I like Anastasia. Nice, clean build. It's a shame there's no "cylinder area" (I think?), which might have been more appropriate for Upalanche. ... Don't most beings get "Detect Gravity" for free? :)

One would think but it still cost points as more than just what a normal person would, Anastasia was to be simple as they are teen heroes so not alot of hands on skill or power training as they have just come into their powers.

Will have a look i just took the power as it was in the gravity power pdf.

Upalanche
Shifting the direction of gravity, you cause loose debris
and objects to “fall” sideways or upwards to smash into
your targets. The rain of debris causes damage on two
consecutive rounds. Add more ranks of Area to create
even larger cascades of debris.

Backstory
Madelyn Di Bray was born in Paris, France to Genevieve and Antoine Di Bray. She was a bright child, who had shown an interest in and skill for music from a young age, which was encouraged by her parents. Her childhood was spent having expensive lessons from tutors and music teachers, and she had the potential to be whatever she wanted to be. However, when her education was complete, all Madelyn wanted to do was sing. She formed a band named “The Syrens” for which she was the lead singer, and became so famous she soon found herself touring all over the world. Her frequent travels combined with her education meant she had quite a nack for picking up languages.



Flashes of insight she shouldn’t have had, and hints of knowledge she couldn’t explain having peaked her curiosity about her skills, and she soon learned she had magical abilities as well. Confusion and curiosity lead her to explore her abilities further in order to learn to control them. During this exploration of her abilities, she learned – through comparing her research with her memories - she had memories of Hecate’s from when she was alive before. Filled with guilt for wrongs that weren’t truly hers, she felt it was her responsibility to make amends by using her new abilities to help people rather than repeat the wrongs Hecate had done in the past.

Your Hekate/Madelyn Di Bray looks pretty good to me. A nice bonus that you use a photo of one of the Weird sisters from Gargoyles. So I'm presuming that your going for some kind of Siren theme. Just one question. Is your mystical knowledge an array using Alternate Effects or are they separate powers that can be used at the same time? Could be cheaper with a magic array but I guess you built your Mystical Knowledge the way it is.

This sparks an idea which would make for a fun campaign I think, mix heroes with mythology so normal people wind up getting infused with the powers of the gods. Starting at PL 10 they have some control of their powers all the way to PL 15 and full on godhood.

Could be that the people that gain the powers exemplify the gods somehow, A mining magnate might get the powers of Hades (all the wealth in the earth belongs to him), a ship captain or a marine biologist gets the powers of Poseidon, etc.

Good to see your doing updates on your old builds. I generally like your builds overall. I just noticed your Alice Zane build with her Warhammer Mech. Your Warhammer Mech is what I would expect from a typical
battlemech. Though I would like to know how you converted the weapons since I find it hard to convert Battletech weapons to M&M. We should collaborate on a battletech conversion someday.

I would have commented sooner but I only just recently found Alice on your thread. Have you ever considered doing an index in your first page?

Sound idea i found easy to convert like pulse weapons and targeting computers. Some weapons im still working out how they should work like streak weapons.

Background
Kira is 26 years old, and was born and raised in Sydney. She has no siblings, and her parents died when they were caught in the middle of a bank robbery when she was 10 years old. Her Grandmother - her only surviving relative at the time - raised her from then on, but she died when Kira was 22, leaving Kira with no family. Having always had an interest in spiders, she grew up to become an arachnologist (person who studies spiders). Her profession calls for little socializing, and Kira hasn't ever been one to go out and meet people, so she has no friends. She knows plenty of people, but nobody she would really class as a real friend.

During the time of the Energy X landfall, she was in the outback photographing some of the spiders she was studying, but it was some time later she discovered she had been affected by the energy. While she was changing a tire on her jeep, the vehicle moved at the same moment she lost her footing, and she found herself under it. Without thinking, she pushed it off of herself. It was only after she had gotten to her feet and brushed herself off that the true impact of what had just happened struck her. At first she was just shocked, but gradually - as she noticed her sharper reflexes and improved strength more and more - she began to become frightened, unsure of what was happening to her, and afraid of what it could mean. Soon after she had discovered her new powers, she witnessed a crime in process, and used her new-found abilities to prevent it. It was then that she began to become less afraid of her new powers, realizing she could use them for something wonderful; fighting crime. So she designed some web shooters and a costume for herself, gave herself the name of Atrax, and spent what time she didn't devote to her arachnology bringing bad guys to justice. When she heard the cry for help from Patriot City, she knew this was her chance to make a difference in the world - and, perhaps, find peace for herself after the unfortunate way in which her parents died - and was eager to answer the call.
