Yûki was a trust funder. There was nothing he couldn't get with his family's money. Extremely arrogant about it too. Until he messed with the the wrong people. No one told him Hideko, the woman he was dating, was a mob boss's daughter. Him, being the jackhole he always was, thought she was just another pretty girl to smash and leave. Though he found out the bitch was clingy. And him being a son of a prominent business owner made him too easy to find. He felt like he was her piece of property! Sure the sex was awesome, but was it worth being stalked? Then things really got bananas. One night of unprotected passion lead to his doom. It was about 4 weeks later when she found out she was pregnant. Her father didn't it well. He called out a bounty on Yûki's head. Yûki was brought before him, Hideko was there. She seemed sad, but like she had seen this scene a million times before. He was shot seven times, execution style, and then taken out into the desert to be buried.

Though Yûki felt his conscious leave his body he never died. While two foot soldiers were digging a grave in the sand, they felt something weird. It was like a sickness draining their vitality. They sluggishly tried to run but were dessicated husks before they could even get road. Yûki stood up feeling the back of his neck. The large holes were gone! Somehow fate had favored him to receive a gift. The ability to use people's moisture against them and for himself. Fate had also given him a vendetta, a grudge, a hatred of all things organized crime. He drove back to Hideko's father's home, broke in and took his third victim. It was liberating, really. He could get used to this. Thus he began his holy mission to rid the underworld of it's minions.

:arrow: We could pick an archetype from the book or roll on the GM Kit character creator. I chose the latter.

:arrow: Replaced Cunning with Assertive, juggled a few points a round and this is what I came up with!

:arrow: Update 29 July, 2012. Had 62 points in Abilities, not 64. put the two missing points on the Magic Axe. Reach, he can use it for a short range boomerang effect, and Feature (Summonable), as along as it's unattended, he can summon it to his hands from anywhere

Real Name: Verdole Nokdath

Verdole Nokdath comes from a future where the bombs blew everything to smithereens. Society reverted back to it's barbaric roots. 200 years feudalistic kingdoms dotted the landscape with war and magic. Verdole was to take his father's throne, but the war-sorceress Basthoth, ruler of a larger kingdom, would take this opportunity to invade the sizable kingdom. The proud warriors fought, but they were overwhelmed two to one. Crashing the castle gates, Basthoth would do battle with Verdole. Both stood toe to toe, neither giving an inch. When she felled him, she made him an offer. He was a great warrior and she could use him in her new kingdom extension. The people of the kingdom would obey their slave master if they were one of their own. Verdole did not take kindly to this and tried to go out in a blaze of glory. Instead of killing him, Bastoth restrained him and took him to the highest mountain in the land. from there they could see his kingdom. with a wave of her hand the whole kingdom burned to the ground. She told him that this was only the beginning of his punishment. She would exile the warrior-would-be-king to the distant past, but only after erasing his memory of who he was! She supplied him with a magic sword that would keep tabs on him from the future.

When he arrived he was quickly sequestered by Thomas Rhymer after the occult detective had his apartment sacked by the angry barbarian. Thomas figured a big strong guy like this guy could help with his new venture in Emerald City. The two became fast friends and what Verdole knows about where he is now is because of Rhymer. While Verdole thinks Rhymer is a staunch cynic, he sees the good in him. The two reside in Emerald City. Rhymer has Rhymer Investigations and Verdole helps him out when he needs some muscle.

Madilyne grew up in a scenicly beautiful, but isolated village in Italy. While she was a quiet girl, a bit of a wallflower, she hated being basically alone. She wanted to escape from the couped up village! She loved to do was read and write, that got her mind away from the drugery of it all. She would stay up all hours of the night reading and writing online what she had read about. She eventually tried her hand at writing her own novels. Her first book, A Minstrel In Time (an adventure about an immortal woman growing up over the span of centuries and giving her account of it), was somewhat a labor of love. It sold well, enough to buy her a ticket to England when she turned 16.

The quiet girl from Italy enjoyed the sights of the beautiful country and eventually settled down in London. She got the rights to A Minstrel In Time from her first publisher and gave it to a much more successful one. This is when she hit the big time. The expanded audience ate it up. She's currently working on her fith book in the series. Right now she's in the process of moving to America. Lake City would be the next stepping stone for the quiet girl from Italy. Who knows what will happen next?

Summer was a miracle of sorts. Her mother made a bargin with a fae prince of Arcadia. If she were to have at least one child she would be in his debt. Let it be said, "never make such an offer to any fae, much less one with power." Her mother, while barren, carried the prince's child. Conceived on the summer solstice and born on the winter solstice, Summer was a tiny baby who they didn't expect to live. Though her mother knew that the fae prince would not let his end of the bargin fail. What she didn't know is that princes change by season. In the spring and summer, they are seelie. In the autumn and winter they are unseelie. A month after Summer was born, the prince arrived and made his plans known. He would take the child during the winter and spring months, so Summer could see the fair and foul of her kin. The mother's tears did not stop him as fae, both seelie and unseelie are oathbound.

So Summer was taken, year after year. She she learned to love the realm of Arcadia as her home, but she also accepted the banality of her Earth home too. Every time she would come to Arcadia she would live through six months of pure fantasy. She knew the traditions of the land, some through tale and some through direct experience! Magic was in her blood, but it was very hard to learn seeing as she was half-mortal. Dark magic was easier to learn and thus she picked it up quicker. Her father taught it to her in the winter, but in the spring he warned her of the impending danger of relying on it for her every day life. He taught her to use her great power with great responsibility! Everytime she would go back to Earth, she would balance her surreal time in Arcadia with some cold reality. She had mortal friends. She was entertained by mortals. She enjoyed the mortal life. That all changed in 2002.

That summer saw the destruction of many worlds in the multiverse. Her world was one of them. Luckily, her father spirited her away in time. She watched as many many earth realms fell. She felt so very small in the scheme of things. While her father comforted her it did not end the agony of lsong half her life. Though one Earth stood up to the threat of anhilation. One earth where beings were more than normal. Their earth had a champion that sacrificed his life to save it. She wished to be part of such a heroic world. One where she could use her power for the greater good. Her father got in contact with Adrian Eldrich. The Master Mage listened to Summer's plight. Seeing as she was human, she wasn't breaking the Pact. Eldrich put her on probation and said her visits to Arcadia would have to stop. Her father wanted her to be happy. He said to give a summon once a season and he would be appeased.

For the past ten years she's been doing her hero thing in Freedom City. She's made a few wise investments over the years and has become an independently wealthy socialite, a rags to riches story that the media loves to dig through. Though when they found out her secret identity, rather than hide away, she embraced being a public identity hero.
