Secret Identity- The Yu family are practically a dynasty in the martial arts world, and Mara is well-known in those circles.

Mara Yu grew up the only child, in a family that had been passing down its martial arts style for generations. She was a prodigy, fast and graceful beyond belief.
When Mara was a teen, she began to have strange dreams of a great dragon. In those dreams, the dragon was testing her, in contests of skill, courage, wit and wisdom. After a full year, the strange dreams suddenly stopped.
Over the next few months, Mara often experienced a strange feeling of lightness. She seemed able to jump higher, and move more easily than ever before. Then one day, when struck in sparring practice by her grandmother, the blow passed through her as if she were made of air.
Mara's grandmother was both elated and scared. She told Mara that the Yu family held the blood of one of the celestial dragons, and that occasionally, the dragon would find one of them worthy to wield a small portion of its power. She told Mara that the power was meant to be used to help people, and maintain the natural order of the world.
