I've been using an Excel sheet that I created that lets me do the numbermancy in the direction that I want. I have Hero Lab but it just doesn't do the math the way that I tend to think about things (saves, skills and a few other things acting as subsets of the overall attribute).
I've been struggling (with the help of Millennium) on a character concept for his
Batch 9 game and haven't had much luck at all. I was hoping to get some feedback on where we're going wrong.
Name Jormugandr ("Girl in the Box")
Complications:
"The Flesh is Weak" (Handicap): In order to contain Jormugandr, the government had to do extensive physical damage and must constant regular medical care.
"Faraday Cage" (Weakness): Sufficient shielding (like the sarcophagus) will block her from using most of her powers.
"Public Enemy" (Hunted): The only reason the government has kept her alive is because she might be a valuable weapon. That could change.
"Scrubbed": No public record of her existence remains, leaving her without basic rights as a citizen.
"Vindictive": No slight shall be tolerated, death is only the end of misery.

The biggest problem seems to be trying to stay combat effective while keeping character concept in the forefront. A few ideas that I've played around with (but couldn't get anywhere with) are having an alternate form or having sidekick/minion/summon to represent the technopathic ability.
