I love the Monkey King build. You've got all the various traits well-covered. I'm assuming this build is post-Journey, else he would have the headband that allowed the monk to discipline him.

Definitely post-journey. He is really expensive but I think it's fine. He serves as a base for my Sci-fi Chinese/Norse Myth crossover.

For his part, Ronald is a classic crime fighter who likes nothing better than being a protector.

History and Background
An Ancient Demon of the Blight, Asmodeus is the last person one would expect of feeling remorse for the victims of his killings. He hardly believes it himself, but as he grew closer to Ariel the Red when spying on the Black Ocean Angels, he grew to feel regret for the killings and terror he has inflicted on countless others throughout his life of service to Blight Rex. That’s not all that changed about Asmodeus when he infiltrated the Angels though. Ariel the Red told him the secret of the land of the Nocturnals and now he seeks to protect that knowledge though he knows that one day it will have to come out.

History and Background
Rook Raven seeks to serve the greater good and is fanatically loyal to the ethos of the Marduk Association. Even terrorism is not too far to go to ensure the survival of humanity. He fights without questioning his orders and, until recently was all but unknown for anything other than the ability to do what others refuse out of fear. Now, however, since the loss of his right hand, he has become obsessed with taking his revenge on Trevor Mourning. Insult and injury do not mix well for the Raven.

Character Commentaries Volume 1

Hellhound – As the first character I made for M&M I dreamed him up a few times before I got the book and he turned out to be pretty powerful in his final incarnation. The Hell-gauge shotgun was added last, too give a bit more oomph at range and make him a hero fighter. So far, the first two major encounters I’ve run were with Hellhound and he’ll certainly be back later for more trouble

Basilisk – The transformed commander was a weird idea to me, especially because he doesn’t actually use the shield-o-pod to direct his flight (though that would seem natural for him). He was supposed to be a major villain and I can see him amassing a team of supers once he gets his sanity back. In the meantime he’s just a ludicrously powerful gunslinger (which is one reason I chose the shot of Revolver Ocelot for him) who can fly as fast as a fighter and duel with Adam Lyov’s starfighter pretty well.

Nightmare (Brett Turner) – I haven’t played with Nightmare yet, but plan to pretty soon. His whole concept was actually based on his Dromat weapons and the movie Final Fantasy Advent Children (Multipart Weapon + Motorcycle = Happy, happy, joy, joy). Nightmare’s other abilities serve to make him similar to the main characters from that movie mixed with a little bit of Rage because, coming out of D&D, I love rage. Finally, adding the Nullify ability was pretty much a meta-game opportunity for him to escape from his possible enemy, Trevor Mourning.

Ms White – Like many of the mostly human characters I designed, Ms. White is not a super villain in her own right, even though she could be with her power level. I gave her some complications to put her more on the PCs side but often she’ll appear as a manifestation of TROL rivalry (PCs are Black Ops).

History and Background
Marissa Glover’s mother was Raven (Also Known as Queen Raven before her death). The girl was sired by the Father of the Marduk association himself, or so the stories go. She is of incredible fighting skill and grace, matched only, it is said, by her great beauty. Her life has been spent training for battle with the Blight Rex and his minions. She yearns for nothing more than to finally prove her skills against the true enemy.
