 Tony Stark of Earth-IV has pretty much the same personality and history as the Iron Man from the recent Marvel films. His armor is a little different, as he needs to be able to go toe-to-armored-toe with very different threats "in a world of jet-powered apes and time travel."

She-Hulk dead, nooo! Although realistically some heroes and even villains will die, but why did it have to be her. I love her spunky attitude and how she is one of the few people who can leave even the Thing flustered.
Black Widow's Insight should be +6 total, Iron Man's Investigation should be +18 total.

OK, let's start by saying that the Daily Bugle cover is an amazing photoshop.

Second-it's an awesome example of Tony. Stats-wise (Well, I'm not good with the system still, but it LOOKS good), and characterization-wise.

MAybe I'm wrong, but the movie version of Tony.... he's still a jerkass, but he's a tolerable jerkass (to me). Next to the current (talking slightly before, during, and a long time after Civil War) comics characterization of Tony, who is just plain toxic levels of jerk.

I always enjoy seeing how people structure their own superhero universes and your Earth IV is an interesting take on things. I'd love to see more.

I can't say I love all of your build decisions. Some of your skill ranks especially seem a little low to me. But I do really like how you put flaws or partial flaws on certain effects to indicate characters concentrating on or pushing those powers to get them working.

BACKGROUND
Real Name: Oliver Jonas "Ollie" Queen
Occupation: Intelligence Operative (Idle Rich Guy)
Base of Operations: Metropolis, DE
Date of Birth: August 2, 1980 (Age 32)
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 200 lbs.
Eyes: Green
Hair: Blonde
Notable Relatives: None
Race: Human
Status: Citizen of the United States with no criminal record.

Green Arrow is a vigilante superhero who fights crime using archery, martial arts, and snark. In his semi-secret identity he is Oliver Queen, living in Metropolis as the wealthy playboy and idle heir of a multinational conglomerate.

As a young child Oliver idolized his hero Robin Hood and was said to be a natural archer, frequently practicing with his bow and arrows. He was mildly traumatized the first time he accidentally killed an animal, but when his mother and father were mauled by lions in a tragic safari accident his hesitation to shoot cost them their lives. Afterwards he was raised by his uncle and eventually inherited the family fortune and business.

By 1997, Queen had grown into a rich thrill-seeking drunken young playboy with no real sense of responsibility or direction in his life. Everything changed when he fell off his boat in the middle of the ocean and washed ashore on the remote isolated Starfish Island, clutching a bow –- a memento from a Robin Hood movie -– which he had used to keep himself afloat, where he was completely stranded. During the three yeasr time spent on the island without food or shelter Queen developed his skills as a hunter to survive and gained mastery over his bow. Having previously taken everything in his life for granted, this experience taught him self-reliance and made him into a man. His second test of new character was the discovery of drug smugglers on the island. Using his new skills, he attacked and destroyed their heroin operation, then delivered them to the authorities before returning home in 2000.

Realizing that he had found his destiny, he chose to use his abilities and resources as a crime-fighter. His solo career as a masked vigilante only lasted a few months, he had little reservations about using lethal force and killed nine criminals in his first three months. This brought him to the attention of Nick Fury, who recruited him into S.H.I.E.L.D.

During one of his most recent mission, Queen was assigned to guarding the Tesseract at a S.H.I.E.L.D. research facility. When it began emitting increased levels of gamma radiation the entire facility was placed on high alert and most staff were evacuated, while Queen and a few others remained as rearguard for as long as they could. The emissions proved to be a precursor to the unexpected appearance of Loki, who had used it to reach Earth extradimensionally. Queen and the other guards were quickly overpowered and Green Arrow was promptly enslaved into Loki's service.

For a time, Queen served Loki as a guard, enforcer, and assassin, completely without volition. When Loki was incarcerated in the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, Queen led a commando raid against the vessel to extricate him, as well as to directly add to the chaos that Loki was seeding within his enemies. The attack drew him into direct conflict with Black Widow, his staunchest ally, who both bested him in close quarters and scored a blow to his head that helped to dislodge Loki's hold over him.

Upon recovering from the ordeal, Queen vowed to put Loki down. To that end he joined Captain America, Wasp, and Black Widow and headed to New York City. Once there, the four quickly formed up with Thor, the Hulk, Iron Man, to fight Loki and the invading aliens together. When the battle was over Hawkeye and the others remained in service with S.H.I.E.L.D. until the next time the world would call on the Avengers.

 Perhaps one of the most blantant amalgamations in Earth-IV, Green Arrow get's the mainstream DCU's origins but the modern day of the Marvel 'Movie-verse' Hawkeye. A splash of Ultimate Hawkeye brings his combat prowess up to as a PL10 character.

An inspired amalgam of two characters and various versions of them, love this take on Green Arrow. What would be funny is if Cint Barton was either Oliver's nephew or an old family friend. Or even have him be the new Speedy to Green Arrow. His Investigation should be +5 though, unless he is using Awareness instead of Intellect.

