Freeze has got to be my fav Bat Villain. I am not sure why, but the concept and the character itself really appealed to me. Something about a guy in a modified diving suit, wearing a giant inverted test-tube seems really cool (no pun intended). Really 1950's sci-fi classics kinda feel to him. Nice build. :D

A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

Hey, lack of sleep is worth it for Indy. My next midnight show will be The Dark Knight. Or maybe the Love Guru...

Been a long while since I posted someone so,

DUSK Dusk doesn't speak to anyone.
PL: 10
Height: 6' 8"
Weight: 280 lbs.
Eyes: White
Hair: Black

ABILITIES: STR: 20 (+5) DEX: 12 (+1) CON: 20 (+5) INT: 14 (+2) WIS: 20 (+5) CHA: 8 (-1)

Abilities 34 + Skills 12 (48 ranks) + Feats 21 + Powers 44 + Combat 28 + Saves 11 – Drawbacks 0 = 150 / 150

Comments: This guy is based on an older thread where the OP asked what a boogy man type (Mike Myers/Jason) would look like in MnM. This is alot of those ideas with the Mystic Knife ability from Jack-a-Knives. He came together pretty well. Pretty scary guy for the everyman on the street, and even some street-level toons. With his penetrating damage, he can even make some supers sweat a bit. I envisioned him as an anti-hero, different from the usual boogy men, but I like it.

Comments:
For those of you who have not been following the Immortal Iron Fist (shame on you) you’re probably unfamiliar with this build. This is the Prince of Orphans, AKA John Aman, who was known to Golden Age comic fans as The Amazing Man. He was taken to a monastery at a young age and trained to the peak of human ability (and beyond for a while) then came back to the US of A to fight crime. He was a Golden Age character of Malibu Comics who was bought by Marvel in 1994. He hadn’t shown up for many, many years and then lo and behold, they find out the original Iron Fist’s writers were inspired by his origin (Aman was trained by the Council of Seven, similar to the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven of which K’un-Lun was one) and they work him into the latest Immortal Iron Fist arc where he is one of the Immortal Weapons of the Capital Cities and he kicks total arse.

In addition to being a wicked martial artist, his money power is the ability to turn into a green mist and still being able to smack around his opponents who generally cannot touch him. Check out Immortal Iron Fist #12 and the one shot Orson Randall and The Green Mist of Death to see him at his best (so far).

I named his Strikes as they were named in the Immortal Iron Fist in all their wuxia glory. I plan on building all the Immortal Weapons over time, but I am only going to do a few now because I have other builds and fights I want to get to. But a new, more powerful Iron Fist build, Orson Randall, Fat Cobra and probably Tiger’s Beautiful Daughter will be coming soon.

And if anyone can find a good pic I can link to, please let me know!!!

Comments:
The Master of Kung Fu himself, Shang-Chi. I built him at PL11 to be equal to Iron Fist and Lady Shiva, who I consider to be the top non-meta martial artists in the Thorpacoverse. According to some, though, Shang-Chi is top dog regardless, but perhaps we’ll have to put that to the test sometime.

Shang-Chi has all the feats and skills one would expect of a top tier martial artist along with a Chi boost ability and several ranks in Deflect since he can apparently block bullets with his hands/bracers. He has to be in certain situations, or use his Chi to reach his caps, but whether he does or not, he’s a bad dude.

A J-Mart closet favorite hits the Aisle 12 shelves.

Speaking of closets....

Don't...go there, Randal...

All I was going to say is that I wish your jokes would be locked in a closet and have the key thrown away!

Well, I'm glad you took the high road instead of your usual...hey, wait a minute...SHUT UP, RANDAL!!!

