Carter starts carefully going through the massive assortment of wires and electronics, quickly sorting out the design when Rin suddenly appears nearby.

Carter merely mumbles back an answer as he gives his teammate a quick thumbs up before he continues on with his work on the warhead’s wiring and after several minutes of his digging into the guts of the warhead and basically climbing into the large frame of the warhead so he can better sort out the collection of wires and tracing where all they connected to he carefully severed several selected wires.
As he extracted himself from the warhead Carter let out a long breath of relief then he gives Rin a smile that made it clear he'd succeeded in disarming the device.
