Thanks much Libra and MorningKnight. I was traveling all day to day so I guess I'm just now getting a chance to post.

One more villain coming right up, then a bonus later.

EDIT: It is late. I'll do two or three later to make up for this, though make no mistake, I don't feel guilty about it.

Complications (Hero) or Plot(s) (Villain)
Plot 1: ‘Till Death
A woman has hired Onimaru Mugen and his capture artist to kill her husband but with a condition: local security forces must be notified of the plan. Naturally, Onimaru Mugen agrees. He and his capture artist set out to create a scene at the spaceport her husband is arriving in from a nearby colony business-trip. The player characters are in the way.

Plot 2: The Killer
An aging hitman is trying to quit the business and seeks asylum. He informs the security forces he turns himself into that a violence artist is after him. Security troops set up protection for the former hitman but Onimaru Mugen was never one to steer clear of a challenge though.

Affiliations
None

Personality Notes
Mister Mugen is an artist first. He practices the art of the kill in close quarters and is very much accustomed to working as a professional. He insists that most of his kills be in public places and prefers multiple victims in one place. Now that he is a teacher for the capture artist Kensude Ryogai Onimaru has become harsh master. He demands his student love violence as much as he does and insists on training the eye-cameras constantly, as he did himself when he learned the trade. Onimaru has many sayings and axioms he enjoys observing and his views on art and war are constantly drilled into the minds of everyone who works with him.

General Notes
Onimaru Mugen is so good at close-range combat that virtually anyone he finds himself fighting will be vastly overmatched, at least in accuracy. Mister Mugen is, however, not very tough. He is a traditionalist and refuses to use a forcefield generator. His sword is usually a katana, though; depending on the victim and the desired effect he is known to use other long and short-blades. What is essential to his fighting style is the placement of the capture artist to record the scene. He records his part and the capture artist records a different perspective to be spliced in later. The final videos are distributed on the internet where possible.

Background
Onimaru Mugen often speaks of his past, his loving father and adoring mother. He grew up in several houses inside the dream world of Cyber Kyoto, but moved out to the physical world and took a job on a farm when he graduated high school. After doing that for a year, he moved back into the city and went to college, mostly for art. Throughout his whole youth he carried an interest for the martial arts, and trained at several different schools over the years. Eventually Onimaru moved on to using weapons and finally, to preferring them. When he found himself neglecting his other studies in favor of practicing his fighting skills Onimaru realized what he needed to do. Specializing in the sword, he took up training others but the money wasn’t good enough. Twenty-five years ago now, he set up his own business as a violence artist, following in the steps of the infamous nihilist known only as Bird. He has been taking jobs for the past 24 years, and training capture artists for almost as long.

Description
At 46 years old, Onimaru Mugen has accumulated his share of scars and marks. A lifetime of physical combat has kept him in excellent shape. He stands five-feet eight inches tall and weighs 140lbs. His eyes are gray.

This is a great take on a character dweller! A artist of violence is a cool concept, and he seems amost like an old samurai film character.

Heh, I love that last line about the player characters being in the way.

Heh, heh, heh, MisterO, that's exactly the kind of guy Mister Mugen is.

Glad you like him, Sev.

My trip gets over tomorrow so I'll make up for the characters I'm behind on. I have a bunch written up on paper so it won't be hard to get them online in one day, so expect to see Mister Mugen's capture artist tomorrow, probably with some others.

Great! I'm loving this setting. It makes me want to derail one of the stories I'm currently working on so I can have Rem's Dream take its place.

Seriously, I think that might even be a good thing.

-AP: Switchblade (Strike +1, Mighty, Improved Critical, Subtle 2 (Concealed), Thrown) (1ep)
Computer (1ep)
Motorcycle (9ep)
Heavy Pistol (Blast +4) (8ep)

Powers & Devices (9pp)

Cybernetic Eyes (7pp)
Supersenses 4 (Darkvision 2, Infravision, Video Capture)
Datalink 6 (Human Computers Only)

-These eyes are the main tool Kensude uses for his job at the moment. Fighting is usually a secondary role if he is to do it at all while Onimaru is working.

Mass-Light Conversion Field (2pp)
Forcefield +6 (Flaw: Side Effect DC DC =10(+damage bonus) dazzle when damage is saved (-1pp/Rank), DRAWBACK: Power Loss (EMP and Heart Stopping) (-1pp))

-Kensude uses a mass-light field against the wishes of Onimaru, having gained the implant for a year before he met the Violence Artist.

Complications (Hero) or Plot(s) (Villain)
Any Plot suitable for Onimaru Mugen as a violence artist really should include Mister Ryogai as well. He is a capture artist, and Mister Mugen’s apprentice.

Plot 2: Answers
Onimaru Mugen has sent Kensude out solo, with the orders to kill three targets in three separate, but all crowded locations. Along the route there are various other, younger and more inexperienced capture artists recording the inevitable chaos, chase, and kills.

Affiliations
None

Personality Notes
Kensude is soft-spoke and well-meaning. He is polite and personable, having taken the position as Mister Mugen’s apprentice originally just to make ends meet. Now he is beginning to savor violence more and more. He is nowhere near the traditionalist that his master his, and commonly fights with a sword in one hand and a gun in the other.

General Notes
With his forcefield’s benefits and use of a gun to help him keep up with Onimaru, Kensude is a decent enough fighter. He is seriously outclassed against super-cybernetics and tougher enemies but his role is not really to fight. In most encounters he will remain in hiding, capturing the scene as Onimaru kills the target in some creative fashion. When fighting on his own he has to be stealthy and smart to survive, and likely wouldn’t try to take on a security squad at all.

