Nothing more? There are a fifty score
varieties of comment. Nay, more
Just change the tone.
For Example:
Aggressive: "A nose in such a state,
I'd amputate"
Friendly: "It must dip in your cup,
you need a crane to hoist it up."
Descriptive: "A rock, a bluff, a cape!
No, a peninsula in size and shape!"

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! This build is great, Woodclaw. And thank you for recommending the movie for me. Unfortunately, my library still hasn’t gotten the DVD copy I ordered a few months ago. Apparently, it’s gone AWOL, so I’ll have to look online for it. However, from the few scenes I’ve seen, I most certainly will love it. Once again, thank you.

Once again, you’ve written another fantastic story, especially since I recently saw “Batman: Under the Red Hood.” Before that, I only knew Red Hood based on what I read from online sources. What I like was that this chapter is that it set Red Hood’s deeper side into the stage. The surprise ending was worth a decent number of points as well. The only problem is the whole “Deadpool is the leader” thing. So Deadpool was not talking to himself on the phone after all, or he got punked?

I thought the Owlman build was awesome as well. He stole the show in "Crisis on Two Earths." And in spite of his eyes being two bright circles, instead of intimidating slits like the bat’s, he is amazingly scarier. There is nothing quite as dangerous as someone who doesn’t care, because he has no diplomatic weaknesses. I also thought the Superwoman build was neat too.

And Happy Birthday!

Notes
Superman’s greatest foe, Lex Luthor, and man who embodies jealousy, endless spite and petty hate. His all-consuming feud with the man of steel is his defining characteristic and what make him Superman’s foil. Luthor is brilliant, charming, and wealthy, yet he’s also insecure, avaricious, and completely narcissistic, while Kal-El is kind, pure hearted, humble and has given everything in the service of others. Luthor is without true redeeming qualities, and no matter what he says, is completely evil. Which makes him the perfect villain and big bad for any story.
Luthor’s intellect is unmatched, and he is an expert manipulator. Though he prefers to be the puppet master in any given plot, Lex’s ego with cause him to gloat in front of his enemies if he has them in his clutches. If need be, Lex can don his battle suit and go toe-to-toe with almost any other hero (and come out the victor). However, it was build only as a last resort, and mostly with Superman in mind. As such, it isn’t designed to do much, and while more powerful than say Ironman’s, Lex’s is much simpler.

Another iconic evil genius, Victor Von Doom is probably the Marvel’s greatest super villain. Brilliant both in science and sorcery, Dr. Doom can easily be fitted into any scenario needed for a campaign. Also, being the ruler of his own country also gives him near limitless resources. Despite being a mastermind and planer first and foremost, Dr. Doom’s armor makes him one of the most challenging enemies for heroes to face in combat, making him a well rounded character, who’s only true weakness his pride and pettiness.

Notes
Emma Frost, the White Queen of the Hellfire club. She’s beautiful, intelligent, rich, snobby, and dresses like a superficial slut. All the ingredients for that girl in school (or work) that stole your heart, played with your feelings, then completely and utterly destroyed your existence by very publicly rejecting and mocking you, and then going off to laugh about it with her friends over lunch. Sadly, it would be a safe bet to say that sort of thing regularly on her Tuesday day-planer. And yet, in spit of her largely self-serving motives, Emma Frost is (currently) on the good guy’s side. Pity, I think she made a good villain.
I know you’re not supposed to use Trade Offs for mental powers, but I’ve always been willing to let that rule slide for many psychics, sense most of them are poor combatants outside of their powers. Anyway, Emma is a telepath who’s power and range is almost on par with Professor X’s. She can do just about anything with your mind that she wants to, from manipulating it to remolding it to ripping it apart. The White Queen can also change her body to an organic diamond form that makes her impervious to most conventional forms of damage. She’s also a savvy business woman and smooth talker.
In the Foxverse, Emma’s not a member of the X-Men, and is still a villain. However, as always, she’s more amoral and self-serving than actually evil, and still has standards.

Sorry to bring that up (you posted that a long time ago) But I think everyone who has Sharingan should be immune to feint, as he read the opponent mouvement easily. It would be a interaction skill immunity (-1) Limited to Feint... well its just a idea it gave me. Im thinking about a character who have Immunity to interaction skills, it could be awsome! A robot, skeleton or alien would be nice with this immunity :p

PS: My post was also to bring your post up a bit... I hope its still running, you have the talent of a novelist! Or at least a great fan-fic writer :)

My take on it is while the Sharingan makes it impossible to take the user by surprise (Uncanny Dodge: Visual), they can still be deceived. When Sasuke was fighting Naruto pre time skip, he couldn’t read the movement of the tails, if I recall correctly. I also consider it part of the Bluff check when feinting to make someone think you are moving to the left when you are really moving to the right, metaphorically speaking. Thank you for your impute, though.
And yes, this thread is still running (even if it is at a monstrously slow rate). I’ve been working on a fantasy novel for the better half of a year now, so you saying I have the talent of a novelist means a lot to me.

As I said in mail I sended you, Naruto in One-tail mode was NOT feinting. It was a Homing feat from the fox cloack, like a touch range blast with homing effect. Thats why it worked... He can see naruto moves but it serve to nothing because if it miss, the homing cloak attack and Sasuke was still surprised by that because its something he cannont read since its not Naruto who is feinting but pure chakra seeking is prey by instinct... Sharingan read the opponent mouvement of his body Sasuke could have read naruto mouvement because the flox cloak was not physical but pure energy.

And if you ever publish you roman, or need a person to give you feedback, just give me a call, it will be my pleasure :)

It's threads like this that make me wish these boards had a proper subscription feature. I look forward to the completion of Birds of Passage, as well as whenever you get around to writing a story with all these Jedi builds.

Notes
Orochimaru was a nightmare to stat up. He has a wide variety of Jutsu, and it seems his power fluctuates for the situation; on one hand, he’s able to go toe-to-toe with Four-Tails Naruto for a time, but the author has said that the three Sannin are all equal overall. As such, I wrote off most of his abilities as plot devices (such as his ability to jump bodies and his snake form), and just stated up him as he would appear as a normal villain with his more signature powers.
Orochimaru is a deadly competent, preferring to use trickery and physiological warfare to simply attacking head on. He likes to watch others suffer and squirm, so he uses attacks that disable and hinder while slowly killing his victims.
