I was actually considering pitting Bane up against the Tomorrow Knight, m'self, though I'd love to see if my Bane could stand up to yours.

That said, the Venom I use is a totally different thing from yours, so yours would probably very resoundly crush my Bane.

Would be a very interesting fight, though.

Next Up On Kerevision: The Tomorrow Knight.

Terry puts his hand to the cowl of the Batsuit and grunted. "Mister Wayne. Are you there?"
"What is it?" Came the old codger's grumpy reply.
"Got a situation."

The situation in question, several stories down, was dressed in a blue wrestler's mask, holding a sack of money. Nearby, a group of boys dressed in the same masks were cheering him on as he threw his hands up in the air.

"Bring me the Batman!"
"THE BATMAN!"

"His name is Bane. He was my greatest foe."

Next Up On Kerevision: The Tomorrow Knight
Terry McGinnis fights his greatest challenge...the man who broke the Bat.
Stay tuned!

Predictions: The Tomorrow Knight has a lot on his plate with Bane and the Banes (the gang emulating him in the mask. If Joker has a gang, the man who broke the Bat has a gang). I'm rooting for Terry, but I'm thinking I gotta hand this round to Bane.

Terry will get a hero point for the small crowd of Banes around Bane.

For those wondering why Bane's calling Batman out in the open...well, I guess you'll see what his real plan is soon, won't you? ;)

I actually really like Batman Beyond in general, but then, it hits all my favorite points - dark and twisted future, high-tech superhumans...

But Bane has a lot more power under his belt, and even though he's slightly less nimble than Terry, Bane hits harder - just gonna take one good All-Out Power Attack and one bad roll and we're down another Bat.

Huzzah for Terry!

"Greatest Foe" my foot! That whippersnapper Bane is a piker compared to the Joker, Certainly he broke the Bat's back, but he has never even come close to inflicting the sheer degree of Hell the Clown Prince of Crime has inflicted on Bruce over the years.

The Sovereign (David Bowie)
PL 10/PP 150
Attributes: STR 10, DEX 10, CON 10, INT 30, WIS 30, CHA 40

Skills:
Acrobatics 4+0 = 4
Bluff 12+15 = 27
Diplomacy 12+15 = 27
Gather Information 12+15 = 27
Intimidate 8+15 = 23

Notice 8+10 = 18
Pilot 12+0 = 12
Search 8+10 = 18
Sense Motive 12+10 = 22
Sleight of Hand 12+0 = 12
Stealth 8+0 = 8

Feats:
Accurate Attack, All-Out Attack, Assessment, Attractive, Benefit (Diplomacy Immunity), Connected, Contacts, Eidetic Memory, Fearless, Inspire 5, Leadership, Luck 5, Master Plan, Minions 7, Move-By Action, Seize Initiative

Powers:
Shapeshift 2
Morph 3 (Metamorph)

Init/Defense: +0/10
Saves: FORT +0, REF +0, WILL +10, TOUGH +0
Attack/Damage: +0/+0

Notes:
Not -really- suitable as a PC, David Bowie goes up as The Sovereign because I was feeling semi-inspired before the Bane/Terry fight. He might get an uber-tweaking, but right now, essentially, David assumes whatever form is necessary at that period of time, be it an ungodly amount of Stealth (he can become Tiny), a Brick (Protection 10), a Blaster (a Fading Blast 10), a Scrapper (Ablative Protection 10/Fading Strike 10), or whatever he needs to be. He can also reshuffle his points entirely (his Metamorph) if his Shapeshifting alone can't cover his needs.

In his 'natural' form David is an UNGODLY mastermind. He can inspire his mass of minions with his huge boosts, use Leadership and Master Plan after he Seizes Initiative, and just generally be an awesome guide.

If David seems shortchanged, don't think that -at all-. He's a consummate Shiftermind, able to adapt to any situation and command his troops with all the might of the Guild of Calamitous Intent at his disposal. Besides that?

He's David ****in' Bowie. Wanna take him on? I didn't think so.

How is Bane there in the future? Last we saw of him on Batman Beyond he was in a retirement home and not able to do much of anything. Some other guy was making the Venom patches and selling them to gangs. Oh well, should still be a great match to watch.

This is why Venture Brothers is the best cartoon ever. Well, other than The Monarch.

Bane's presence in the future will be revealed soon. I promise, it does make sense.

And yeah. Venture Brothers rocks. I'm planning to do some of my other favorites (DOCTOR BYRON ORPHEUS, Jefferson Twilight), as well, so Venture Brothers gets its own category in my index instead of being lumped into Miscellaneous Builds.

David Bowie: *metamorphs into The Hulk* YOU NO LAUGH AT DAVID BOWIE. *crush*

Ahhh, the benefits to having PL 10/PP 150 characters for the whole thread - David can morph into pretty much anyone in this thread and gain their abilities. David is -scary-.

Brock Sampson
PL 10/PP 150
Attributes: STR 30, DEX 20, CON 30, INT 18, WIS 14, CHA 18

Skills:
Acrobatics 12+5 = 17
Climb 8+10 = 18
Disable Device 8+4 = 12
Drive 8+5 = 13

Intimidate 12+10 = 22
Knowledge [Tactics 8, Weaponry 8]+4
Notice 8+2 = 10
Pilot 4+5 = 9
Profession (Soldier) 12+2 = 14
Search 8+4 = 12
Sense Motive 12+2 = 14
Stealth 12+5 = 17
Survival 12+2 = 14

Feats:
Acrobatic Bluff, All-Out Attack, Ambidexterity, Assessment, Benefits 2 (STR for Intimidate, License To Kill), Blind-Fight, Chokehold, Connected, Contacts, Defensive Roll 5, Diehard, Elusive Target, Equipment 1, Evasion 2, Fearless, Improved Critical (Bowie Knife) 5, Improved Grab, Improved Grapple, Instant Up, Move-By Action, Power Attack, Redirect, Takedown Attack 2, Ultimate Effort (Ultimate Toughness)

Equipment:
The Bowie Knife (Treated As Sword)

Init/Defense: +5/10
Saves: FORT +10, REF +5, WILL +2, TOUGH +15
Attack/Damage: +5/+10 (+13)

Complications:
Rivalry (Moltov Coqtiz)
Enemies (Monarch Henchmen, Phantom Limb, Most of The Guild)
Responsibility (Rusty, The Venture Kids)

Notes:
A man renowned for his ability to kill people with any object on hand, Brock Sampson is the man. You don't screw with Brock Sampson - even without his Bowie Knife he's a goonslaying machine.

In addition, Brock is allowed to take 20 on his toughness checks, and frequently does - he's -that- tough. Because pretty much everyone generates a Hero Point for him in some way, shape, or form, Brock always has a point to spare.

This especially comes out when fighting Monarch Henchies - he gets a hero point for each of them he fights, because they're his 'primary' 'antagonists' (Read: Minor Annoyances for him) throughout the series. The Guild of Calamitous Intent is another Hero Point Machine, and so is Moltov Coqtiz. Any game involving all of the above, plus a kidnapping of Rusty or the Venture Family is...well, it's Brock Sampson ruining people. That's about it.

Of particular note is his Bowie Knife. It's treated as a Sword because of damage, though it is a knife. He's got Improved Critical (5) on it, and by God can he abuse it - he just kinda walks through fights and, when people are flat-footed, can lazily take his time and kill them with anything.

He's even killed a man with his buttcheek. That's how strong Brock Sampson is.

He's -awesome-.
