I posted some IC justification for Polaris not paying attention. OOC I was RL-pressed and lost track of this game. Sorry.

I'm not really sure what Polaris' senses are capable of (colors, type of material). I hope the IC post is detailed enough. If not, just ask for the details she is looking for.

She sees metals and conductive materials. She can't see anything else. I.e. when seeing Wolverine behind a wall, she only sees his metal skeleton. When looking at a machine, she could see all metal parts including those inside other parts, but she couldn't tell which wire was red and which blue cause she could not see their plastic insulation at all and she could not read letters painted on. Looking at a door, she could see the metal hinges, the lock and the brass handle but not the door itself or anything on it. Looking at a gangbanger, she could see his uzi, his spare bullet cartridges, his jewelry, his belt straps, the metal parts of his watch and any metal coins he had on him but not his face, his clothes, paper money or his body at all.

And so on. I'd say that knowing the type of material would require a technology check as normal. Recognizing cooper wires or iron bars is trivial for most people. Telling one type of steel from another or steel from titanium is a lot harder to do visually. Telling platinum from iridium is almost impossible.

Alright, I think then I have described everything. Without seeing paint or anything she can discern those two humanoid robots (limbs and everything exactly as a human) with slightly different sizes, but in the human norm, laying on the ground. They are similarly advanced as the Sentinels, but of a different design as far as she can tell. And the water tower has a small metal lock.

Still no momentum for this game

Perhaps I should wrap it up? Seems this old adventure with using not self-created characters doesn't work here.

I had another idea for a low-level Batman/Punisher/Watchman game with no character having superpowers beyond some very subtle ones with the training descriptor and equipment. Would be a darker story set in a semi-real world with gangs and organized crime as the adversaries. Players from this game would get a guaranteed place in it, if they want.

Or should I give this game a last change?

I'm game for either. I just don't think that being the only active player I can keep the game momentum up.

Evolución, you were the only one answering in a week... I'm going to close this soon and check for interest for the adventure I described above.
