I don't think the Tarrasque is a mute, seeing as it has a tongue and all. But okay.

I suspects it's due to technically being smart enough to know a language but not doing. But no matter, he (it?)'s terrifying anyway.
The Librarium - Careful around the shelves, I still need to get stronger chains for the books. And don't go wandering off on your own either, I still haven't found the last one to do that.

No, the thing is not actually mute, but it does not speak any language.

The Mute Disability is given to all animals and creatures from the basic MnM Beastiary (it is mentioned in the back of the book) who cannot talk.

The Tarrasque, I imagine, has a mighty roar.

There was a guy on RPGnet who was writing up as a game setting a city that was built around a captured Tarrasque. The city was uber-wealthy due to its nigh-endless supplies of magic item components, and the upper classes were all corrupt and mutated from their constant consumption of Tarrasque flesh. Fun stuff.

As for Tiamat . . . did you actually stat her body and each of her five heads up as separate characters?

Some of the writeups on Dicefreaks come to mind once again, particularly the one for Io ("Spells Known: All." "Possessions: Io's treasure horde is worth approximately 500,000,000,000 gp, and includes an enormous number of magic items and artifacts, in addition to massive quantities of more mundane treasure. ")

Pretty much, yeah.

I thought it would be the right way to do it. This way, she can attack with her claws, tail-stinger, or cast a spell in the same round that each of her heads gets to bite or use thier breath weapons.

There just seemed no other way to do so properly to me.

:!: I had to post all of the Githyanki variants, as they gain additional powers as they increase in Level. It can be a pain to have to create so many different write-ups at once, but it can also be pretty fun.

Wow that's one powerful Epic Lich!!!

I'm curious how do you convert skill ranks and combat levels of DnD into M&M?

Another example of sheer nastiness in a fight, Vlaakith isn't someone you'd want to face.

On another note I'm currently using the Iron Golem you wrote up to test a pair of my builds, will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I use the bonuses described from the original creatures/characters and attampt to keep them as close as possible, while also trying to keep in mind the general PL their combat abilities produce.

For instance, Vlaakith, here is supposed to be a 25-level Wizard. Wizards use the Poor Combat Bonus chart. Now, I realize that the chart ends at 20-th level, and is not supposed to advance beyond that, due to the Epic-Character Rules. For the purpose of these conversions, I will usually ignore this and continue down the chart. According to the bonuses (if the chart continued to 25th-level), a Wizard would get a +12 Attack Bonus, thus I gave Vlaakith a +12 Combat Bonus to both Attack and Defense (she has some additional Defense due to her Ring of Protection/Shield).

Using this method seems to make the conversions feel correct, at least in my opinion.
