Most fans I know don't know of him/remember him from the old Hostess adds, but I do! I have never seen IceMaster featured anywhere else, and there are so few Icy characters (Marvel).

Love the Icemaster. I remember as a kid seeing those Hostess ads and I thought he was a cool villain no pun intended. I didn't know he was from Asgard either.

He's actually one of very few -- possibly the only -- character to jump from the Hostess ads into mainstream Marvel. Even even has an entry in the Official Handbook! Named Bradley Kroon, apparently, he's fought both the Avengers and X-Men. Not much of a career, as villains go, but I do dig his character design.

No, Icemaster is not from Asgard. That is the background I gave him for my Marvel Game. He has no background listed that I could find (I'll have to check out Batgirl III's reference; Thanks, BG!), other than his Hostess encounter and his brief time as a member of the Crimson Cowl's Masters of Evil (see Thunderbolts volume 1, #24-25).
