Megaman: The Wily Wars [OOC]

The year is 20XX and the dawn of the golden age of robotics has come. In an age where machines have become near omni-present in society, a new line of 'Free Thinking' machines is being developed by Dr Thomas Light. These cutting edge robots are developed with advanced processing capabilities, will be capable of taking vague commands and operating tasks formerly too dangerous, or too complex for most humans to manage while operating within the bounds of their programming.

Dr Albert Wily, a former colleague of Dr Light, however has become a threat to this new era. Breaking into Light Labs, Dr Wily stole the completed line of robots and fled, only to reprogram and modify the robots to turn against society.

Now, with the city in a panic, and to prevent the landscape turning into a warzone, Dr Light has tirelessly worked to finalize a second line of robots to counter the forces of Dr Wily. But what will be the cost? Will this change the destiny of the planet... and what secrets lay behind Dr Wilys motives, and the mysterios past he and Dr Light shares.



Power level will be 8 with 100 points, No fortitude score and immunity to Fortitude saves already taken into account.

Interesting! I never knew about him. So that atleast adds some legitimacy to the concept of the players as unfinished 'second line' machines.

Having recently bought the first two Protomen albums, I'd totally be down for this.

However, I feel like I'd be spreading myself too thin. So I'll merely observe.

Yeah, I just pulled This in the marvel/dcu crossover Rift game, which is what got me thinking about that. :p

oh my god, let's hope this megaman game will actually get off the ground.

I'd be interested in playing some type of superfast robot master, originally built for delivering packages. I'd obviously call him MAILMAN

I'm getting all sorts of ideas as I'm writing this: parcel bombs, enveloppe shurikens... :mrgreen:
