Ego...manic: Ego is an Elder of the Universe. He's one of the largest, oldest, and smartest living things ever. He tends to look down on lesser beings.
Hatred: Ego hates grubby little germ people. Especially the kind that try to live on or take pieces of him.
The Living Planet: Ego's concious spirit is bound to Ego's planetary body. They go together and typically lack hands and stuff. Harming vast swathes of Ego's body will also harm Ego's self.

Okay. So what with all the planet devouring, we need some planets to devour. This is the only one who actually gets character stats, Ego the living planet. Here Ego is stated as the intelligent, animating spirit of a planetary body. Rather than as a planet sized body. Because screw like 90 ranks of growth for somebody who doesn't even move his body. This Ego is an incorporeal spirit who knows exactly what's going on everywhere on the 4000ish miles of Ego the planet's surface. He can use that knowledge to initiate a bunch of perception ranged attacks. Because obviously the mind of a an ancient and huge being is also a storehouse of psionic power. That power can be channeled into typical telepathy, tk force bolts, or into controlling the substance of Ego's body to make grasping tentacles, attacking antibodies (below), stomach acid, or just whatever. Ego is an Elder of the Universe, so he's banned from Death just like the rest of them. In the end he's a fair fight for Thor or the Silver Surfer at PL 15 and also a big jerk. I think that this is a Roll Call first.

Proof that cosmic doesn't always mean high level. Sometimes the cosmos are just filled with regular people. Regular green people. Who can shapeshift. The Skrulls are those people. This is one of their basic warriors. He (or she) can look like damn near anything and do some decent bluffing to sneak up to or into damn near anyplace. Once there this PC points PL 6 space solider can hit caps with his (or her) blast gun offensively and body armor defensively. His (or her) ancient and warlike culture has produced basic grunts a step up from the entry level human solider, but they still get stomped by any legit heroes.

English needs a reliable third person singular gender neutral pronoun.

That's a really nice method of handling Ego, actually. I think the last person to try him (in 2nd edition) ended up with a TON of Growth and a bunch of stuff in a container, but this way works as well. Assessing the stat-value of what is essentially a grand-scale thing where you can walk inside a cave and find his giant brain is quite difficult.

Thanks, Jab! I looked and looked, but I couldn't find any previous builds of Ego. I originally tried Growth, but he started breaking caps at only 250 feet tall. That was so far from 4000 miles that I realized something else needed doing. I thought about limiting it to no stat bonuses like Giganta in H&V 1. Then I realized that he never uses his body to lift or strike, so why even bother with a Strength ability at all. Ego the Planet is a place you go to face Ego the controlling intelligence of said planet. I think it works.

Paibok is the Super Skrull's lesser cousin. He started off as a Captain in the Skrull Army and a spy, who went to Earth to have one of his soldiers replace Alicia Masters so that she could spy on the Fantastic Four. That plan went South when said agent, Lyja (his ex) fell in love with Johnny Storm. Paibok responded by getting crazy science modified just like Kl’rt. Rather than copy the FF, Paibok went for the X-men. So he has powers based on, but different from (and slightly lesser than) Colossus, Storm, Ice Man, and Angel (plus a random hypnotic stare). And that to the basic Skrull solider and it'd be pretty good. The Power Skrull does better because he's smarter and more skilled. He formed and led the Fearsome Foursome and killed Drax the Destroyer, so that's pretty damn good indeed. Paibok is PL 11 with unarmed combat and saves. His dynamic array of X-powers can also get him there with ranged attacks and active defenses if he splits the 36 points in there properly. He's also quite cultured and personable (for a Skrull).

Nice Skrull stuff, Gaz. Paibok should be used more, especially as a foil for the youngster teams in Marvel where his power level would be a good challenge for them but one that could be overcome. And his cultured demeanor would be a good "establishment" contrast that all the youthful exuberance.

I hadn't even thought of that, but its so true. A bunch of different powers at levels just high enough to challenge a group of PL 9s or a whole team of 8s and a contrasting personality sounds like a perfect teen team villain. I understand why they typically use Super Skrull instead of using Power Skrull but the power disparity means you can't use Kl'rt as often. Good call!

Kl'rt is the original Paibok is biting off the style of. After the Fantastic Four defeated the Skrull invasion of Earth, their Emperor was POed. He decided that he would have his own superbeing to fight them on their own terms. So he scoured his vast empire and paid out part of his vast fortune to find the warrior Kl'rt and imbue him with all the powers of the FF. That warrior training and power imbuing has made our green friend a PL 13 badass, easily capable of taking down any one or two of the FF and giving all them a good fight. The powers come mostly in two different dynamic arrays. One is for the bodily manipulations of the FF: invisibility, stretching, flame aura, and rock skin. Super-Skrull can shift 20 points around while also using his second array. That is where you find power projections like Sue's invisible fields, Johnny's gouts of fire, and Kl'rt's own hypnotic eyes. That array has 44 points to spend on getting up to caps. The SS here only makes caps unarmed without those arrays, but he's 80 points overcost, so its safe to say that's he's combat capable.

Ronan is the Supreme Accuser of the Kree Public Accuser Corps, this makes him THE man an intergalactic empire turns to in all matters of military and police action. It also makes him a PL 13 badass. This guy saved his entire civilization right out of the academy and THEN they gave him an uber weapon. Ronan is PL 13 with his universal weapon's ranged attacks and hits caps with his close attacks and his active defenses (as long as his force field is up). Aside from that he can hunt criminals, plan assaults, turn invisible, and rearrange matter! Best of all, this member of the Kree nobility descended directly from the ancient tribal ancestors who founded their civilization comes in at PC points cost. Second best, he's now married to Inhuman cutie, Crystal.

Thanks, Jab! I looked and looked, but I couldn't find any previous builds of Ego. I originally tried Growth, but he started breaking caps at only 250 feet tall. That was so far from 4000 miles that I realized something else needed doing. I thought about limiting it to no stat bonuses like Giganta in H&V 1. Then I realized that he never uses his body to lift or strike, so why even bother with a Strength ability at all. Ego the Planet is a place you go to face Ego the controlling intelligence of said planet. I think it works.
In Ego's very first appearance (before they knew he was a planet), he faced off against Thor, Hercules, Sif and a few other heavy hitters as a purple giant. I suppose since he uses this avatar so infrequently, it could simply be a power stunt.
