Three-in-one: The Cuckoos are deeply connected to each other.

The Stepford Cuckoos are Celeste, Mindee, and Phoebe three clones of Emma Frost that can connect their brains together. Each of the girls alone is the same PL 8 as most of their classmates, hitting those caps with their mental dynamic arrays or their diamond form defense. However the girls also have the option of pooling their powers together and using their non-dynamic alternate power to boosts a sister's telepathic powers by up to 5 points anyway they want and bumping her will up a PL. All three surviving girls can add up to PL 10 and if Esme and Sophie come back the five-in-one would reach PL 12. Skill wise the Cuckoos are like mini-versions of Frost, but lack her presence because they finish each other's sentences and other really creepy things than can invade privacy or decency. All for the cost of a PL 9 PC. Esme is the one who broke away and became a bad guy. Sophie is the free thinker and dominant/heroic one. Irma "Mindee" is combative. Celeste is the one most connected to the rest of the group and a tattle-tale. Phoebe is the power hungry one with an appetite for destruction. All five of them have identical stats.

You seem to really get the characters and infuse them with the abilities we have seen in the comics. To me, that's what makes your builds so great. Plus the pics. Plus the care you put into them. Keep up the great work!

Arrogance: Shadow King considers the Astral Plane his domain and any other psychic is an inferior interloper.
Enemy: Charles Xavier was the first person to ever defeat him and banish him from a body into the astral plane. Storm defied him and left his service. Psylocke trapped him for years. Shadow King hates them all.
Obsession: Amahl Farouk is obsessed with a hedonistic lifestyle of stuffing his face, stuffing some woman, and then ruining a few lives.

Amahl Farouk is one of most despicable of the X-villains. He has no master plan or secret noble goals. He's just jacks people's brains and lives a life of crime and excess for them. His obsession isn't kidding about ruining lives because Storm, Karma, Siryn, and Pyslocke have all had really bad turns at his hands. Dude's body is long gone and he survives as an innately astral entity without form or substance. While in that state he can use his possession power to take over a body. Once in a body, he can open up with his dynamic telepathic array. If he's still astral the array powers will work against other astral projections and his PL 13 status makes him a fight for anybody there including his old enemy Professor X. The Shadow King knows how to scare and manipulate people just as well as he can run a criminal enterprise or he can just brainwash them to do his bidding. His will save is low because it hits caps with fortitude immunity but his arrogance could explain that. Good thing too, because either you're not hitting him at all physically or you're just hitting the innocent person he hijacked. Shadow King is a hugely expensive (3 separate powers more than 40 points!) and very depraved bad guy. He's evil and you've been warned.

Chaos Bringer: Strfye does stuff like kill the person who raised him, frame his genetic twin for murdering a great man, create and release the legacy virus, and try to take over the world. He's caraazy.
Enemy: Stryfe hates Cable for being the original and for fighting against his might. Stryfe hates Apocalypse for ruining their world. Stryfe hates Cyclops and Jean Grey for being bad parents and giving the real Nathan a chance to live.
Obsession: Getting "revenge" on those who have "wronged" him.

Stryfe is what Cable could have been if he had been free of the TO virus, genetically modified to be stronger-faster-smarter, and raised by Apocalypse. He costs 320 points because he's an omega level telepath, an omega level telekine, and a warlord from the future with a moonbase. He hits caps blowing people away mentally and physically (mentally physically). He doesn't have Cable's religiosity or field experience but does know a lot about technology and history and science and fermenting discord. Dude loves to monologue and he can be quite scary doing it, dazing people with his so obviously evil mastermindness. Instead of the ridiculousness of the Summers family tree, you could just say that Stryfe is the love (hate?) child of Darth Vader and the Shredder and you wouldn't be far off. Too bad he only had the one good story.

Reputation: Cable kinda comes off like a crazy hard ass terrorist. What with the yammering about the future and his transformation of the New Mutants to X-Force and the global $%!* stirring and the whole Providence thing.
TO Virus: Nathan's cyber parts are actually manifestations of the techno-organic virus he was infected with at birth EATING HIS LIVING BODY. Only his TK keeps it in check...

