Welcome to the abyss, a swirling series of worlds and characters wrapped up in a heaping helping of originality. I don't do a lot of conversions on this thread, but I do make settings, almost exclusively developed with their populations. Look around, comment, and enjoy.

Description: Hellhound is a monster in size, 6 foot 10 inches and built like a tank. His face is covered by a copper and gold gas mask that close observers will note, is actually part of his head. The mask is baroque and connected to a gas tank at Hellhound’s chest; he uses this to breathe the sulfur he requires to live. Hellhound wears a large overcoat that conceals his armored vest and weapons.

-Built by it’s owner, the Hell-Gauge Shotgun can pass for an ordinary shotgun until it’s fired and a blast if fire and shrapnel sprays out. Hellhound tends to only use it as a last resort.

History and Background
Hellhound grew up far south of Chicago along a dusty road ruled by biker gangs. He rose through the ranks even before Doctor Paradox added his mask. Hellhound’s enormous strength and toughness are both results of the biotic formula the doctor used to help his body accept the mask. After joining the Tolchock’s under Ferrous Corn, Hellhound became a point man in their organization. He often leads raids with other Tolchock bikers, which has led to him gaining the attention of the Bruise Security forces in Chicago. Recently Hellhound has been more preoccupied with his own agenda having nearly been killed in a battle with Trevor Mourning and Adam Lyov. After his recovery, masterminded by Doctor Paradox, the biker has developed a nearly psychotic hatred for Trevor, who stole his old motorcycle after the battle. To get his revenge he has called on an old comrade, Lou Drake, or Razorback.

As an unhindered monster, Gerard is filled with Hatred for all aliens and humans. He also has a random dementia that takes hold of him at times.

History and Background
Gerard was once the project head for Task Force Hermes and a friend of David Shiloh’s before being transformed into Basilisk. He now broods over the loss of his humanity and in many cases will suddenly become manic, embrace the dark side of his nature and go on a killing spree or simply destroy something for the fun of it. Once a dignified and solemn man, Basilisk can often be seen laughing madly or flying through the air peppering random -living or not- with bullets.

TROL has always had a rivalry with the all American Black Ops teams and Meili has found someone who takes everything to seriously; Zechariah Snyder is her work rival but when mistakes can get people killed, it pays to leave personality at the door.

History and Background
Ferrous Corn was once a peaceful man who wanted nothing in life except to be left alone. When Bruise search parties killed his grandfather and shaman mentor he swore to pay them back. Using his ability to summon drakes and his Tolchock connections, the young shaman invaded the Bruise citadel and claimed the arsenal wires, which Doctor Paradox installed in him later, and he became Arsenal. Ferrous Corn went on a killing spree shortly after the surgery and was captured by police using the Bruise Warrior Leveler as heavy support. They were unable to hold him for long because of a certain case manager’s attempts to keep him out of the citadel and in normal maximum security. Ferrous knows Holly Turner helped him there but he isn’t sure why. Once he escaped prison, Arsenal calmed his killing and took command of the Tolchocks for the man named Robe. Today Arsenal is Robe’s point man but, unbeknownst to Ferrous, Robe is not a man at all, nor the god he claims to be. Indeed, Robe is also known as Ferrasite, a mighty alien warship capable of disguising itself as virtually anything.

-The Psyche eye is the control device that was built by Gerard Regulus before he became Serpent Rex. He hated it and spurned its use in favor of the human touch. Zechariah Snyder had no such preference and seeks to use the device at every opportunity.

Complications
Major Snyder is a member of Black Ops but also quite famous for his Special Forces operations in Europe prior to the fall of the Soviet Union.

History and Background
As a hardnosed military commander, Major Snyder has only recently started running the Hermes base. He detests the alien and corrupted agents under his command and seeks, not to normalize them, but rather to get rid of them in action. He is strict and no-nonsense often resorting to his authority in even small altercations.

Playing with Snyder
I came up with the idea for Snyder (And indeed, his name), after seeing one of the episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in which Principle Snyder had taken over. That is the sort of guy Zechariah is. The Hermes base is full of creeps, freaks and monsters but he sticks up for the old human way. My PCs work for the Hermes team and Snyder may well be thorn in their side unless they play their cards right and end up on his (difficult to reach) good side.

Holly has been a case manager for the black ops departments for 3 years, she knows how to handle a firearm but would rather not. Her brother is the Nightmare, a mighty super villain infected with the Dromat curse that has very nearly taken total control of his mind. Nightmare is Holly’s dark secret, she never revealed him to the government.

Using Holly
The options are pretty obvious to me as the PC Trevor is in dire need of a case manager to turn him around, so we're looking at some definite conflict wth Nightmare over his sister, and Trevor is a perfect matchup for him. Holly herself has been in a few scrapes so she's got herself a stun gun just in case (not to effective with it though).