Background
Kensude is a native of Cyber Kyoto. A hard-worker but not terribly gifted, he had a knack painting, which he still works at from time to time. His father died during his first year in college, a victim of the Denorai invading his city in the dream world. Kensude has been working to make himself less and less vulnerable to the threat of the alien creatures. The first step was to go through surgery for the forcefield generator, and the second was to learn how to fight. He fell in with the violence trade slowly but inexorably as he trained in the martial arts.

Description
Kensude likes to be well-dressed. He is now twenty-four years old and stands 5 feet 10 inches tall. He weighs 150lbs.

Powers & Devices (175pp)

Arclite Power Suite (110pp)
Growth 4 (Continuous, Permanent, Innate)

-The Soldier Arclite Mark IV is a four-legged, doglike machine with a sling around the shell containing both the eggshell of the frame and the piloting cage within that. The cage and shell are transparent from the inside, allowing for full range of vision for the pilot. Mark IV Soldiers are equipped with powerful jump-jets in order to clear large areas with huge bounds.

Mass-Light Forcefield (3pp)
Forcefield +6 (Flaw: Side Effect DC =10(+damage bonus) dazzle when damage is saved (-1pp/Rank))

-Mass-Light fields on Arclites are not as vulnerable to EMP as those housed in human bodies.

Telekinesis +6 (Split Power 1)
Power Reserve 6 (Add +12 points to Telekinesis or Illusion) - Power Supply

-The primary means of attack for any Arclite without significant weapon add-ons is the Projector. Every projector allows the use of solid light to create additions to the arclite, or to warp and space into illusionary objects and destroy anything as desired within a short (as in millimeters) distance of the shell.

DRAWBACKS
No Hands (4pp)

Construction Notes
Frame Length and Type: 13 feet Cavalry/Cage Type: Single Seat/Brain Case: Personality Case/Power Supply: Light Cradle/Projector Type: Phenom Solid Light/Interface System: Neural Combo/Shell Composition: 40% Ferrous Armor/Projector Ports: 2/Attachments Pods: None

Background
The Mark IV Soldier is the current staple of the combat divisions used on the front lines against the Denorai. However, manufacturing top-of-the-line arclites is a costly endeavor. They require large amounts of Eryum for their Projector systems and Power Cradles. For this reason, only the elite and well-connected soldiers ever gain access to these machines. Of course, despite the status of the Mark IV, it is safe to say that there are far more powerful arclites on the battlefield.

The Sundown Squad is the user of this individual machine. The squad consists of six Soldier Mark IVs piloted by four veterans and two new recruits replacing losses.

Talk about being on a Roll, really good stuff you got going on their Dweller. But i still noticed a mistake with those Mass Light Shields. If you want a dc 11 side effect. Just subtract 1 pt from the cost of the power. Since that is only 1 rank of the side-effect flaw.

Side effect: A power worth 2 pp's per rank in this side effect, effects the hero. And since you only want a dc 11 effect, this is obviously 1 rank in a side effect. I hope that helps you understand it a little better.

Oh, now I get it. I actually wanted the DC of the reflex save to be equal to the damage save it saves against (well -5, because it is a reflex save). If I change it to that would it be a -1 Flaw, do you think?

-AP: Possession +9 (Flaw: Body Remains behind)
-AP: Astral Projection +3 (Attack, Flaws: Additional Save (Reflex), Others Only, Fades)
-Fiona has some of the strangest powers of any Dream Soul Magician. She can project her mind out a short distance and force others to do the same for a short time with a touch. Her ability to comprehend the spirits of the dream world is especially rare, but it is this that allowed her to discover the secrets of the vector hound bow, interrogating numerous spirits for a means of self-defense.

Device 5 (Easy to Lose, Restricted Use 1: Dream Soul Magicians) – Vector Hound Bow (16pp)
Blast +9 (Split Attack 2) – Arrows of Light
Teleport +4 (Short Range, Easy) – Shunt

-The Vector Hound is a cutting-edge weapon and tool for use in relatively close quarters. It shoots arrows of white light and when it shunts its user it releases a bright, through not blinding, flash. The bow itself is steel-colored, with a fiery red line pattern up and down its length.

Rivalry – Rem Loken
Fame – Daughter of Paul Silverburn

Affiliations
Gomez Tactical Training Program (Student)
Elshley Academy for Gifted Dreamers (Student)
Cyber Jerusalem Volunteer Defense Force (Lieutenant)

Personality Notes
Raised mostly by her mother, in the absence of her corporate overlord father, Fiona is always competing with someone. She has trained for a long time with her unique dream soul powers but has yet to truly uncover her potential. Fiona is often frustrated by her friend, Rem Loken, whom she knows is the top student in her Elshley class as well as being of an equal rank in the volunteer defense force. The two of them are still close friends and the rivalry is mostly in Fiona’s head. She keeps a lot of what she does to herself and is fairly secretive of her powers, though that hardly means she misses a chance to demonstrate them.

General Notes
Armed with her Vector Hound Fiona is a nasty fighter, but without it she has little means of striking. She is aware of this, and so keeps her distance from enemies unless she plans on possessing them, which is a rare tactic.

Background
Born in Cyber Jerusalem to the neglected wife of Paul Silverburn, Fiona has been pushed her whole life. She has a big place to fill as the daughter of the Miracle Worker of Business. However, her talents are those of a dreamer, not a corporate super leader. She knows the ins and outs of her powers as they are and wishes to learn more. She enrolled in the Elshley Academy at the same time as Rem and the two have been friends for the past four years.

Description
Fiona is a bright young woman of 17. She dresses in a the current fashion of the day and keeps herself informed about all the things going on around her by visiting the dream world and the internet regularly.