Cable is Nathan Christopher Charles Askani'son Dayspring Summers. This basically makes him Cyclops's and Jean Grey clone Madelyn Prior 's kid infected with Apocalypse's robotic flesh eating disease. And then sent into the future. And then raised by an alternate realty younger sister's future self. And then living in a hell on earth under Apocalypse's heal. And then leading the fight against Apocalypse. And then leading the fight against his own evil clone. And then getting sent back in time. And then getting involved in modern day comic shenanigans. Simple. Iconic Cable still has the TO virus growing and so has restricted powers. He uses a gun to hit PL 12 and also reaches caps on all his defenses. He's one of the best soldiers the world has ever seen but he's also a really spiritual guy. He's got a ton of complications to milk hero points from because his mutant powers suck. Unless he can focus them through his special stick. Then he trades in his armor (armor and the focused TK force field together break caps) and blasters and gets PL 10 X-men level TK/TP and a PL 11 melee attack. If he ever defeats the virus then he stats would switch to look a lot more like Stryfe's. To the point that he can lift his space station out of the ocean while soothing the whole world's ills while fighting the Silver Surfer while not making a mess fighting the Silver Surfer. The TO isn't all bad as Nathan gets a bunch of small powers due to cyber parts. Cable walks the earth seeking out trouble spots he remembers from the future and fixing them. Often with violence.

Could you please finish off the male psychics with an X-Man (Nate Grey) profile, before moving on to the New Mutants? X-Man was a fav of mine back in the day when he premiered. Plus, he fits in with Cable and Strife as another alternate reality "brother/self".

Okay. You got me. Nate then New Mutants. I guess he's in that book these days too, isn't he? When AoA first came out, I always picked Nate when we played X-men. He just looked so cool in his leather jacket with psi fire all over the place.

I meant "psychic guys" as psychic characters not psychic men. Guess I coulda been more clear. I will get Phoenix, Exodus, and Moondragon at some point. But Elias Bogan is pretty much just the benefit advantage and mind control power. I remember the guy from Extreme X-men but I don't think we ever even got to see him.

Not Built To Last: Sinister engineered Nate with a fail safe. His unbelievable power is supposed to burn out his body and kill him. Anytime Nate uses powers above 12 ranks, he's gonna start ripping himself apart. God help him if he actually uses Extraordinary Effort.

Relationship: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Cable and Rachel Summers are almost sorta his parents and big siblings. Forge was his real father figure. Threnody was his lady love. Nate and Maddie's relationship is...complicated.

Nate Grey is everything that Cable or Stryfe could have been. The Age of Apocalypse versions of Cyclops and the real Jean Grey were his genetic parents rather than Scott and clone Madelyne Pryor. He was grown in a vat by Mr. Sinister and then escaped to live with a troupe of traveling players before stabbing Holocaust in the chest with a shard of the M'Kraan Crustal and traveling to mainstream Earth. He showed up with enough psychic power to stomp Professor X or the Great Beasts. He can use that power to rip apart people's brains or bodies or the fabric of reality. Yeah, Nate can actually telekinetic tear through the world and end up in another one. He can also do that with walls. He can fly with people and shield them and talk to them on the other side of the universe. Despite his really ridiculous levels of power (PL 15 attacks, 14 force fields, and 12 saves) he doesn't have much else going on for him and is only 10 points over cost. But the little else is being very insightful, perceptive, and a good performer to gain a bit of a following. Aside from that its kinda just overwhelming mutant power from an alternate universe for X-man.

I never saw Elias Bogan, either, but he intrigued me as being so mysterious and powerful enough of a telepath to ensnare Rachel Summers' mind and keep her in his thrall. Someone said there is a pic of him (from somewhere) as eyes peering through a purpleish fog. (?)

Sam Guthrie is Thomas and Lucida Guthrie's eldest child and only the first of their huge brood to gain mutant powers. He showed up at Xavier's not knowin' how to stop or turn, but smart and committed enough to become leader of the New Mutants. Then he was field leader of X-Force and then he became the first New Mutant to join the legitimate X-men. So he's the first New Mutant to get a write up. He's a perfect PC at 150 points PL 10. Since he's nigh invulnerable while blastin' he hits his caps on defense. He can also shift around his dynamic blast field array to hit PL caps slammin' inta people or projectin' his field out. Cannonball may be a polite and fit young guy who can lead a team of X-men, but he never forgot his roots in Cumberland County, Kentucky. That's where he learned to farm, mine, play poker and say "Ah" instead of "I". Kid is the only X-man to ever win a fight with Gladiator.
