[Mr.Sandman]

Tiel Melnezoth was bonded to his first partner at 1 decade as a team in the UNIversal FOrce Restriction Mission or UNIFORM (yes, the pun makes sense in all known languages). 2 years later they were captured by the Grue during a diplomatic mission. They separated and tortured both of them and while his partner died within 10 years Tiel survived 3 decades before he escaped and landed on Earth.

Nathan Hillman went to school to be a detective but, while a great student, Nathan was not the most physicly fit of his classmates. After graduation he went back for a degree in literature and became a respected writer of mystery novels. He was sitting on his favorite hilltop to think when Tiel crashed nearby. He was the first person there and this bit of luck changed both of thei lives.

Tiel saw a goodness in Nathan that he latched on to. While his long imprisonment had made him forget all of the abilities he possesed when bonded he stilwas decided he decided to bond with the human. They took to fighting crime in the streets of Emerald City and, when a news report said they vanished like mist in the night, took up the name Nightmist. Slowly Tiel's abilities are returning to him making Nightmist even more a force for justice.

Complications
Enemies: The Grue, UNIFORM. Tiel escaped the Grue and they hold a grudge. UNIFORM did not authorize the bond between the human and the simbiote and may come looking for them.

Family Secret: Nathans father is secretly a retired AGEIS agent while his mother is the former supervillianess Madam Strike. They have given up their former jobs but old foes who figure out who they are may not give up so easy.

Secret: Noone knows Nathan is Nightmist, or about the alien symbiot he keeps disguised as a notebook and he hopes to keep it that way.
