-She-Hulk went from an also-ran character to an Avengers during her initial couple years in the business, then got upgraded to a brief FF member (there's been a handful of those), and was a goofy comedy comic star at the same time. Then she did another Avengers run (this one in the lamer 90s era), followed by a long time in comics limbo, until the last decade has seen her star rise again. The "I know I'm in a comic book" series pretty much gave her a permanent place in comic readers' memories, though it probably couldn't be done to the same level today (now that that kind of humor is fairly common). The new, super-goofy series she's in is making her a pretty big under-rated starlet as well (plus she's getting more airtime in World War Hulk, Civil War, etc.), so who knows where she'll go next?

-She-Hulk is your standard Brick/Powerhouse, with some modifications. She's quite a bit better mentally than most Bricks tend to be, way more Skilled, and actually has some combat Feats and speed on her side as well. Not many sluggish Powerhouses can use Accurate Attack or Fascinate (Bluff). And even fewer have ONE rank in Attractive, much less TWO. She's a bit more expensive than your standard PL 10 (150) because of all that, but I didn't feel the need to make her PL 11. As some have noticed, it actually takes quite a bit to make me break the PL 10 barrier, and you'd better be at least an A or B-lister to make it that far. And She-Hulk, while tough, is just another brick, and would probably tie with the likes of Colossus or Sasquatch.

-Stingray has a pretty sweet costume, but it doesn't help him much as a super-hero. Strictly a low-grade, reserve Avenger, he only popped up briefly in the 80s, and did a handful of run-ins later on in the 90s and in modern times, usually establishing that he's NOT a career super-hero, but a scientist with a pretty cool suit. I loved the idea as a kid, though, mainly because of the costume. Surprising that he debuted in the late 60s, though.
-Very much a PL 8, and only in the water at that, and THEN only with his Blasts, Stingray is VERY limited, and deservedly so, as shown by his various outings as a super-hero. Both Kreuzritter and Taliesin have statted him at higher levels, with Impervious armour, but I've seen the guy get a massive concussion from a gunshot wound to the heat, which an Impervious guy wouldn't get, so his Toughness in the costume is just +8 right-out.

now, see, i didn't know htat, i just knew the guy's been jumped by iron man (addmttedly, i think starkbeat the bejeepers out of him), and actually picked a fight with namor durig the 80's (lucky for him, namor was in his full face turn rather than his typical wildcard status). with that sortof cred, i was under the impression the guy had some tou built up

Stingray protection is a tricky one, it appeared that it worked better against larger areas, so a point blank shot wouldn't pierce his armor, but would knock him out (it appened in a issue of Avengers #1 where they teamed up with the Winter Guard and Alpha Flight), but on the other hand the costume can easily handle the pressure of sea depts and survive Namor's punch being only stunned.

By the way, I'm also a fan of Stingray, he is one of the few normal guys in the superhero buisness.

Heh, I'd like to have pictures for everybody, but I'm too damn lazy. Especially since I do a couple builds a day sometimes, and I have like six hundred builds now. Kind of a backlog. Plus, half my builds are on people so obscure they have AT BEST a headshot.

-The Falcon's Avengers run is so short I had no idea he was ever a member, but hey, it's actually pretty progressive to have an "I won't be your token black guy!" arc way back in the 70s & 80s. Basically a big, long run as "Cap's Buddy", Marvel's been trying to semi-legitimize him ever since, but it's mostly in baby steps of him teaming with Cap & Cap allies while other, more popular black heroes take the forefront. Being the Aquaman of Birds probably doesn't help him.
-Falcon's a half-decent PL 9, making his full points allotment, but he comes up short on attack, being PL 8 there. I think that fits him about right, actually. He only gets full caps when in the air, like most flying guys, but isn't COMPLETELY hampered by being on foot, like a good handful of fliers are. His Bird abilities aren't that great, since I don't think he can really CONTROL birds, so much as talk to them and comprehend them.

While I'd have to admit that I agree with Leopold, I've gotta give it to Jab for his honesty!

Plus he's right about finding pictures, with alot of lesser known characters (ya know, not Batman/Superman/Wolverine/other X-Men/etc.) pics are seriously hard to find!

-Black Widow's been all over the place in the Marvel Universe, going from Iron Man villain, to recurring heroic aide, to an Avenger, to a side character in various other books (Daredevil, most often), to an Avenger again (leading the team during their worst era ever, the early 90s). Now, after her successor's comic book flopped (having little else other than well-CG painted covers of a hot blonde in leather), she's back to an Avengers team. Writers these days seem to have dropped the "Pro-American" side of her and gone back to the archetype of the dusky, hot super-spy, which is probably better for her character in the long run, even if it kind of turns her into a one-note stereotype.

-Widow's pretty surprisingly a PL 10. I didn't really think about it until I considered just how good a shot she most likely is, alongside the fact that she's got a pretty decently powerful energy blast coming out of his wrist gauntlets. On the other hand, she's still pretty easy to injure, and most of her points are taken up by her Skills and Feats, yet she lacks the full-on Combat God potential of a Captain America or a Daredevil, who are usually the kinds of guys she ends up teaming with and going against (their villains, anyways, are also Combat Gods).

-Jack Kirby was doing one of his "what is the nature of humanity?" things with Machine-Man, but it just never stuck. His later creations never quite had the impact of his Marvel Silver Age stuff, and the goofy purple X-51 was no exception. Poor guy had a silly look, lame powers, and was your standard Star Trek morality tale. In recent years, he's basically been a riff on Futurama's Bender, so we'll see where that goes. My only modern memories of him are in Marvel's HORRIBLE "Technical Guy" run of books under one label, all of which died horrible, horrible deaths. His link to the Avengers is tenuous at best, being a reserve member for a short time. Curiously enough, the guy was created for the 2001: A Space Oddysey books that Marvel was running.

-Like most robots and machines, Machine-Man costs one heck of a lot of points (dropping 20 pp total for his Immunity/No Con Score), and has a ton of fancy stuff loaded into him. Rather than try to stat up every techno-thing he's ever produced from his fingers, he gets 20 points of Equipment on him. His offensive and defensive potential isn't great, as he's no combatant, but he's strong enough to do some damage, especially with his extending limbs (adding 20 feet to his punches).

Question: Moondragon's powers are listed as having the concentration check required flaw, but she doesn't seem to have the concentration skill. Did I miss it on your build of her or is this an oversight?