Comments:
Don’t ask me why I was compelled to make this build, I just was…

From the Charlie’s Angels movies, here is the Creepy Thin Man, portrayed by a real creepy thin man, Crispin Glover. Both of those Angels movies left a bit to be desired, the first one wasn’t bad, and I actually own it. I own for three reasons: Cameron Diaz’s booty, the fact that I was $5 in a cheap DVD bin and the fight between Creepy Thing Man and the Angels, which is a classic of over the top wirework and surprising dexterity from all and Glover in particular.

Now the Thin Man is probably about a PL6-ish as portrayed in the movies, but I had to pump him up a bit for use in the Thorpacoverse. I think he’d make a great foil for DD, Robin or someone like that in a one-shot as the muscle for mob kingpin or something.

Comments:
A one shot (so far) villain from Kevin Smith’s run on Green Arrow, Onomatopoeia. He was pretty bad arse. They haven’t done anything with him since, but he was able to sneak up on nearly fatally shoot Connor Hawke (poor guy seems to have a knack for that happening to him) and when he came to finish the job, he nearly killed Connor and Ollie both, although Ollie was weakened from giving a blood transfusion.

O has two key traits. First he lives up to his name by repeating the sound that he uses in combat and/or to kill someone. If he shoots them he says “bang”. If he snaps their neck, he says “snap”. Very cool trait in the written format. The other thing is that he is damn hard to kill. He took 6-7 arrows from Ollie during their fight and was able to run off at full speed and then take a 7 story fall and get away. Based on the fact he was able to be hit, and did bleed and showed no signs of immediate healing, I geared his regeneration towards the more serious effects like Staggered, Disabled and Unconscious conditions and an Ultimate Toughness save for good measure. He will be a fun and challenging street level villain to run.

OK... that is a freaky character that I really like!!!

I had to smile, because he seems like a villian that would go up against the 60's Batman. Boooing, Smack, Pop, KaPow!

Sam Witwicky as portrayed by Shia LeBo…LaBou…LaBeau…whatever. The kid from Even Stevens…

Sam is all about not getting hit and aiding his big alien robot buddies when they need it. He ain’t a fighter, but apparently he’s a lover since he scored Megan Fox’s character in the movie and she is HOT beyond all that should be allowed. As I stated in my Transformers builds, I had no interest in the movie at all until the second trailer, then I decided to give it a shot and I ended up loving it. I am also loving Wordmaker’s story with them on his thread of course, I like the new animated series, I’m loving the fact that the movie is on Cinemax this month which means I get to see at least part of it at least 5 times a week now…things are just Transformer-riffic!

Speaking of which, I guess the big boys are due for a review soon, and I never finished Frenzy and Bonecrusher, and if I do that quick, I think I will be the first (not the best, by far) to complete all the bots from the movie.

I'm nott going to quite as prolific on the builds (but still kicking some out) or the next week or so because I am focusing on getting Dead In America completed. I'm almost done rolling out 3 of the 4 final fights, and I should have them all done tomorrow. Then the writing up and Epilogues will start and my goal is to have them all done before I go on vacation on June 7. I would have had a couple posted by now, but since all of them are taking place simultaneously, I wanted to see where I could overlap things to make it more of a coherent event.

After that, I want to do some random rumbles and then a short Gotham thing before I move into another major arc with some mystical stuff where I expand on my first fight with Spider Man and Gluttony where the BPRD show up.

But many more builds will be done during all that stuff as I push for 1000 builds here at J-Mart. We're almost to 850 so getting that milestone should be a piece of cake by end of summer.

Comments:
One of my favorites from the first Initiative class, Hardball. He’s a jerk, but a likeable jerk and has actually shown signs of real emotion in his relationship with Komodo. He also scored big points with me when he made Gyrich shut up once when he was berating the class by reminding him about the skeletons in his closet (i.e. MVP’s death among things). Great stuff.

Hardball makes…well, hard balls of energy that he can use for defense or offense. I get the feeling they have been holding back on his powers some, though. He is also indebted to man who is actually a HYDRA agent, so it will be interesting to see what they do with him in the future.
