Things I liked about Witchfire:

The way the attributes, skills, and feats all reflected on the character. The bug reasons are the powers, and background. The powers she poses that you came up with are very interesting. Such as the feats connected to the powers and the wide array and such. Not to mention the Mason Book of Magic, always cool to have a magical spell book, that's also a family heirloom. She has a sidekick, I'm always in favor of sidekicks since almost no one ever makes characters that have one. As for her background, she sounds almost like one of my friends, adds a level of believe-ability to her. Plus the tragic background but still a good person, love it! Also her brother just sounds like such a great villain, really want to see him written up. Witchfire would just fit so well into one of my games, I just had to use her (Now which campaign to add her into?).

Thanks, the character is actualy several years old. She was born out of free-form roleplay on irc chat. I have made several incarnations with her, but when i wanted to do this particular write up. I wanted to emphasize her gift with witchfire, and NOT magic for a change. The magic, works well in the background. Specially as a wiccan. And thats one of the only reasons why her background is so good, cause i have had her for so long to get her devloped to this point. That and i couldn't help but add salem into it. I had pondered giving him some more powers, make him a greater challenge. And i do still ahve 5 pp to play with here on the concept, but i still wanted to play out the Familiar aspect and not get carried away with it. If you looked at her stats, i tweaked them just a little bit more to get her perfect in my mind. And i never converted her magical dagger. I didn't see a need, with the witchfire now fully developed. As for the magic book, i didnt know what to do with it. But i thought, giving it some skills would be the best way to handle it.

Jason will take me a little while, i had developed him as a side story. And i had not delved much into him personally. But with a little effort i can whip up some stats for him as well. He i will probably do the same way, background ritual magic. But give him a few trick powers, more leaning towards a more "demonic" nature. And of course a demon ally as well, maybe an Imp familiar. That would be interesting. Oh yes.. i can definetly see that happening.

2. Brian King. Brian is jasons' butler. Constitution is 13, add Diplomacy 4 and Sense Motive 4.
3. Simon Cornwell. Simon is jason's security expert. Con is 12, Int is 11. Drop Climb, and Streetwise, add Notice 6.
4. William Osborne. Freedom City Coucil Member. (Politician). Its always nice to have a politician in your pocket, and what william owes jason runs very deep. Use Politician Stats: Str 10, Benefit 2 (Wealth), Attack Bonus +1, Defense Bonus +1.
5. Daniel Brooks. Daniel is Jasons Pilot. He has all the stats of a Cultist, except where noted. Dex 14, Con 10, Wis 11. And Change Drive to Pilot.

Flaxik is never to far away from jason, just in case he needs him. He takes on the appearance of a handsome african american named Jack Simons.

Kharlei is a succubus of course, drop dead gorgeous and vicious. Acting as jasons personal assistant, she is with him at all times. Fulfuilling his depest fantasies and desires. Also she is his back up plan as well, if a situation calls for descrete interogration or information retrieval. He can send her in, with her skills in seduction, and the ability to appear as any woman she wishes. Makes her extremely useful, especially if he needs a favor to blackmail someone. He uses her to seduce his victim, has Flaxik take pictures or video for him. And instant leverage.

Kharlei's fiendish minions should be built on 40 pp. These could be humans, that have certain demonic attributes added to them. As seen fit by the game master.

Background and History:
Now jason is one scary S.O.B. He grew up as Jason Mason, something he hated with a passion. A cruel joke of his father, or so he would have thought. He was the oldest sibling of two, his sister was Jenna. It became clear that the two of them were special to a point, but where jenna always had a more intuitive and easier time with things. It took jason longer, and more work. He resented this, especially when his Aunt had shared with them the secret of their abilities. Both gifted with the use of magic. This only inspired jealousy, and a desire for power and dominance in him. He wanted that power his aunt always talked about, but she wisely was able to hold him back with her own skill easily. But jason always ended up taking it out on jenna, and when his father began to abuse jenna he could only laugh at her circumstances. Who would have known that jason had been behind, already he was messing with the dark arts. And he got a demon to possess his father to torment his sister. A fact jenna is not even aware of. But once his father got sent to prison, jason got shiped off to another family. The black family, just his luck to. Or was it? They were into the dark arts, and that got jason into the door and into the world of demons and black magic. He sold his soul to the devil, bargained for power, money and fame. Now it has taken a long time for him to control his hatred and jealousy over his sister, several times he had tried to kill her. And succeeded in killing his aunt, but jenna still got the book (the mason book of magic). He wants that more than anything in the world. He created a new identity for himself, changed his name, altered his appearance a little. And became Jason Black. He attended college to get a degree in law, got on the bar. And has worked his way up in the world as a District Attourney for the state of Massachusetts. He is now a man who works behind the scenes, using his contacts and knowledge of the system to open up loop holes that he can use to his advantage. He intimidates, barters deals with others in exchange for favors, and blackmail of course. Recently he has moved to freedom city to be closer to his sister, and is now working for the state of New England as a DA there. Jenna has no idea he is here, and everyone should be scared of what he might have up his sleeve. Now jason is never far away from his two sidekicks, Kharlei has assumed the identity of Andrea Phillips his personal secretary and assistant. While flaxik, loves to stalk while being invisible. Doing his physical dirty work when he needs it done.

Simply amazing. I love it, the guy is all of the villain I could have hoped for him to have been. He is so deliciously evil, it is just sickening. Seriously these have been the best character write-ups i've seen on these boards! I cannot wait to see what you'll come up with next, I've loved the characters so far. I have a feeling that there is more excellent material on the way.

Seriously these have been the best character write-ups i've seen on these boards! I cannot wait to see what you'll come up with next, I've loved the characters so far. I have a feeling that there is more excellent material on the way.

Woot, took me about 2 or 3 hours to write him up. And he turned out much better than i had hoped. Once again i kept away from out right giving him magic, but his Soul Forging power really adds an element of viciousness to the whole character. Plus this character unlike any of my others, has not only sidekicks but minions too!. As of this posting i think i have finally done all the fiddling i will do. Unless i can think of more minions to add to the character.
This character has just grown from being your atypical demonic magic user, into something very scarey. Though im still pondering if all his feats are up to what they should be. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Ive decidedly kept him at power level 10, regaurdless of his high power point cost. I just look at it as points well spent.

Well i couldn't let jason go, without making a pic for him. And yes , these two particular characters do strike a Charmed Feel. And i never really thought of it that way till you mentioned it :D. This could spawn off into its own setting perhaps, with a supernatural version of Freedom city.