Hmm... maybe I'll make Barton into Merlyn (if I ever get around to Green Arrow villains). I was always a little annoyed by that character. He could have been awesome, but they never really revamped his Silver Age hijinks into something more sensible. His real name was "Arthur King" and his motivations were never much more than "because I'm evil!" it was just kinda off-putting.

 As with Iron Man, the background of Earth-IV's Hulk is essentially identitcal to the one seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although a few members of the "supporting cast" would have been different. Notably, Bruce Banner's former Harvard co-ed/girlfriend Dr. Betty Ross is replaced by Dr. Lana Lang, who had pursued her agricultural science studies to the point that she was working for the DoD on a means to defend crops from bioweapons. Likewise, the role of Gen."Thunderbolt" Ross is filled in by Gen. Sam Lane.

 Hulk also sees a boost in power to more "comicbook" like levels; he's meant to be the Avengers primary weapon against serious metahuman threats like SUperman or Captain Marvel. He doesn't have their mobility or tactical nuance, but he dwarfs just about anything short of the New Gods in physical might.

And anyone who doesn't flinch even a little when faced with an almost 9' tall green behemoth like the Hulk is definately someone you need the Hulk to deal with.

I'm super curious... how come Tony's Life Support is sustained? It doesn't save him any points, and the only reason to make it sustained is to power stunt off of it... and with Life Support it's really kind of a flaw you're not getting anything for, 'cuz if he's knocked unconscious while... say... under water, he's a dead man.

Great work so far BG, I admit I'm not very entusiast about your choice of merging Ollie and Clint - mostly because I liked their rivalry in JLA-Avengers - but I can see the reasoning behind it.

I allow the AI Feature to sustain certain effects (orperform other minor actions, like place cellphone calls) on behalf of the user. Sustained Immunity allows Tony to mimic actions seen in the comics, like power stunted Immunities ("Remodulate the polarity!" or other technobabel.) And with JARVIS acting to sustain it, being knocked unconscious underwater or in space carries the risk of also loosing the AI.

Real Name: Donald "Don" Blake

Occupation: US Marshal (Doctor)
Base of Operations: New York, NY
Date of Birth: August 11, 1983 (Age 29)

Weight: 150 lbs. (as Don Blake) 225 lbs. (as Thor)
Eyes: Blue (as Don Blake) Green (as Thor)
Hair: Blonde (as Don Blake) Auburn (as Thor)
Notable Relatives: None
Race: Human-host of New God avatar
Status: Citizen of the United States with no criminal record.

The Highfather of the New Gods decided that it was time Thor learned humility. Odin had Thor surrender his hammer to him, and then sent him to Earth in the mortal guise of a crippled young medical student named Donald Blake, stripped of his memory of his true identity. Don Blake did not exist prior to the Highfather willed it to be, created to be the host for his son Thor. This act of creation occurred sometime in the early 21st Century, but was somehow retroactive to the late 20th Century. Creating a full history and complete memories for the new young man. As Blake, Thor learned the value of humble perseverance in dealing with his injured leg, and he came to care for the sick and dying, first as a medical student, and later as a successful physician. After leaving medical school, Blake opened a private practice in New York, and quickly gained renown as a great surgeon.

After Thor had spent ten years in the role of Blake, the Highfather planted within his mind the suggestion to take a vacation to the American southwest. While hiking in the desert late one night, strange behavior in the night sky fascinated him and he wandered out into the desert... only to be struck by the van being driven by Dr. Jane Foster, Dr. Erik Selvig, and their intern Darcy Lewis. He awakened with a start, a combination of the blow to the head and the strange energies of the Biforst unlocking his memories, realizing he was on Earth and began shouting to Heimdall to open the Bifrost. The humans believed Thor to be crazy and, when Darcy threatened Thor with a taser, he was disgusted at her actions and she tazed him.

He awoke in a hospital, but broke out briefly before being hit again by a car, again driven by Jane. Jane, Erik and Darcy took him back to their "Wormhole Research Center" where Jane gave him some clothes. Later that day, while eating with his new friends at a local diner, Thor overheard some locals talking about a "satellite" that crashed to Earth...

 Another Avenger that holds fairly close to his Earth-199999 counterpart; the primary difference being that Thor is still not up to his full power. Most of the time, he is Donald Blake a gifted surgeon with a crippled leg... but when need arises he may strike his cane against the ground and assume his guise as Thor. The Highfather has not yet restored all of his true power and hasn't yet said why...

 Thor is probably the only Avenger capable of containing the Hulk, he can't beat him but if he fights smart he can keep the Green Goliath occupied and focused on him. Similarly, Nightwing's war-game scenarios for other possible scenarios that cross the "Banner Threshold" call for Thor to work with the Hulk to double-team Superman or Captain Marvel.

Nice mix of the 616 comic origin and movieverse origin. At full power he could probably take on Superman on his own and win. Although his New God Physiology and the Enhanced Strength for lifting should be 3 with total cost of 12 for the NGP, if his lifting Strength is 13.
And is it just me or does that picture make it look like Thor is literally breaking the 4th wall and coming out towards you.
