Been awhile. I, like many of you, have been busy with RL, but, here is the first of a few originals I have been working on lately.

CHAOS (AKA Phillip Reed)

*Possible bonus from Impervious Protection, **Possible bonus from Immovable

COMMENTS: This fella is based upon an idea I had to create a 'real' version of the South Park pseudo-character Professor Chaos. As a villain, this version is far more of a threat to supers than Butters ever dreamed. Less 'mad scientist' and simular to what Mephisto is, being the physical embodiment of an ideal, chaos. The DAP are only possible 'settings' of course, being open to rearrangement at will, he will almost always have his force feild active, at full ranks, as long as he is conscious, wich costs him 26 points, and leaves him with 44 points to spread out on the other powers as needed. Unless my understanding of the MM rules is flawed.... This is my first toon since getting that book and UP, so questions and comments are welcome.
People are like diamonds, flawed... yet beautiful.

Hey, G. Long time no see. The trip did go well, but my liver is gonna pay for all that time at bars in Westport Plaza in Kansas City. My wallet already has. :D

You're right, the J-Mart team has grown by leaps and bounds. Insurance alone is going to kill me, but we're still going to stand by our pricing structure and quality, profit margins be damned!

Thanks for keeping the shelves stocked while I was gone, team. I'm going to be throwing out a ton of builds this weekend so it looks like OT for Dante and Randal again.

Oh, man...

Stop whining Randal.

This piece of merchandise is especially for Batgirl III, who is a huge fan of this particular item. Check it out on Aisle 2.

Comments: Just for the big Wolverine and X-23 fans out there like Godfallen and Batgirl III, here is a PL9 playable version of X-23. I had to do a lot of trimming from my original NPC build but she’s still a pretty wicked brawler. She can hit her offensive caps with Rage or Sneak Attack and like a good Wolvie clone, she is hard to keep down.

Clean Up 10/29/08: A few minor tweaks to my playable X-23 as I line out a potential chapter of the next storyline of which I would like her to make a cameo. I had never given her the lethal damage only drawback on her Claw Strike and I had mis-added her skills before.

Comments: The best he is at what he does, the old Canucklehead, Wolverine. He stabs, takes a beating, gets up and stabs again.

Not much different here than the other Wolverine builds, except the way I constructed his Strike. With his bone claws, ergo, he has a natural Strike. With his Adamantium skeleton enhancements, his Strike becomes more devastating, so I added another layer of Auto-Fire and Penetrating. I think it represents his ability well.

Clean Up 3/7/08: Gee, since the Wolvie love continues on the Tank, I thought it would be best for me to post another Wolverine build. This is an update of my original Wolvie build tweaked into a PL11 playable version for use in my Earth-69 setting. I know Godfallen will be THRILLED when I get ready to run this one.

This one is pretty much the same as my PL10 Wolvie, just a little more vicious in combat.

My original Wolvie build gets tweaked into playable mode.

Comments:
You knew I couldn’t wait much longer for a playable Wolvie…

He was a lot easier to build than I thought. I just trimmed the fat in his regeneration and feats and I built him with a dependence on his Rage or other feats to hit his caps and there you have it. He’s still a melee combat beast and still is hard as hell to keep down. Not surprisingly, I’m going to unleash him soon.

Clean Up 3/7/08: A couple of tweaks to this playable Wolvie build. I messed up some math before.

Had to tweak my PL10 Wolvie after reviewing it during my PL11 build.

You know, I didn’t know a think about either Tally Man I or this new one, but I had to stat the latest one up after skimming that bit about him and Jason Bard and the whole Harvey Dent’s gun thingy. Plus, I needed more characters for a Gotham thing I want to do, so he fits the bill. I built him with a higher OPL than DPL because he is supposed to be an expert marksman, but since he got taken out by Jason Bard, he can’t be that tough defensively…

Again, only going from Wikipedia and a skim of some books at a shop, I think I got the bulk of his style, but I could be wrong. As always, please advise if I am way off on something.

Clean Up 3/7/08: After reading a little more about The Tally Man, I am taking Dreaming Psion's advice and pumping him up to a PL8. Still can't see him being much higher than that, even if he did knock off KGBeast. Must have gotten the drop on him and rolled a Crit...

Finally got around to updating Tally Man. He gets pumped up quite a bit.

Another build I wanted to get posted during Black History Month, but didn't make it. I’ve had this one sitting on my hard drive for a while half-finished and after perusing a bit of Heroes for Hire stuff online, I decided to go ahead and knock this one out. I probably have Ms. Knight a PL too high, but I wanted her to come at playable level and the 135pp looked right so here she is.

Misty started out as a Marvel Blaxploitation era character that eventually started getting some decent run later on (as most black characters have as times have changed). She is a long time, off and on lover of Iron Fist (one of the first inter-racial romances depicted in comics) and a regular member of Cage’s and Fist’s Heroes for Hire. She and Colleen Wing also a regular book for a while as the Daughters of the Dragon so they are generally linked as well.

As her build goes, Misty is a martial artist/weapon master with a bionic arm thrown in for good old 70’s comics measure. It should be noted that her arm is bionic but no other enhancements were made to her body so she cannot lift a lot of weight, her super strength manifests itself in striking ability and the ability to crush things with an incredible grip. Apparently the arm was upgraded by Stark to also allow her liquefy things in her grip as well, apparently including Adamantium, hence the Corrosion power.

She’s not someone I would really want to run, but she and Colleen could show up as side characters in a Cage and Iron Fist story or something.

Black Comic History Month

Postby Tusitala » Sat Mar 08, 2008 1:39 am

I thought of a few characters you can stat out for next's BHM. Alternatively... we could just name March Black /Comics/ History Month. :-) The ones with a * are the ones I'd like to see most.

*Deathlok, Vox, *Rocket Racer, *Crimson Avenger III, Manhattan Guardian, *Orpheus (can't believe you have Onyx and not this guy... he clearly danced with Alvin Ailey, btw), Nighthrasher, Chunk, Deadly Nightshade, *Freedom Beast, Midnight Sun, Amazing Man III, Machiste, and *Sabre.

Start stattin', stat! ;-)

Very nice Misty Knight, she's an odd bundle of abilities but that tends to happen after thirty years of being a B-list co-star. Still, Heroes for Hire was about the only Civil War book I found readable, so that's something.

It occurs to me, however, that neither you or I have statted up Icon!
