He's a Nazi thug with tentacles for arms. There isn't much to say about this guy, though the Dodge/Parry dichotomy works well for him - his quick and precise tentacles make him hard to engage hand-to-hand, but do not protect him from being shot from a distance.

Looking for a second banner to illustrate this entry also lead me to realise he very briefly appeared in 2010 - update done while doing the usual improvements to texts and pictures.

Another member of the Aryan Brigade part of the Cadre. The main problem with Blind Faith is a powerful mind blast that she used exactly once, flooring the Martian. Marginal mechanics handle this in DCH, but I can't think of a proper tool in DCA and it certainly impacts her PL, so for now i've kept the blast on the side.

Blind Faith's entry recently had its texts and illustrations improved, though as I illustrate this article Isee I need to add a shot from her 2000s appearance. EDIT : done.

In games where she can use this ability, this raises her point total to an equivalent of PL9 and her Attack/Effect PL to 14, raising her Averaged PL to 6.8 due to her low defenses. Why she doesn't use this powerful attack more often is left to each GM's ingenuity.

The New Extremists component of the Cadre is even sketchier than the rest, and a lot of the stats are speculative. But then the reason for writing the Cadre up was to have generic, basic villains on hand.

Hey, GW!

I like the Golden Eagle profile! I especially liked the silent flight, stealth.

LOL. I thought the Brute was the Marvel character, but that one never ate any humans (that I am aware!) The DC one looks a lot like him though, minus the spikes! The stats are probably pretty close and interchangeable, except the INT for the Marvel character would be much higher.

The Counter-Earth Reed Richards Brute (say that a few times fast) was bloody powerful - he just mopped the floor with Ben. The Reed Brute -- who is indeed also big, muscled, hairless and violet-ish, like the DCU thug above -- has a very old profile by Peter on writeups.org.

We'll have to redo it one day, but after some recent Man-Beast work if I see Counter-Earth again I'll scream. 8)

The entry for the Cat (Greer Nelson in 1972, before Tigra) has recently been polished and reillustrated, so before we return to the Cadre goons...

I hesitated to distinguish her native abilities as Greer from her powers, but the list of enhanced this and enhanced that doesn't take too much room and it helps explain what her nebulous powers are.

More Cadre/Aryan Brigade thuggery, this one a big bruiser. Iron Cross is a bit annoying since he took damage from Black Canary's unarmed moves (and that was well before she was really trained by Shiva -- +1 or +2 damage bonus) but could go mano-a-marciano with the Manhunter (+15 or +16 damage bonus). With Dinah's Power Attack it's vaguely possible if she keeps rolling well and J'onn keeps rolling poorly, I suppose - but I've reused the Luck trick to have Iron Cross stand up a big better against upper-tier strong guys.

And of course, no Impervious - this alone would have solved the disparity were we not talkin' about a 15-points difference.

And yeah, this guy seems to have a very narrow repertoire of abilities.

A flying blaster from the Cadre version of the New Extremists. Like the rest, little is known about him - which means you can use him in your game however you like.

I guess I should rework the Enhanced Dodge While Flying thing into some previous profiles and the rules document... folks in comics are usually harder to hit when they're flying, but it is not built into the Flight Power in DCA (which is a fine design decision, mind you).
