But something happened in her last year that changed her from a confident and strong-willed young fighting mage to a reclusive and panic-attack ridden woman with mysterious scars from the neck to the soles.
She moved to Atlanta hoping to work for Echo, hoping that their trainers and experts would be able to cure her psychological problems if not the physical ones. Pre-invasion, they weren’t interested in someone so clearly damaged goods and rejected her application. She went into retreat into her apartment and began making a highly profitable living writing romance novels instead, sharing the apartment only with her familiar, a cat named Greymalkin and sees virtually no one. Most of her human contacts are via computer.
This is her bio from another website I found. From what I can remember, she can work her magic through the technology as well as through other people, though she would need a DNA sample to focus it more. Her highschool years were not only spent studying her magicks but also martial art skills, her school believing that a mage who cannot defend herself without magic is, well, just as dead with it, lol. She is especially talented with the quarterstaff. From what I read she can brighten an area through her magic, scry an area to make sure it isn't trapped, call forth the earth to aid her and her allies (it's variable depending on the terrain and sort of earth around. for example, if she were to be in a swampy area, she would receive help in the form of mud). I know she can definitely mind switch but doing so makes her especially vulnerable to mishaps (due to her deformities and constant excruciating pain, she wished she was in the body she was occupying and trapped the owner's consciousness in her own. She simply has to concentrate and divide her own wishes away from her switching). She is most certainly smart enough to invent a few gadgets her and there, such as the communication device that is powered by kinetic energy generated by the body wearing it and body heat. Very technically advanced, she spent her entire budget creating a computer interface so she can prove to people she can be of some use, using her hacking skills to greater effect with a better compu system. I know she can interface with computers via magic very quickly, and a trip to New Orleans gave me the idea that she could deflect other magics as well, in this instance two different people at the same time. A strange fact, she also has a very magically enhanced old computer that she can ask questions to get the answers she needs, though this is extremely limited by what she asks and what parameters her compu has been designed by.
From this that I stated I know she definitely has max ranks in Computers and Crafting wit the Inventor feat. Magic, of course (though I cannot for the life of me figure out the default) with Datalink, Environmental Control (light), Mind Switch, Obscure Mist (forgot to mention this, lol), 2 Devices (one w/ communications & a magical GPS link, and one w/ post-cognition), Earth Control w/ a variable power determined by GM ( I think anyways). After that I got no idea what other powers she exhibits. I do know she was (before her accident and impending agoraphobia) a very prestigious martial arts fighter but I have no idea what to choose to represent this feat wise, especially with the staff. I know she will have at least some points in minion so she can have her very devoted cat familiar. So, guys, my question was one for those who have read that set of books, have I missed anything else for Vicky Vee? and also how would y'all build her with this and whatever else you had in mind.
, can anyone give me a hand in this? Just before I go to bed, I will check on again, and if no one has any clue, I will try to explain who Vicky Vee here is, as well as many qualities and abilities she has and maybe we can get the mill going for ideas,
