Ah, thanks as always. I used Black Canary as a starting point and forgot to change the skill mods.

Great Psylocke!

I've already uploaded Spider-Man (link is in his build).

GREAT! Hmmmmm...You said you made Nefaria on HL so does that mean he's next?

Oh, lol. I was just thinking that you had already commented on Nefaria, so it was weird that you were looking for him. What I get for paying attention :roll:

Taliesin -

First off, I'd like to express my appreciation for your 3E build thread. Each build is elegant in construction and supported with the design notes, making it very handy for learning how to translate concept to stat sheet in the new rules.

Second, I shamelessly borrowed your Iceman build for an X-men game that's just getting off the ground in the game forum. I toyed with making my own build, but after reading yours I figured I'd already been too heavily influenced and there was no point in re-inventing the wheel, so to speak. Had to tweak him down to 150pts, but otherwise he's intact. I gave you credit in that game's OOC thread, but thought it would be appropriate to give you my thanks here as well.

Keep up the good work.

I'm going back and revising some of my older builds as I enter them into Herolab, so this is going a little more slowly. So far, I've added Captain America. I've wanted to tinker with that shield build for a while now. Hopefully other builds won't take as much revision.

I've been slowly doing that myself, but I think the only one I'm sure is complete is Annihilus. Otherwise, I'd just send the files to you. I did a lot of work last night, but the program crashed (HL has never done that to me before) and I hadn't saved any of it.

They are totally helpful. I'm running DCA at Owlcon, and I used your builds as benchmarks for some of the characters. (Wolverine for Dark Claw, for instance.)

Thanks!!

Ouch. That's too bad. I haven't had major issues with HL yet, but I did find its text entry boxes a little funky sometimes.

Anyway, I think it was a good time to revise some builds, considering most of them were version 1 builds done in July.

I'm good with how you are doing it. Great quality builds.

That is indeed true; I started off paying extra attention to this thread because Taliesin had a rep for being a good builder as well as a prolific one in 2e, and with inside info that many of us still don't have he had an extra leg up on the other 3e threads. Inputting them into HL (and I've decided it wasn't the program that screwed up on me the other night, it was Microsoft's idiotic auto-update nonsense) has had me take a very close look at them, and I think that not only are they good representations of the characters, they would be fun to play! Take a look at Cyclops, for example. I think most of the time if you got a group together and said "We're doing an X-Men scenario, who wants to play whom?" Cyke would be a low popularity choice. But the Taliesin write-up looks like one that could be a kick.

Taliesin;

I noticed something odd about your Captain Marvel build; he doesn't actually have Cosmic Awareness! He's got most of the things he can actually do with his extended cosmic awareness, but no actual CA or Benefit (Directed Inspiration). Was this on purpose?
