , isn't the ep cost 1/5 the true cost in PP?! If so the Galactica is a bit cheaper.
