The game last night was fun! We went over the whirlwind of events it took -- from the last time InputJack ran his game -- to capture Two-Face (it was a BIG storyline).
During the game, we introduced one of the other player's girlfriend to M&M. She had never played a point-based system before; having only played games like D&D in the past. The options of building a character to be whatever she wanted intimidated her. But, once she got into the idea, she seemed to be having a lot of fun. One of the existing players is playing Catwoman; who has served her time in prison and has now joined the Bat-family. Our new player is running a character named "Kitten," who is an obsessive fangirl of Catwoman. Once this gets going along, I think this should be rather amusing.
Meanwhile the singer Cassady is coming to Gotham for her new concert tour. We are setting the Bat-family up in various spots to keep an eye on her and protect her from Firefly; who was one of many inmates to escape from Arkham during the New Year's Day mass-breakout orcestrated by Joker and Clayface. Nightwing has created the persona of "Sparky" Malone (illegitimate son of Matches Malone) to infiltrate the road crew as a union laborer.
In my Marvel Univserse, Hellcat was one of the founding members of the Avengers. She was one a covert SHIELD team with Hawkeye and Black Widow before that. They were investigating the rumors of a collective of supervillains in South America (which would eventually become the Masters of Evil) and were captured. Patsy was bound to a cat-like demon by the Enchantress. Eventually escaping, the trio made it out. Several months after the premiere of the Avengers, Patsy's lustful demon side took over and had her pose in an adult magazine. The pictures were published and she was forced off the team. She now works as an investigator with Heroes For Hire, Inc.
