Haven't been able to read the book (then again, I am a very poor guy. Just can't afford it currently). I would be interested in seeing the stats for your characs, though.

One req: make them dual-statted (2nd and 3rd ed).
Bad guy looks at small pistol by PC. Bad guy makes pistol with fingers.
Bad guy-¿"Bang"?.
PC shakes head gravely.
PC (quiet voice)-"Boom".
PC pulls trigger.
Bad guy gets vaporized.

Oof, dual-statted? That might take some work! :P

I just bought it from Amazon. And yes, I want to see the characters, even if there's some spoilers. 8)

How many people have read my novel, Locked Within, and would like to see MnM stats for the characters?
I'm sorry to say that I have not read you novel. But I would love to see you stat them out straight from the source.

Locked Within just came in from Amazon yesterday so I told my wife she could give that me from her, even though I ordered it. :)

Looking forward to it! Happy holidays, Word!

Oh my, I almost forgot about this thread entirely. As it stands, I now have two new short term goals: read Fall of the Bat in its entirety (I had only read part of it when it first was being written, I blame finishing college at the time) and wait for payday to order a copy of Locked Within from Amazon (unless there is an eBook version offered somewhere other than for the Kindle).

It should also be available as an ebook on Barnes and Noble.

Finally finished Locked Within, Word. Kudos. I really enjoyed it. I was hoping a couple of the bad guys might meet a tad more horrific ends, but they met ends, so I that's the main thing. I could have sworn the Nathan's last stand really looked like some textbook examples of Effort Effort and Hero Point usage. 8)

I know you offered to stat Nathan up, but I'd like to give it shot, since I see every character in everything I read or watch in MnM stats.

He's posted. :)

Nathan Shepherd (Locked Within)

How about that? Not only did you get published, your main character got a statting at J-Mart. Which has got to be FAR more rewarding.

October was a crazy month, but it's done and Silent Oath is available in both paperback and Kindle formats.

It's been getting some great reviews on a number of blogs. My website has links to some of these reviews and spotlights, and links to articles providing more information about the book and the series as a whole.

Earlier this month I signed the contract for the third instalment of the Locked Within Trilogy.

Final Hope will be released late next year.

Excellent. Looks like another early Christmas present to myself. 8)

I've been hyping to my friends, so I hope that helps!

Thanks! I'm sure it will. It's a slow process, this writing gig. Hopefully in a couple of years I can quit the day job and do this full-time :D
