Yeah it's Rant and Rave working as Phenoms bodyguards, for what it's worth originally I was going to have an arc where it's revealed that Rant left his sister for Phenom, in the Daviesverse it's well established that Rant and Rave are more than just brother and sister, You were going to encounter Rave at the party heartbroken and fight her where she revealed that her brother left her. Then later on, I was thinking either Vegas or Dallas you'd encounter Rant and Phenom.

Honestly though I couldn't resist using Phenom in this chapter, so I abandoned the subplot which would honestly probably only entertain me.

Just to mention it. I know that the combat inside doesn't take up much time compared to treating the injured in the parking lot, but you tell us if something's happening outside?

I think, perhaps what Sirzanek is getting at is... "Can I haz GM Post?"

...I was also wondering, 'cuz I'm not entirely up on how this works in the rules, if Cavalier loses Defense because he turned his back to Pompadour, and is (I believe) prone.

A GM post should be up in the morning or afternoon at the latest, I'm having trouble working through some of it myself. Cavalier isn't actually currently prone, he's just going to lift up Fauna. MnM doesn't really work like that anyway, there aren't any attacks of opportunity so just becuase someone has their back to you, as long as they're aware of where you are then they don't suffer from any defense penalties (I believe). Cavaliers defense isn't as high now as it previously was anyway.

Alright, I’ve been thinking about it for a few weeks now, I’ve put some serious thought into it and I’ve come to the decision that I want to end the game. I could sell you a line about not having the time or something like that but it’s not true, I’m just honestly not having much fun with it anymore. Posting has turned more into work than play and I just think at this point it would be best for us to all move on. It’s no one’s fault but my own that this is happening, you’ve all been fantastic and I’d love the opportunity to play with you guys again in the future.

Sorry to hear that you're ending the game. I understand that when a game becomes no fun for anyone (player or GM), that it's time to do something about it. I am somewhat disappointed that I won't get a chance to further develop Puma. Oh well, I'm sure we will be in a game together sometime.

If you've fallen out of love with the game, ending it was inevitable, so better sooner than later.

I thought it was a really great and unique idea, and well executed.
