Unable to block sound with his shield, you leave Azuza flattened for the moment.

With Misaki and Azuza out of it for this round, that leads us to Ares.

Fandango shakes his head, "You know, that was obvious in hindsight. I should have gone with one of my sound manipulating heroes."

"Yeah, about that. We're going to need to do that with as little damage to the surrounding ecosystem as possible. Now I know it would be presumptuous for someone like me suggest restarint to a ruler such as yourself; I would ask that if you intention is to create more active volcanoes, that you leave the task to us. We are more than capable of sinking these remaining factories into the Earth."

Moebius walks over to Azuza, the downed King of Juria now all but helpless. Instead of attacking however, he offers Azuza a hand up. When he speaks, his voice is clear and strong, but with an sincerity and empathy that cannot be faked."Azuza, I can understand the desire to protect your family, the guilt that can come from not being there for them in their time of need, and the desire to make the most of a bad situation. When I was young, my father abandoned my mother and I to pursue his own quest for a hidden city. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years helping my mother, and then caring for her as she became sick. And then she died while I was away, searching for my father so that he might be there with her in her last moments. She died alone, because I had been searching for a man who was already dead.

"Family is important. It took the loss of mine to truly make me understand that. I would not wish that on you, and it is a credit to yourself that you truly just want to do right by your own loved ones. But my people have just as much a right to live as yours. The lives of my friends, allies, of the billions of innocent lives that you would unintentionally sacrifice, are no less important than the family you want to protect. By aiding this invasion, you can only help those that would enslave and butcher us to save so small a group that it is of no help at all to anyone at all, and will work only to sooth your own conscience about what you could have done. 'I did everything that I could. I was making the best of a bad situation', you will tell yourself, but in your heart of hearts, you will know that is not true. That there was another way.

"I have the ability to end this fight right now, but I choose to believe that despite your posturing, you know what you're doing is wrong. You, conversely, have the ability to turn this war around for humanity. You have seen what we have done, what we are capable of. We have sent the Reach fleeing, defeated the pride of the Daemonites, and more. If we can fight and triumph against such forces alone, imagine what my people and yours can do together?

"Stand by us as allies, and we can protect all of our loved ones together. Or if you will not risk your people, then simply take your family living on Earth and leave. If you cannot help us directly, then let us stand on our own without aiding our enemies. If we are to live or die without your aid, then allow us the dignity of whatever might come on our own terms, without helping those who would destroy us. But if you choose to do so, I would be honored to fight alongside you and your people as an ally."

((Keep the HP, as he's beyond diplomacy. And take another HP for the speech.))

Azuza slaps your hand away. "You have defied the will of Jurai, and heaped humiliation onto my people, and my ship. Neither could ever been seen to be tolerated. My desires are immaterial. What I do, I do for my empire. For my people. And Jurai can never be seen by the Universe as weak.

"Tsunami!" he yells out, turning to her. "I ask you to destroy the humans and their allies. We will fetch my wayward family."

With that, he, Misaki and Funaho begin to fade out. "And... Sasami... I... I am sorry."

Ranma frowns, "This... does not sound good... scale of one to ten, how bad is this?"

Homura is still concentrating, with her bow raised, "I need a few more seconds."

"I doubt that." Kreuzritter says, "Even with Iara's..." The armored overlord barley hides the haughtiness in his voice, "Power, you scarcely have the power for such a feat. However, with my assistance you may be able to pull this off."

Rather than running, Xiao moves to Homura's side, and lends her as much of his power as he can muster

so yah, extra effort to add Xiao's variable power pool to homura's character sheet for whatever she's up to

"I'm sure we can't do it as efficiently as you, but we would rather do it slow then cause unnecessary damage to Iara's domain. And while you could easily perform the task with such subtlety, I would not presume to tell you how to do anything. I am simply looking to protect Iara's wildspace as much as possible, and that, if that task is intolerable to you, then you allow us to perform it while you return to your land with your underlings."

"No. It has to be just me. This won't work otherwise." Homera says to you, her eyes resigned to what she is about to do.

Yes. Yes he is.

"You know Kyubey, I can't really be mad at you for selling us out." Fandango says casually, "I mean you have no emotions. You can't be loyal, you have no capacity for it. You may as well be mad at a scorpion for stabbing you in the toe. Its just in your nature to be self serving."

"...On the other hand..." Fandango nukes the little hairball, "I will take what pleasure I can from this."

Kreuzritter is largely unreadable. "I really think you should reconsider." He finally says.

He looks up, "Do all of you share this sentiment?"
