Unstable Genetic Structure

Dexter Collins was a leading researcher in genetic recombination, when a lab accident caused him to be exposed to a chemical cocktail that rendered his DNA unstable. The only way he could restabilize his genetic structure was to prop it up with an infusion that mixed the DNA of multiple species of animal. Dexter knew there would be side-effects, but he hardly expected to gain the ability to transform into animal-human hybrid forms.
Dexter originally continued his work, hoping to return himself to normal, until he realized that his bosses did not want him to be cured. They wanted to recreate the process. Dexter left his job, and is working on his own now, but his own sense of right and wrong will not let him sit back when he sees a problem he has the power to solve.

Resile was built by an unknown organization, intended for assasination and kidnapping missions. She was, unfortunately for them, also built with a sense of right and wrong. Resile does not know what she should do with her "life", but her programmed directives are to help others and seek to survive.

With his looks and his abilities, Gabriel figured he had two options. He could become some supervillian's low-rent thug, or he could rise above, and fight to be seen as a good person in his own right. Choosing the name Grok, which he found appropriate both in menaing and sound, Gabriel equipped himself to be a force for good in the world, hoping to one day make it a place he could belong.

Incunabulum was discovered in the arcane workshop of a 15th century sorcerer known as Lord Blue. Though it required minor repairs, the mechanical construct was largely intact. Investigation of the documents and notes found in the workshop revealed that Incunabulum was not built solely for physical protection and servitude like most golems. Instead, Lord Blue also used the construct as a repository for all of his occult lore and knowledge, giving him a secure and well-protected library, that has actually out-lasted its creator by several centuries now.

Bad Reaction- Moving at Superspeed shreds Randal's skin, leaving him disfigured until he regenerates.

Randal Christopher was just one more up and coming young businessman with International Corp Inc, when he was accidently exposed to some odd chemicals while visiting a production facility. The chemical exposure gave him the ability to accelerate to superhuman speeds and a powerful regeneration. He also acquired issues with self-control, often acting without thinking or considering consequences.
Unfortunately, Randal was not granted immunity to the stress of moving at those speeds. His skin is lacerated and his muscles strained whenever he uses his speed. Although his injuries heal in a very short period of time, the way he looks while they are present, combined with his impetous behavior, has caused the press to give him the name "RASH".

Emma's abilities made her an obvious recruit that any superteam would love to have.