History and Background
Trevor grew up with abusive parents and spent too much time playing in the dark by himself. One day, when he was young he met the Dromat Fel Droth trapped in the dark with him. The alien made a deal with the boy: The boy would have freedom from the darkness, from his family, just as long as he carried the dromat within him. Trevor made the deal and was able to escape though he never knew quite how. After turning in his parents for abuse Trevor lived as an orphan for the rest of his school days. He didn’t know that the dromat had given him power over the darkness he once hated. He tried to turn himself in to an asylum when he realized that he could see through any darkness and feel the proximity of shadows. Trevor was nearly arrested soon after being turned away from the asylum, for his vagrancy. Deciding to head to live with some relatives in Chicago until the heat was off, Trevor took a bus into the city. Hellhound attacked that bus looking for the man who held the Blight Heart, a device that could lead the Blight Rex and his forces to earth. Trevor and Adam Lyov, another passenger on the bus, defeated Hellhound but they were the only surviving passengers when the Adam’s remote controlled space fighter destroyed the bus. They inherited the Blight Heart from the dead courier and, eventually turned it in to Gerard Regulus, then the commander of the Hermes base. Trevor came to serve with the Hermes Task Force in Chicago, under the surpervision of Adam Lyov and David Shiloh. Recently, Trevor tested positive for blight corruption after being told of the dromat by Specter Red.

History and Background
Ferrasite has remained dormant in its sky fortress around earth after it shot down the last of the Gray Alien ships going to get help from the humans. It shot down the Grays for more than one reason. The first being obvious, the Grays were its enemies; the second was the more bizarre of the two. Ferrasite shot down the Gray ship because it believed that no Gray would ever be able to face it in single combat, even with a ship. It wanted to see if a human could. And so the Hermes Task force was born. In some ways this makes the test pilot; Adam Lyov a target, but in other ways it makes him the safest human on earth as Ferrasite doesn’t want anyone to kill before he does.

Are these characters originals or are they from something? There are alot of things are see in your builds , and i want to know more about .

Like what are the aliens?
How do people get powers?
What kind of strange new materials and compounds are in this universe, etc..

Setting Information

Well, all these characters are originals. The aliens are from numerous races all fighting over earth for reasons unknown. Aliens come from all over space and from other dimensions such as heaven and hell. The Players in this campaign all get their powers from aliens in one way or another, there are three of them and they are all at least slightly different.

-Nomrah - Is a street fighting martial artist who was born with an alien portal in his mind (He doesn't know about this), this portal allows the aliens to see his mind but also gives him the ability to read minds. He was captured by an Alien godling names Michael Rose a few years ago, and, after being tortured by him for some time, learned enought about him to be able to mimic many of his powers.

-Trevor Mourning - Gets his powers from a dromat parasite. Dromats are a type of alien that works with the devil (AKA Blight Rex) to take over planets, they have control over different elements, Trevor's Dromat controlled darkness. Trevor has mastered the Dromat and he controls it rather than the other way around. Dromats secrete resin that can be shaped instinctively by their hosts. For example, all of Nightmare's weapons are made out of Dromat Resin that his Dromat secreted.

-Adam Lyov - Is an ordinary super genius ex-airforce pilot. He helped design the Hermes Class starfighter along with David Shiloh. He flies the fighter, salvaged from Gray Alien technology at Roswell and essentially that's his power.

Aliens as a whole can fly around earth without anyone noticing because they are all stealthy in one way or another.

As for Special Materials (So far):
-Green Matter; A mysterious substance that powers Ferrasite, not sure about exact properties yet.

-Blight Matter; The toxic matter which makes up blight aliens (Like dromats)

-Negative Matter; Is solid darkness, similar to blight matter but not toxic.

-Dromat Resin; A kind of permanent negative matter that is extremely durable when cool and extremely shapeable when hot and fresh out of the dromat.

Spawned from the realm of the Nocturnals over forty years ago, Michael Rose as the keepers of his orphanage named him grew into a being of near godlike power from his connection to the alternative world.

Michael Rose is a sadistic godling of a street fighter. He loves to bleed his opponents gradually over the course of the fight and even at the end would rather torture someone than kill them. He tortured Nomrah after defeating him years ago after which Nomrah barely escaped. Michael is member of the Tolchocks and runs an underground fighting ring in which he trains disciples to fight alongside him when he moves to take over the earth for his divine heritage.

Michael has also fathered numerous super powered children and has no fewer than a dozen mates across the country. A list of his known children is below:

Bethany Rose - Michael's only daughter and favorite child
Tobias Rose - The Stone Wound, a son obsessed with building the pantheon.
