LOL! I can't wait until he reads that. :D

Hey! I resemble that remark!

Actually, besides not being a big Norman Osborn fan (I always thought Dr. Octopus was a better master villain), I don't have any problems with the character of Superia. I would think, given her professed attitudes, she be wearing long pants, not a pvc minidress that's a dropped pistol away from a panty shot.

I guess even man-hating feminists in the comics have to bow to the needs of fanservice. Dang contractual obligations. :P

Fun fact: In the old days, it was considered the epitome of feminism to dress as skankily as possible (in the '20s, they actually SHOWED THEIR LEGS!! IMAGINE!), to reject the old idea that women should always be covered-up and hiding their sexuality. Throw that at the next person to complain about super-heroines dressing slutty, Horsenhero- in fact, Gamora & Moondragon are the ultimate feminists :)!

Am i losing my mind or what? I couldve sworn these builds were DCA compatible, like your superman and sentry builds being PL 15. Now they are 14? Are they still DCA compatible then?

@Jab- Anytime I bring up bra burning, flappers, girl produced porn, female CEO's with boytoys or the like, I'm usually savaged by the masses for using those things to justify the fact I'm a pig. It isn't true. I feel no need to justify being a pig. I just confuse people because in addition to being a pig, I'm pro-equal rights, anti-racist and generally contradictory.

And of course Gamora is the ultimate feminist...psychopathic killer is a career path mostly male dominated, so she's carving (literally) a new path for women.

@yellowmartian- The builds are all still DC compatible as far as the system being used. Are they different interpretations of the characters than the "official" builds? You betcha, but that neither makes them incompatible or invalid.

While Horsenhero is generally correct about the flexible state of compatibility, some of my builds here are not what I would truly consider DCA compatible. That was one of the reasons I restarted J-Mart II and the PC Superstore, to make this a thread that I can focus on building to the DCA core build levels. I am going through my high level paragons AGAIN and making the necessary adjustments, slowly but surely. You'll note my recent Supreme build is PL15 and I am working on Thor, Mister Majestic, Sentry and others to put them back at that level.

So see? Ask and ye shall receive at J-Mart! :D

Comments: So I could have whipped up a bigger name for this milestone build, since I have several that I haven't touched on yet but I decided to go with Bill because I dig him. I’ve always liked Beta Ray Bill, even though I haven't had a ton of exposure to him. I didn’t get to see much of his run as Thor but I have seen him in a few things post and he’s always come off well as a-not-quite Thor paragon that can still wreak havoc on a cosmic level. I really liked his Godhunter mini-series where he was out to kill Galactus and he realized the only way to do it was to keep him from feeding long enough to make him weak where he could take him out. So he kept beating the heralds to the planets Galactus wanted, relocated the populace, then destroyed the planet. Hence the ranks in Tactics…

But the thing I like about him is that he is generally always written as honorable and self-sacrificing and that's what a real hero is all about. Superman may not always come off exciting anymore, but he still sets that standard for what we really want in our heroes and Beta Ray Bill is in that same vein. As a build, I built him to be Thor’s equal in unarmed melee but Thor has a little edge on him in ranged and overall power with the higher PL. But put the hammers away and Thor is in trouble.

And I cannot take credit for the I Say Thee Neigh joke, even though I can't remember whose thread I got it from in 2E. Whoever it is, it still makes me giggle every time I read it so mad props! :D

Clean Up 5/17/12: Clean up to Bill while I was working on my Thor builds.

One more time, I SAY THEE, NEIGH!!! Clean up to BRB. Recognize.

Abilities 116 + Skills 20 (40 ranks) + Advantages 25 + Powers 106 + Defenses 21 = 288 / 288

Comments: The Mighty Thor, the patron deity of The JM and the entire J-Mart Franchise. The 3E Thor is not a lot different from my earlier Thunder God builds, he’s a team wrecker and total epic level hero. I have him at the top of my range (currently) for my main setting and I think it’s fitting. Thor is consistently portrayed as the “most powerful being on Earth” in most of the Marvel continuities. He’s been even more powerful since he came back and stopped holding back himself, or so he told Tony Stark when he laid the smack down on him shortly after his return.

In the Thorpacoverse, he’s still focusing on finding all the Asgardians who were transformed into human form during the Ragnarok breaking event. He has established New Asgard in Missouri (I’ll be damned if I let Oklahoma have it like they did in main continuity!), not too far from Central City. However, he is still involved in big events from time to time and as Donald Blake, he is working as a surgeon for a traveling medical team, allowing him to search the Asgardians as well as provide aid to the humans he has sworn to protect. And as stated in the Superman build, he and the other big name heroes are part-time members of both The Avengers and the Justice League.

Clean Up 11/18/10: Thor gets to be the first J-Mart 3E build to get a full review. Far more solid build now, cleaning up his Mjolnir array, getting rid of a few exta Advantages and so on.

Clean Up 4/20/11: One more review for Thor, taking him to PL15 and adding a few more tweaks.

Clean 7/26/11: Minor tweaks to Thor, just shifting some damage to attack and a few little updates.

Clean Up 3/6/12: Lots of updates to Thor during this thread remodel. Took him down a PL14 and changed his powers quite a bit.

Clean Up 5/17/12: And the yo-yo continues (for the last time).

Like I said with BRB, I was taking a look at Thor so he goes back to PL15 as I move the thread back to DCA Compatibility, at least for the major powerhouses/paragons.

Reputation: Destroyer of Las Vegas, maniacal villain
Rivalry: Stegron

Abilities 86 + Skills 15 (30 ranks) + Advantages 10 + Powers 29 + Defenses 20 = 160 / 160

Comments: Dinosaurus has become a great character in Invincible. At first, he seemed like your run of the mill, “I will destroy to save the Earth!” type of villain but Mark realizes he is more than that. After becoming disillusioned with what his superhero life has come to and realizing that beating up criminals all the time isn’t helping, he realizes Dinosaurus actually IS trying to save the Earth and Mark thinks that working together they can do it (without the massive loss of life his Las Vegas destruction caused). I can’t wait to see where they take that arc, but alas, I have to wait for the 16th Invincible TBP before I know because I am not reading spoilers anymore!

And now a new build to replace a PC build moved to the PC Superstore. This is Dinosaurus from Invincible. As you can read in the comments, he rocks. Can't wait to see what they do with his character.

It saves her life, she recovers and then she leaves him because of his monstrous appearance.
So he continues to job to try and find a way to get returned to normal and he’s even tried to reform, with little success. All the while pining for his lost love.

That Man-Bull picture might be one of the best jobbing pictures of all time! It's beautiful! And Dinosaurus rocks!

Comments: Madame Masque is an Iron Man foe that floated in limbo for a while until Bendis decided to use her as a love interest for The Hood a couple of years ago. And she was a very good second fiddle but as expected, she jobbed in the end. I think she might have finally croaked in the latest book, but since death is really more of a "condition" for most comic characters, I'm sure we'll see her again.

A she-jobber gets some love for now, the erstwhile Madame Masque.

I love your madame masque build considering I like her a lot myself. She's one of the few female Iron Man villainess isn't she? I'm surprised Tony Stark doesn't have more Ex girlfriends with an Axe to grind like her.
